   Summary

   'Briefly, Will pried open Nico’s screwed shut eyelids, one at a time, with his thumb. As he thought, Nico’s pupils were blown wide and the whites of his eyes had blackened. For a moment, darkness swallowed the room as Nico recoiled, sensitive even to the fairly low light. When he'd covered his eyes with his hands once more, the flames returned.

   “Hm,” Will said gravely, “just as I suspected. Still the prettiest boy around.” '

   After the war with Gaia, and those three days in the infirmary, Nico still suffers the consquences- he's been afflicted with a mysterious condition. Will uses his medical knowledge and light powers to help treat it (and perhaps get a boyfriend in the process?)
