Miles sent a quick message to his uncle, Aaron, then looked up at his boyfriend. “Mike ‘n ite, you almost done?” The mutant snorted, “Stop callin’ me that, it’s cringe,” Michelangelo replied, not really meaning it as he shoved the can of spray paint the two stole together earlier into his belt (they didn’t have many date ideas anymore), and Miles tucked his phone into his own pocket.
“I should check on my bros first, y’know how Raph gets when I’m out for too long ‘nd don’t check in,” Mikey sighed, and rolled his eyes. Miles nodded, “Mkay. My mom probably she needed groceries done right about now and I am not about to get my ass whooped ‘cause I’m late getting home again again,” He laughed. Mikey’s nose scrunched as he snickered, making Miles’ face feel warm and his stomach feel fuzzy.
He cleared his throat, “Uh! Anyways, gotta go, bye, Mikey!” Miles grinned proudly, just as he got text back from his uncle. He ignored it as he waved goodbye to Mikey, then texted the boy heart emojis the second he was out of view, which Mikey returned immediately with kissy-faces. Miles giggled like a little girl, before checking his uncle’s message. His face dropped, and he quickly returned his phone to his pocket and scrambled to get to uncle Aaron’s house.
