Prologue
It was the mid 1800's when the industrial movement first took effect across Europe. Since then mechanical inventions have helped humans in more ways than man could have ever imagined beforehand. From automatonic body parts, to living machines helping people in their daily endeavors. Nearly everything was hooked up to some sort of machine which had greatly improved both the quality, and longevity of human life. Boost in technology in both medical and scientific fields was making the world much more stable for those of wealth, but more dire for those that couldn't afford the advancements to help keep up with societal advancements happening around them. Airspace living was strictly reserved for those of higher status, while most of those that stayed land based were either too poor to adapt to the new living, or older families that had contained their status on the ground.
Aside from there being airships, the technology of the time made it easy for people to be able to go from aerial living to ground living by buying specialized machines allowing people of needed professionalization's to go to where they are needed. Most of the smaller ships came with an option for land based movement, saving time and money.
With all of the new technology out people had come into a new calm on the outside, but like in every era of peace, an era of war was just around the corner.
