Your life. It’s hardly just her life anymore. Her life is his life too, and yet, he seems to have conveniently left himself out of that equation. She’s reading between the lines of his words and hurting her own feelings.
“So do you, Mulder.” Her voice is a ghost. Barely there. “You have so much to do with your life, too.”

Sometimes all it takes to forge a new path forward is a different set of choices. The circumstances that brought Scully and Mulder to this point are not set and stone.
