There is a Dark House in Ballard. Xue Yang knows that a zombie, a witch, and a necromancer live inside, and decides to do something about it. It's not like he has anything better to do anyway.
Xue Yang snorts. “Are you kidding? If you’ve got real magic why the fuck would I leave now?”
“Toddlers shouldn’t swear.”
“I’m almost fourteen, fuck you very much.”
