“Hey, I’m so sorry but I wanted to contact you because… I’m bit broke at the moment. I had to pay electricity bill and it was kinda higher than I expected. I’m afraid I can’t pay coming months rent in time.” You spoke fast. You kinda wanted this to get over with. You had never previously had any serious problems concerning your living in the apartment. No warnings because of noise or anything like that.
“I’m glad you are honest with me. But it is good thing that you reached out for that. I needed to contact about you something. I’m selling my apartment. It doesn’t affect you much, you can keep living in there if you would like.” He spoke. You froze.
”Oh, okay… So, someone will come to look my apartment or…?” You asked.
“I won’t arrange a screening, I already know who will want to buy it. My son.” He answered. Oh, what a relief. It woulda stressed you out if you needed to tidy up and welcome shit-ton of potential buyers to your flat. But wait, he had a son?
“That’s fine. So he will be my new landlord then?” You asked.
“Yes. Sage is fine with you living in there. You can discuss with him about that rent.
