Summary
Miles Edgeworth has convinced himself that the universe must be playing tricks on him. He keeps being assigned to prosecute case after case in which he believes that the defendant is innocent. For help, he calls upon a certain defense attorney for counsel where he admits that his feelings on justice and truth may be changing, and he is deconstructing previously-held beliefs.
When Phoenix continually responds with understanding and help, he finds himself changing in more ways than one over the years.
