Summary
February, 1971.
Vale's a large and bustling city, charming and rich in diversity. But beneath its pleasant exterior is a darker underworld filled with thugs, gangs, and people with all sorts of secrets.
Blake Belladonna happens to be one such individual, a VPD detective cloaked in secrets and shadowed by a grim past, bearing the marks and scars of a less than noble history.
Ruby Xiao Long-Rose is Blake's close friend and another one of VPD's detectives, the youngest the city has ever seen. She's determined to catch the serial killer she's been hunting and to ultimately make a difference in her city.
Unfortunately, Ruby's job isn't so simple when nothing in her world is quite so black or white, and everything and everyone around her just seems so murky.
