    "Obviously someone like Motoya could only be born in the height of summer, at the height of euphoria and joyous vacations.
    But late July also meant inevitable thunderstorms, gales, sometimes quite violent[...].
    To tell the truth, Motoya wasn't expecting any birthday parties or who knows what gifts. I mean: she was already on vacation with her two boys. Kiyoomi and Atsumu would join them the next day (assuming they didn't fly off first like the Witch of the East in the Wizard of Oz's Kansas tornado), there in Hokkaido, at the Noboribetsu Onsen[...]
