   Summary

   What if Ed had never made it back to the ship after that night? What if he'd been alone in the aftermath of Stede's abandonment, forced to fight for survival and find a reason to live instead of facing the crew and the Kraken?

   A wicked storm wrecks Ed on a desert Island. Marooned and heartbroken, he makes a place for himself there, and susses who he wants to be with no Blackbeard or Stede or anyone else to influence him.
