   Summary

   It's 1911, and legendary polar explorer Edward Teach is about to become the first person to reach the South Pole- until his first mate gets them stuck in pack ice. Stede Bonnet is also heading for the South Pole with the ship of his dreams and a mountain of unearned confidence, and when he sights his hero trapped, he goes to the rescue- only to get stuck himself.
