   Summary

   At first Sam didn't want a pet angel, but as he began to learn about them, he tried all he could to stop the maltreatment of their species. He's even more determined when one of the archangels is dumped in his care and as he finds himself coming to love the battered angel, he realises that he will do anything to keep Gabriel, no matter the cost.
