“Ah Ben come in” Max was in his office looking over some files from Paris detailing those so called new heroes “What’s the problem grandpa?”
“These two new heroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, they seem to be dragging their feet on this Monarch business”
“W-wait grandpa Monarch? I thought he was called Hawkmoth? or was it Shadowmoth?” Max chuckled
“He changed his name after somehow taking the powerful artefacts called Miraculous’s right under Ladybug’s nose, you remember the seminar on them right?”
“Sure grandpa powerful items that grant you a random power, held in a lost temple off China until it was mysteriously destroyed”
“So you do pay attention” Ben and Max glared at each other and then both burst out laughing “Yes well Ben I want you to go over to Paris and deal with him”
“No problem I’ll get Rook”
“No can do he is at a family event”
“Kevin and Gwen?”
“Kevin is out off the solar system buying more car parts and Gwen has exams, but she will be with you in a few days”
“So I’m on my own for now?” Max nodded and Ben took on a serious face “Don’t worry grandpa I’ll take him down, do I have transport?” Max groaned
“Not since Blukic and Driba blew up the hanger yesterday, try using Jetray”
Ben gave Max a quick hug “Don’t worry grandpa I won’t let you down” Ben ran out off the Plumber’s base and used the Omnitrix to become Jetray using the aliens super sonicspeed he flew to Paris in under and hour exhausted he stopped at a bakery and had abite to eat.
Soon Ben was hearing an alert going around Paris “Akuma Alert, Ladybug and Cat Noir will be dealing with am Akuma” taking his cue he transformed into Greymatter he was observing the Paris duo fighting a Pidgeon man “So lame even Doctor Animo can make a better villain out of him, now where did I leave off my calculations?” Ben was looking at the various maps he got out a tablet and calculating the most likely location off Monarch’s secret base soon he had it down to less than a mile, printing out the map Ben had a choice to make, Fasttrack or XLR8?
XLR8 ended up being his selection and Ben ran until he came upon a grand mansion, he recognised it from a fashion show Julie use to watch it belong to a man called Gabriel Agreste, he busted in and changed to Diamondhead, he found the mad man waiting for him “Hello Gabriel, rubbish outfit Doctor Animo looks more threatening in a colander” Monarch roared and ran at Ben, not noticing Ben lay a trap off Diamond head crystals, making the villain fall to the ground, he activated a ring and Ben realised it was a time related power quickly changed into Clockwork and used his powers pausing Monarch in place, the villain couldn’t move as Ben took off the rings until Ben had them all as well as the butterfly Miraculous “No no no, I have to win, you have no right to stop me American swine” Ben chuckled as he transformed into Swampfire tying the man up, he went into another room and saw a sickly woman on the bed “Hello young Ben Ten, I am Natalie, I take it the master of the house has fallen and now your taking us in?” she offered her arms “I was his accomplice I should be arrested too” Ben transformed back and put a set off hand cuffs on her, he called the police and used an alliance ring too call in the other heroes “Hey Ladybug and Cat Noir come to the Agreste Mansion now”
Ladybug and Cat Noir could not believe the sight outside the mayor’s office, the international hero Ben Ten surrounded by the other Qwami’s and Gabriel Agreste tied up in vines, with Natalie in hand cuffs in a wheelchair, while the police and the press were talking with Ben, he looked up and smiled as he saw the two “Ah about time you two got here” laughed Ben as the Qwami’s laughed with him “I have just done your work for you, so much for being Paris’s number one heroes”
“B-but I am a great hero so is Cat Noir” pouted Ladybug Ben laughed
“No your not”
“But!” Ben cut her off and suddenly went serious
“No you two don’t seem to get it do you? A hero from America had to come in and clean up the mess you two were unable to deal with, how long has this man been attacking Paris? why did you not stop him as soon a possible?”
“Okay watch boy tell us what you’ve done” Ben glared at Cat Noir and then smirked
“Clearly you don’t read the news, I have stopped mad scientists from experimenting on animals, defeated not one but two cults off nut jobs in the Forever Knights and the FlameKeepers circle, Stopped countless low level criminals, beaten a conqueror off ten worlds in Vilgax, stop the Highbreed from destroying the galaxy, stopped spellcasters running amok, stopped several multidimension threats and so much more, with only the help from my teammates and grandpa as back up, all while using a device meant for peace” he pointed to the watch “This is the Omnitrix a powerful tool? yes, but it is just a gadget at the end off the day, I am a hero first and foremost” Ben looked at the shocked heroes as the reporter gasped “Yup and you two have only stopped this man’s attack dogs” he pointed at Gabriel Agreste “If I left Doctor Animo do what he wanted with his animals they would’ve hurt innocent people, but I did make sure too stop him too, you two had the resources too stop him, but choose not to use them”
“How? what resources?” demanded Ladybug, Ben gave her a dark glare
“Simple really, you have the power to create anything correct?” she nodded “now bare with me as this sounds corny, but a Hawkmoth detector? kinda like what those ghost hunters use? could you make that? or a teleporter to get the miraculous’s to you when he stole them? or this is a favourite of mine a simple map with an icon saying ‘Hawkmoth Here’ and this is just a few ideas I came up with on my way to Paris earlier today”
Ben picked up Gabriel and loaded him into the Plumber’s transporter that had just arrived “Time for your due porcess you monster” Ladybug and Cat Noir just stared in shock as Ben 10 left the two novices shown up with a true hero, months later Su Hun came and retrieved the Miraculous’s from the two off them, the two now considered a disgrace in the publics eye...

Also better ending that the dog pile Astruc made, in his defence He does have good ideas but no one seems able to reign him in like his whole Chloe hatred.
