Chanyeol had been sitting in this ‘waiting room’ for about the better half of an hour by now and still made no progress in his spot in the queue. The older guy next to him looked a little gnarly, his wounds much more severe. The afterlife has a fucking waiting room too, no different to the ones in life – only one person would leave after an hour.For a little context, Chanyeol was dead. So was the man next to him and all the others in the room.
“You see, you ain’t got no pre-decided destination like everyone be thinkin’. We write down where everyone wanna be goin’ to, but no one expectin’ you to go nowhere until the words leave your mouth. You got all the power to pick which way you wanna be goin’, though I think I already know where — no one ever be pickin’ the other.”
Heaven or Hell, a decision he was faced with throughout his entire life.
A sigh left his body as he turned to face the booth, his heart hammering against his chest, brows furrowed.
“One ticket to Hell, please.”
