Summary
“George, we might have a secondary,” Lucy called in a shaky voice.
“Nothing in my research indicated multiple deaths.”
Nothing on Lucy’s bingo card for the year had her getting dicked down on a job or being attacked by a ghost whose Source had already been secured, but here they were.
“Either your research was wrong or that silver-glass must be faulty,” Lockwood said. “Lucy and I just dealt with the exact same Type 2 we fought earlier tonight.”
“Or that wasn’t actually the Source, Lockwood,” George said with a frown as he pushed his glasses up higher on his nose.
It was a job that seemed quite straightforward, and even a bit boring, at first--an accidental death, an alarming haunting, a common form of Type Two. Pretty standard stuff for Lockwood and Co., especially now that the agency has become the most prestigious and sought-after in London. But as they are about to find out, almost nothing about this case is as it seems...This will be multi chapter!!
