Chapter Text
It's been so long since he's seen that tuft of raven hair that seemed to rival the perfect black, biggest eyes that were perfect blues, and the smile that seemed to even be much brighter than the sun itself.
Oh, how Chifuyu missed those unforgettable attributes of his best friend.
Now all he seemed to even remember of him, was just memories that could never replace the one he so missed dearly.
It's been years, since that boy was found dead.
5 years since they met,
And 2 years since he was found dead.
Chifuyu hasn't been the same ever since, knowing the killer— who was the same age as them, not even convicted as he was too young and 'didn't know what he did wrong, and it was a complete accident!'.
Bullshit.
He just wished that stupid, disgusting Tetta Kisaki dropped dead.
He's harnessed nothing but malice against the boy, though never meeting him face to face ever again since he went to a completely different school than him.
He hates Tetta Kisaki,
He despises Tetta Kisaki,
For those 2 years, his loathing only got worse and worse; he had to go to therapy, he had depression, he was an utter mess.
And he still is.
He still cries himself to sleep, remembering his best friend— his partner.
He still walks around, bearing the smell of lavender and jasmine that his partner would always smell of whenever they'd meet.
He still has the dark eyebags under his dull green eyes from restless nights, that he'd let his mother hide with makeup to the best of her abilities.
He still went over to his partner's Minka, the nice lady that would always wear black ever since his death would welcome him in; occasionally sharing chamomile tea, as she talked about different stories about his partner and showed baby pictures of him.
He still hangs out at the park they met, wearing a sweater the kind lady crocheted for him that always smelled like Vanilla— a smell that his partner loved very much.
Oh, he could never let go of such things...his room forever smelling of Lavender, a section of his closet dedicated to the dozens of sweaters his partner's mother would crochet and place the smell of Vanilla on.
He's been able to put up a facade outside of his apartment, quickly making friends with a certain aggressive fanged boy named 'Baji', even being able to join a gang named 'Tokyo Manji'.
It was fun, he couldn't lie.
But, it would always remind him of his partner— so there'd be times that he, no doubt, would come off quite blunt or protective at times.
He didn't know he'd be this obsessive over someone that had left the earth 2 years ago, having pictures of when they were kids in the room, sometimes he'd switch off whatever facade he had on which would take the others off guard, before he quickly went back to such.
'A morbid crush,'
He thought.
He was in love with someone who was dead.
'pathetic,'
He kept telling himself, his grief seemed neverending.
He thought that he'd possibly move on, being in a whole Gang. The idea of suicide roamed in his head though, wanting to be by his partner's side once more.
'There's no reason to just..try and live like this, this.. isn't what I want.'
It was true, this isn't what the truly wanted. Anti-depressant pills weren't helping one bit, the ideation of suicide just haunted him more and more, seeing his partner in his dreams just weren't enough anymore.
'Maybe I should just kill myself.'
He thought once again, planning to just hang himself in his room— or cut his wrist and bleed out in the bath tub. He'd like to be surrounded by the smell of Vanilla and Lavender, as he slowly lets go of life.
Until, he saw him.
Sure, he was unrecognizable at first; tanned skin, dyed blonde hair that was gelled, and gold rimmed glasses.
But his loathing made sure that he'd immediately recognize the one that killed his partner.
He had to restrain himself from just marching over there, and beat the boy to death. His facade broke, and nothing but a silent stare at the tanned boy throughout the whole meeting was done.
'This was it.'
He thought,
'I should just kill Kisaki, the same way he killed my Partner.'
He recalled the way Takemichi died, he was pushed Infront of an incoming truck— the impact killed him almost immediately.
'Before I kill myself..'
He felt a grin itching onto his face, dull greens staring at the distracted Kisaki.
'I'll make sure I take you with me.'
It wouldn't be ideal to be reincarnated with Kisaki following behind, but as long as he'd by Takemichi's side.
He's fine with it.
'Please Michi, wait for me in the other life.'
He would rather commit a crime and kill himself, than to die from a broken heart and let a criminal roam freely.
