Chapter Text
I'd wait for you.
I'd wait years,
Decades,
Centuries,
Just to see your innocent face once more.
For your eyes to flutter open,
And I see those blue spider lilies that greet me.
I'd wait by the lavenders,
Waiting for them to bloom once more,
And give me nothing but distilled hope.
I'd wait even on my cold bed,
Where arms that soothe me into an eternal sleep,
Embrace me lovingly.
But now,
You're the one that waits for me.
You wait for me.
To walk the same path you took.
I couldn't fathom the thought
Of letting you wait a gruesome length,
So I'll come to you
And take you in my cold embrace.
So please wait for me,
As I'd wait for you .
