Phil was jarred awake by music blaring through the apartment. He had no idea why Clint was laughing at his response.
"You're going to have to get used to that," Clint said. "Our daughter likes to play music when she gets ready for school."
"Disco?" Phil asked, incredulously.
"You and I never agreed on music," Clint said.
"I forgot you liked Disco," Phil said. 'I wonder what else I've forgotten."
"It doesn't matter," Clint said. "I'm just glad to have you back."
Pippa let herself into her Daddy's bedroom dancing to ABBA's "Take A Chance On Me". Pippa clapped her hands when her Daddy got out of bed and danced with her.
Phil laughed as he watched his husband and their daughter as they danced.
When the song ended, Clint said, "J, I need to talk to Pip can you turn off the music please?"
"Of course, Hawkeye," Jarvis said.
"You and I need to have a talk, baby girl," Clint said, scooping-up Pippa and putting her on his lap as he sat on his and Phil's bed.
"What did I do bad, Daddy," Pippa asked.
"It's okay," Clint said. "You didn't know any better. Your Poppy is home now so you need to knock on our door and not just come in."
"Like I have to knock on Uncle Tony's and Auntie Pepper's door?" Pippa asked.
"Just like that," Clint said.
"Okay, Daddy," Pippa said. "I'll 'member."
"That's my good girl," Clint said. "Do you want to go to school today or do you want to stay home with Poppy?"
"I won't get into trouble?" Pippa asked.
"I'll call your teacher," Clint said, "but, I'm sure she'll understand that your Poppy came home. You'll only miss 2 days. You can go back Monday."
Pippa smiled and nodded her head.
