"I hope I can see you again..." Chibiusa whispered dreamily as she flopped onto her bed to relax.
Thinking back to her encounter with Bigfoot, Chibiusa wished she could have spent more time with her biological sister. Particularly without their teammates, as that was problematic during their first meeting. As expected, many questions were swirling in the pink princess's head. Chibiusa had tried finding any record or lead of Kousagi existing in this dimension. As expected, she had been unsuccessful.
Furthermore, her parents were genuinely confident Chibiusa was their only child. For some reason, Jewel and Trisha would rather act as though Kousagi did not exist! Chibiusa knew why Jewel did not like Kousagi, but what was Trisha's deal?
As for Kousagi? She felt just as wishful and excited to learn about the bubblegum-haired girl's dimension. Kousagi even knew why she wasn't in Chibiusa's dimension. Yet that would take some explaining! In that regard, Kousagi's teammates would vouch for her story! Thankfully, Chibiusa and Diana convinced Jewel, Elizabeth, and Selina to help her try and make portals of their own.
However, she didn't tell her half-sister why she wanted to create them. Regardless, Trisha (Quartz was trying to bond more with Emily) had said, "Portals, wormholes, gateways are unreliable. If you hit a time warp during the transfer, you could get lost for years, and that's the least of your worries as all kinds of crazy things can happen if you get stuck mid-transfer."
"Why don't you help us, Trisha? You have power over those." Chibiusa said, egging Trisha on like Christen always did to everyone.
"I will have no part in this! I already feel dishonored watching you attempt it, Small Lady! Nevertheless, I am concerned for you both." Trisha explained why she stayed in the room.
"My Pink Moon Crystal will protect us," Chibiusa stated confidently.
"What if it doesn't?" Jewel demanded sharply.
"Well...let's hope we get lucky." Chibiusa smiled, still giddy with this idea.
As the two heiress and the kittens combined their abilities, Trisha instinctually felt something horrific would transpire if she didn't intervene immediately. Consequently, she charged up her energy to use 'Time, Freeze!' Despite that, she was forbidden to do so, as was her mother before her. Thankfully, the magic merged with her power. Therefore, instead of stopping time (and killing her), it also pulled her into the rift! After this, fate decided to be kind, and they fell on top of Mina, Amy, Raye, and Mako, Kousagi's teammates!
"Oh, good..." Raye muttered bitterly. She never liked to hang out with people so much so that she'd been forced to be with other girls because they were the daughters of her mother's friends.
"You're back already?" Mako questioned curiously. However, her smile betrayed her true feelings. It was unquestionably clear she wasn't pleased to see them.
"There's less of them than before," Amy observed the group.
"Great! You can watch Kousagi!" Mina pushed their bags into Chibiusa's hands, and they ran.
Seeing Chibiusa about to fall over, Jewel and Trisha grabbed a bag each.
"I don't understand them. Sure, Kousagi can be irritating. Aren't we all like that at some point or another? Regardless, she's their leader. They should help her become a better person." Trisha growled furiously.
"Should I teach them a lesson?" Jewel smirked wickedly as Selina transformed into her magical staff!
"Um...Maybe later." Chibiusa didn't desire Jewel to eradicate them.
"Sister?" A high-pitched, immature, squeaky voice sounded behind them.
The three girls turned and saw two big blue eyes staring into their faces! "Back up, Kousagi," Trisha demanded coldly.
"Oh, Jewel, Trisha! If you're here, so is CHIBIUSA!" Kousagi jumped into Chibiusa, finally knocking her over!
"If you hurt her, I swear I'll obliterate you!" Jewel threatened the younger lass.
"Jewel, it's OK. I'm fine." Chibiusa was going to scold her. Then, she changed her mind and decided it would be better to have her relax.
Kousagi's kitten, Cosmo, quickly got on Diana and Elizabeth's last nerve. "I have to go check something out. Jewel, Elizabeth, want to come with me?" Trisha asked.
"What about us?" Kousagi whined.
"No, Jewel and Liz will be enough. Besides, you and Chibiusa have so much to catch up on. We'll meet back up with you later." Trisha said in a scathing tone, so unlike herself. Jewel knew Trisha just wanted to get away from Kousagi. Realizing that was the best course of action for them, the rest of the group slowly walked away from the annoying brat.
"What's with them?" Chibiusa wondered aloud, staring at their retreating backs.
"Don't worry. I'm sure they'll come back safe and sound once they check out whatever they need to! I have SO many questions about your dimension!" Kousagi squealed in anticipation.
"What would you like to know first?" Chibiusa gasped loudly. Diana couldn't take Cosmo's mysterious sayings anymore. The runt of Moon Cats litter plopped herself on top of her princess's bright pink hair.
Kousagi had Chibiusa start from her earliest memory to the present day, which answered most of Kousagi's questions. "I wish my teammates were more like yours! Even our family in this dimension is hard on me..." Kousagi revealed sorrowfully.
"Speaking of that, why are you not in my dimension?" Chibiusa questioned.
"Well...I was. Let me explain a bit better: I was born when you traveled back to the past. While the Black Moon attacked Earth in the past, the Genius Loci attacked the Moon in the future. Their Phages struck me, removing me from my timeline and dimension. Then, they erased all proof of my existence.
I ended up being born much farther in the future. So far, I'm more like your descendant than your sister. I've tried getting back to my own time, hoping I could get back to your dimension from there, but no matter where I go or who I meet, nothing and no one can help me." Kousagi recounted her woeful tale as she and Chibiusa walked around town.
"Why don't you come back with me now?" Chibiusa gripped Kousagi's hands with tears in her eyes.
"It's not that simple. First, the Genius Loci did something to the time and space I was born in, splitting the dimensions and allowing them to do what they did to me. Getting to that place could be too delicate or even impossible now. Next, even if I could use it to get home, I've missed over 900 years of what could have been my life. I'm not sure I could get used to the more primitive living conditions compared to the lifestyle here. Lastly, what would I say to my family and teammates if I had to leave them for good?" Kousagi smiled sadly.
"Oh, I didn't think about any of that..." Chibiusa pondered out loud.
"It's OK, Chibiusa. I'm happy with my life the way it is now." Kousagi hugged her alternate sister.
"I need to tell Jewel and Trisha about this. Where could they have gone? Wait..." Chibiusa looked around, suddenly realizing she could no longer tell where she was!
"Let's just wait for them to find us!" Kousagi concluded, proud of herself for thinking of a solution.
Chibiusa smiled sadly back, hoping her friends could find them! In a forest, Jewel noticed Trisha seemed uncharacteristically irritated.
"Are you feeling alright, Trisha?" Jewel inquired curiously.
"It's...complicated," Trisha replied in a stern tone.
"Please, you can tell me. I promise I won't get mad. You're my friend, and I care about you. So it'll be OK." Jewel begged her fellow Senshi.
"I'm also from a different dimension, Jewel. Yet I also have the same father as you. Thus, we are BOTH Chibiusa's paternal half-sisters. Even when we learned about you, I was happy to know I have two half-sisters.
None of that bothered me. However, this...makes me feel irrelevant!" as she guested to the odango-haired princesses. "I could take up my mother's duty, and no one would miss me. I'd be alone again..." Trisha confessed as tears trickled down her beautiful face.
Jewel hugged her other sister softly before saying, "Trisha, please don't think like that. I'd unquestionably miss you. I'm confident Holly, Alexis, and Emily would feel incomplete without you. Even if Chibiusa didn't, the rest of the team would be devastated. I can only imagine how heartbroken Setsuna and Dad would be! Even Neo-Queen Serenity, as she is our stepmother." Jewel cradled her sister close to her heart.
"Even if I found out I had a full biological sister, I'd never replace you." Trisha smiled, relaxing into the redhead's embrace.
"Neither would I," Jewel murmured.
"We should be getting back." Trisha reminded the former Dark Kingdom princess.
"Right. It is getting a bit late." Jewel noticed, judging by the sky's vivid pink and lilac color. Returning to town, Trisha and Jewel noticed how eerily quiet it was. This would be normal at this time of day, but the never-ending stillness was off.
"This is unnatural. Nothing feels right!" Trisha screamed.
Suddenly, Chibiusa and Kousagi's screams could be heard as they skidded around a building's corner with humanoid mutants on their tail called Phages! Hastily, Trisha transforms into Neo-Super Sailor Pluto with a new transformation! Trisha spreads her body out as tubes of lavender-colored light encase her arms and legs to form her gloves and boots! From her waist forms her skirt and elongated back bow, and from her neck down forms her choker, leotard, and front bow! Lastly, her hair blows upwards to highlight her tiara and earrings!
A beam of light shines on her from a black background as she says her catchphrase! Seeing this, Chibiusa changes into Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon, and Kousagi morphs into Parallel Sailor Moon. Together, Neo-Super Sailor Pluto and Super Sailor Universe (who needed more time to think of a new transformation pose and catchphrase) use their staffs to create Dark Typhoon Energy Wave to dissolve most of the Phages.
However, there remained one group that required a harder hit! These Senshi combined their attacks. Unfortunately, Parallel Sailor Moon didn't genuinely have any attacks. Hence, the Phages went for her, turning its arm into a sword! Neo-Queen Serenity's secondborn "daughter" screamed and waited for the pain, but it never came.
Looking up, the blue-eyed girl saw Sailor Universe shielding her with the Phages' sword arm stuck through her chest! Her half-sisters looked horrified as Parallel Sailor Moon was in shock.
"Are you OK, Kousagi?" Sailor Universe turned halfway to glance at Parallel Sailor Moon, who nodded. "I couldn't stop time like Tris-sha, and I told h-h-her...not to...but I'm glad I could protect...the m-most important thing to Chibiusa..."
When the Phage pulled the blade out of her with a jerk, Sailor Universe de-transformed back into Jewel and blacked out into Parallel Sailor Moon's arms!
"She's dying!" Sailor Moon's second successor began to cry.
Shockingly, the tiny girl's team came rushing back! They had been waiting for the drama, and Karou, Harumi, Michiko, and Setsuko joined them! Though weaker alone than the Neo-Super Sailor Senshi, they combined what they knew to get the job done! Sadly, these Senshi were so selfish and lazy that they could not be bothered to help a dying girl!
"We need to go home!" Neo-Super Sailor Pluto screamed in alarm.
Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon pulled out Jewel's Dark Crystal as the golden-eyed girl could not help but activate their way home this time. Thankfully, once home, Chibiusa knew her team would prioritize saving Jewel's life. Being older and stronger, Trisha carried Jewel to the others, but the real reason Chibusa let her go...
"I'm so sorry, Jewel! I've not been a perfect sister, friend, or leader! I shouldn't have put you through this! I can't face my other friends right now..." Chibiusa thought as she sobbed. She felt more sorry for herself because she was sure Jewel would recover, so there was no need to be sad.
After a few days of separation, Jewel and Trisha needed to talk to Chibiusa! It was revealed that, while they understood how exciting it is to discover new dimensions, it was not healthy to become as obsessed with them as Chibiusa was. That leads to others getting hurt physically, emotionally, and even mentally! Chibiusa vowed from now on that she would think things through a bit more thoroughly before jumping head-first into a situation again! Also, Trisha used her abilities to enable Chibiusa to still talk to Kousagi as Chibiusa had to learn the Four Sisters, Amazoness Quartet, and even Naru (married to Umino in Kousagi's dimension) became Sailor Senshi!
