Summary
Kou stares into his eyes for a moment, leaning into his touch and humming softly against the flat of his palm. There’s a long stretch of silence where, once again, it looks like he’s scraping together the courage to get the words out.
He glances down for a second, and when he looks back up his eyes are different. Richer, like the glazed-over look of a daydream unfolding; like searching for the blanks in a memory.
“I’m all yours.”
He blinks and flutters his eyelashes. Slowly, deliberately. Breathes in.
