12/10. Fascinating and incredibly well-researched post WWIi queer subculture setting. Actually dangerous to be gay at the time, so a whole secret language and underground community evolved. Very compelling story of two couples who try to discreetly form a nontraditional family household and live their lives being as true to themselves as they can. Angst is mostly from outside forces and (fairly reasonable) worries about getting caught. Smut is mostly suggestive. Ends hopefully.

🥰🥰🥰🥰 this broke my heart with its sweetness and optimism. It slowly stopped being fanfic aand just transitioned into being a novel about people that felt real. The sweetness and support makes you yearn for it. And the scene of all of them going out on the town and Azi finally touching Anthony in public? Deliverance.
