Summary
Feng Xin and Mu Qing were best friends. And like best friends do, they grew up together, spending every possible waking moment with each other. And that -almost- leads to something more.
On his seventeenth birthday, Mu Qing comes home and finds his mother dead. And that it's (accidentally) Feng Xin's fault. And before he's given the chance to explain, Feng Xin is thrown out of Mu Qing's life in a fit of rage and remorse.
Roughly one year later, they enroll at Xianle University. Feng Xin enrolls in the southeast campus. Mu Qing enrolls in the southwest campus. Suddenly, it's announced that the two campuses will merge to form one Southern campus.
Then during a chance meeting through a mutual friend, they meet once again. And they'll be forced to face each other, face their fallout, and face all the feelings they thought they fled from.

In short, Feng Xin and Mu Qing are friends-to-almost-lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers-again.
