Positive PR

Summary:

A race to the top to win the favour of the beautiful Princess.
No one is ready to back down, especially after the announcement of the tempting prizes they'd get if they won.
But what happens Gojo comes face to face with the Princess? Will he win their favour or not?
OR
The Jujutsu society plans to hold a reality TV competition to increase their PR and get some good money out of it.

Notes:

The summary is absolute trash IK.
Looking at all the angst fics after the S2 dropped really made me sad. Don,t get me wrong, they're all great!
Anyways, I thought I'd make a comedy instead. Although this isn't a full fledged comedy. I really dunno at this point. I tried my best so please do give it a read and prolly laugh at the fic's humor... or the lack of it. As long as it puts a smile on your face... hehe.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“Good evening, folks! I hope winter is treating you all well.”, Nobara speaks into the microphone, eyes averted toward Panda as she addresses him, “Hi there, Panda! How have you been holding up?”

“Curse my hibernating tendencies…”, Panda exaggeratedly groans into his mic, “It's so cold outside that the only thing that’s keeping me from being locked up in my room today is this insanely exciting Jujutsu challenge.”

“You can say that again.”, Nobara agrees looking back ahead into the camera impishly. “For those who’ve missed what’s going on -”

“This is the first-ever Jujutsu obstacle challenge!!!”, Panda hollers into the mic, making Nobara yell along with him, “Hell yeah!”.

“AAH, the excitement has me tingling all over.”, Nobara squeals as Panda nods his head profusely.

“Well then without further Ado let's go over the premise!”, Nobara half yells, looking over to the screen Toge was holding next to the camera.

“Okay! So, the premise is simple.”, Nobara starts, “Our princess is stuck at the apex of this mansion, filled with traps and curses that the participants must exorcise before reaching the top.”, Nobara giggles excitedly as the television shows the audience the view of the mansion and the back of a graceful visage overlooking the window – ‘the princess’. There were two young women on either side, their backs facing the camera as well, giving off a foreboding, possessive aura.

“However, our princess here is a spoiled brat and shall only let you win when you impress them.”, Panda tuts.

“But Panda… after all this trouble what do the participants get if they win?”, Nobara asks, feigning innocence.

“That’s the exciting part…”, Panda pauses to build suspense. “They get to choose between two options.”

“Oooo… They better be gooood.”, Nobara sings as she looks at Panda with intertwined hands.

“Oh you bet they are.”, Panda continues, “The winner that the princess approves of gets to choose betweeeeen - ”, Panda extends as the screen shifts to the video they made before shooting.

“Unlimited Tickets to a 10-day trip to Okinawa!”, Panda says as the screen shifts to a scenic view of Okinawa. “Or…”, Panda waits for a beat before announcing the other option, “An exclusive one-week date on a private yacht with our princess!”, Panda declares proudly.
“That sounds so excitingggg!”, Nobara squeals all starry-eyed, genuine this time.

“Exactly my feeling!”, Panda agrees. “Why don’t we get started then?”

“Well, let's set some ground rules before that.”, Nobara switches to a slightly more professional tone.

“As we mentioned earlier – the first to reach the princess and gain their approval is the winner. The participants have only an hour to do so.”, Nobara states and continues listing the rules. “Participants can participate individually or may team up at any point of the competition.”

“There is no restriction on the use of cursed techniques and tools. All non-shamans out there can get a glimpse of the techniques we use that way.”, Nobara winks at the camera.

“Everything except teleportation, killing or gravely injuring your opponent is allowed.”, Nobara concludes before covering one hand to whisper, “Including bribing and ganging up on each other.” She clears her throat as she sits in a poised posture again.

“We’re already shorthanded… can’t afford to lose more people.”, Panda quips. They both grin when they see Toge give them a thumbs-up.

“Well, then folks. We’ll introduce our participants right after this short break.”, Nobara smiles.

“Grab your snacks and kick back into your seats so we can get this Christmas Eve special starteddd!”, Panda rhapsodizes.

The screen soon displays a few advertisements including one that featured a certain cult where non-shamans could get rid of curses haunting them at a certain fee. Sitting in the director’s seat, Yuki laughs at the ad.

“Geto is making the best out of the Sorcerer world exposure.”, Yuki comments sipping on her coffee as the others smile awkwardly.

The whole setup was Yuki’s idea to get good PR for the sorcerer world, right after they ousted the higher-ups and figured it was best for the world to know of their existence. Tsumiki suggested a friendly reality TV competition where they battle out for a prize any common non-shaman would love to get their hands on. It would make Shamans appear both relatable and less intimidating. Everyone was aboard the idea with a few volunteering to participate and the others agreeing to work BTS and get their hands on some tempting reality TV money.

Yuki had to search a while for a suitable, difficult-to-impress ‘princess’, who after much pursuance and a hefty share of profits, agreed to do it for her. The crew were the only ones who knew their identity. The participants had absolutely no idea what they were in for.

Yuki had stationed Mimiko and Nanako with the ‘princess’ to take care of their needs, keeping a screen in their room so they’d be entertained as well.

The camera they were using to shoot the competition was inspired by Maki’s glasses imbued with cursed energy. Since non-shamans couldn’t visualize curses, they figured it’d be a good idea to imbue the camera lens with cursed energy to help the audience see the curses. All the video cameras that were recording the events unfolding inside the domain were also of the same kind. The doors and walls were all imbued with techniques that would avoid cursed energy detection by the participants, which meant they would always encounter each other by surprise.

They made Mai take care of distractions. Her job was to hinder the sorcerer's progress by throwing in trouble from time to time.

Maki, Kamo, and Kirara were in charge of the missions that day as the rest were busy gaining some PR, while Hakari and Momo agreed to take care of filming the participants and fights.

Mei Mei was generous enough to offer production money, slave-driving everyone into milking as much profit as possible. Ijichi and Nitta busied themselves with backstage work.

“Well, break times up! Back to your stations kids!”, Yuki clapped her hands and bent toward the camera to film Panda and Nobara.

“Welcome back!”, Nobara waves at the camera, beaming. “Thanks for staying with us.”

“Let’s quickly introduce the participants to the audience so we can get started, shall we?”, Panda asks Nobara who eagerly nods.

“Before that… A quick introduction of our judges.”, Nobara says as the camera Hakari was holding swivels to show the judges.

“We have two very capable and rule-abiding people in our judges' panel today.”, Nobara starts, urging Panda to continue.

“Utahime Iori – Student supervisor, Kyoto Prefectural Jujutsu High School!”, Panda introduces as the screen displays a smiling Iori.

“Masamichi Yaga - Principal of Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School!”, Nobara introduces Yaga as Panda interrupts, “That’s my dad, you guys!”, making Nobara break out in laughter, Yaga frowns slightly on the screen as Panda chuckles. They look at Yuki who seemed okay with the improvisation.

“We’d also like to introduce Shoko Ieri. She will be taking care of any injuries that unfortunately do happen here today.”, Nobara says with a respectful tone as the screen shows Shoko smiling at the camera behind a first aid box.

The screen goes back to displaying Panda and Nobara. “With that, let’s move on to our participants today!”, Nobara asks Panda.

“Yup. Heard they’re all determined to get their hands on the prize.”, Panda grins as the screen displays the participants. “The interesting thing is the participants do not know who the other participants today are.”

“Alright first off!”, Nobara starts, “We have the ideal ‘best friends’ duo – Itadori Yuji and Aoi Todo!

The screen shows Yuuji and Todo walking out of one of the tents on the ground next to the mansion domain. The duo walks towards the start line where the Hakari is stationed with the camera.

“Hi there you two!”, Panda waves excitedly as Yuji and Todo grin widely.

“What made you decide to take part?”, Nobara asks.

“Nothing’s better than some quality time with your best friend.”, Todo speaks animatedly. He reaches out and encircles his arm around Yuji, ruffling his hair as Yuji exclaims, “We need those vouchers to Okinawa for some quality time together!”

“Ooo the bromance is tangible.”, Nobara gushes.

“Good luck you two!”, Panda smiles. “Alright, next on the list is a surprise for all. It’s Fushiguro Megumi!”

“Oh my!”, Nobara’s face is of surprise, “It’s THE Fushiguro Megumi! That certainly is a surprise.”

“What might your motivation be?”, Panda asks.

“I need 2 tickets to Okinawa.”, Megumi looks into the camera disinterestedly.

“Ooo our Megumi finally found a partner?”, Nobara presses for more details, leaning in curiously.

“Nothing of the sort.”, Megumi replies flatly. “It's just me and my sister.”, he mumbles as he casually makes his way to Yuji, trying to hide behind the two to shrug off the unwanted attention he was receiving. He wanted to spend more time with his sister by taking her on the trip. A nice and peaceful retreat he hopes to offer Tsumiki.

“Haaaw that’s the sweetest thing ever.”, Nobara cries as she hugs Panda’s fluffy arm.

“Agreed!”, Panda lets himself be pulled by Nobara. He clears his throat as he sees Yuki gesture towards them to finish the other introductions on time.

“Ahem. Next, we have the only couple participating today…”, Nobara sings, “Miwa and Mechamaru!!!”

The couple came out of the tent next. Miwa smiles politely at the camera. “Hello!”

“Hi there you two… It’s refreshing to find a couple amongst the participants during the competition.”, Panda comments, grinning at the young couple.

“Thank you.”, Miwa smiles back. Mechamaru holds her hand and speaks, “We’d love to win couple tickets to Okinawa so we could spend our anniversary there.”

“Aaaw. I’m rooting for you two!”, Nobara squeals into the mic.

“Good luck you guys!”, Panda grins as he waves.

“So, who’s next Panda?”, Nobara turns towards the cursed toy.

“Next we have the strongest sorcerer among the Jujutsu high students… Okkotsu Yuuta!”, Panda hollers as Yuuta is seen walking out of his tent on the screen.

“Good afternoon.”, Yuuta smiles at the camera Hakari is holding.

“What’s the young heart-throb doing on these sets?”, Nobara asks, wiggling her eyebrows.

“Ah well…”, Yuuta scratches the back of his head shyly, “I’m here to win tickets so I and Maki can go on a much-needed vacation.”

“A recreational retreat, eh?”, Panda muses, “You deserve it given the amount of work the two of you carry out on your own.”

“We hope you get the tickets! Maki-senpai would be so happy!”, Nobara beams as Yuuta nods and walks toward the rest of the gang.

“Next up we have the adultsss.”, Nobara drawls. “Let’s welcome our dear overworked Nanami-san!”, Nobara half-yells with great zeal.

As Nanami walks out of his tent, the students stare at him in awe. They were visibly excited to see their mentors take part as well.

“Nanami-san! It’s great to see you here!”, Panda addresses him first.

“It’s truly a surprise to see you here Nanami-san.”, Nobara smiles as she adds inquisitively, “You have a loved one you want to take on the trip too?”

“I’m here to win myself a vacation at your expense.”, Nanami adjusts his glasses suavely.

“Straight to the point!”, Panda chuckles. “Good luck Nanami-san! You do need a vacation far faaar away from Tokyo.”

“Thank you.”, Nanami responds, standing next to the crowd of students. The screen shows Yuuji rushing towards Nanamin to make conversation.

“And now! For the final participant, we have a man whose name is sure to throw everyone here off guard.”, Nobara states as she studies the expressions of the other participants.

“The one. The greatest. The legendary. Gojo Satoru!”, Panda practically yells into the mic like a rock star from the 90s.

The participants stand there in utter shock, looking at the white-haired man stride out of his tent confidently. He throws the hunkiest smile towards the camera as he addresses his students on the other end while the rest of the participants stare incredulously and Yuji starts to holler in glee.

“Hi there, kids!”, Satoru brushes his snow-white hair back.

“Hello sensei!”, Nobara waves at him happily.

“Sensei to what do we owe the pleasure of having you as one of the participants tonight?”, Panda asks curiously.

“Yeah. Can't you afford the prizes yourself?”, Megumi cuts in.

“Of course, I can! That’s out of the question.”, Satoru tuts at him as he turns back to the camera. “Just buying stuff is boring. I want to win these vouchers myself so I can spend time in Okinawa with my boyfriend. That way he’d know the hard work I put into winning these.”, Satoru grins, teeth twinkling in the sunlight. He takes off one-half of his blindfold and looks into the camera with one of his crystal blue eyes. “Watch me, sweetheart, I’m gonna win this for the both of us.”, Satoru winks his eye with a playful smirk.

Putting Satoru in there for extra TRP ratings was a great idea. He’d effectively pull the attention of many thanks to his looks, body, voice, prowess, and very being!

“Good luck sensei!”, Nobara wishes him well as she looks back at the script Toge was holding on a screen. Panda chuckles at the way everyone is still dumbstruck.

“Looks like no one is interested in that one-week date offer with the ‘princess’”, Nobara states with a hint of surprise.

“Maybe they’ll change their mind once they see who it is.”, Panda comments as the camera shifts to Satoru snorting like that’s absolutely out of the question.

Elsewhere, Mimiko jests the ‘princess’. “Is this seriously the guy you're into?”

“She’s right. You could’ve done so much better”, Nanako supports her twin’s argument.

“Don’t question my choices girls it only makes me feel worse”, a voice replies. “Let's see how this plays out.”

“The result is obvious.”, Mimiko rolls her eyes.

“I don’t particularly care about the result of the competition. I care about what’s in it for me.” The voice starts. “What isn’t so obvious is what he has to offer to impress me.”, The ‘princess’ smiles slyly, covering their mouth with the yukata sleeve and chuckling into it foxily. “And I definitely won’t go easy on him.”

“Nor will we ever let you go easy on him.”, Mimiko adds as Nanako nods.

“Good. That’s exactly what I want.”

The mansion domain was a confusing maze of traps and curses with the players interacting with each other only in the higher levels.

Yuuji and Todo soon find themselves face-to-face with Mechamaru and Miwa. It took the best-friend duo no longer than 10 minutes to beat the two. The tough part was yet to come with Megumi on the other side of the wall, equally confused and lost.

Needless to say, the lively commentary from Nobara and Panda was often interrupted by Gojo yelling into the special cameras placed in the domain, yelling for his loved one’s attention. This persisted long enough for Yuki to cut him off completely, giving him a window of opportunity to bribe through a reluctant Nanami.

“Okinawa is basic.”, Satoru shrugs as he tries to put an arm around Nanami.

“I don’t hear you complaining about going there.”, Nanami replies stiffly, adjusting his glasses.

“No. Naurr…”, Satoru brushes off his accusation with a better offer. “What I mean is… You deserve better.”

“Like Malaysia.”, Nanami raises his brows, looking at the taller man sideways.

“Now we’re talking.”, Satoru whispers, smiling deviously.

“30 minutes into the competition and we’ve got Miwa and Mechamaru back at the stands.”, Panda sympathizes as Ieri tends to their wounds.

“The competition is getting exciting…”, Nobara starts with great zeal, “Megumi, Todo and Yuuji are very close to clashing. Just a few curses and a wall apart.”

“Ooooo I can't wait to see how this one ends!”, Panda claps his hands excitedly.

“Looks like Gojo-sensei and Yuuta-senpai are still figuring their way upward. The paths are the greater puzzle for them, not the curses.”, Nobara points out. “Who do you think would reach first if they don’t encounter each other?”

“Interesting question.”, Panda ponders over it for a few seconds. “Yuuta with his presence of mind would definitely win. But… You just cannot underestimate sense. He’s good at everything!”

“Agreed! They’re both super smart when they need to be.”, Nobara has a finger on her chin. “But sensei isn’t the best when it comes to direction…”

Their discussion is cut off by the scene on the screen. A somewhat pleased Nanami walks out of the mansion, adjusting his tie and cuffs.

“Nanami-san! Where are you off to?”, Panda asks curiously.

“You do know that you’re disqualified once you exit the arena, right?”, Nobara asks, voice filled with worry.

“Yes, I’m well aware of the fact.”, Nanami clears his throat as he stands before the camera. “It’s 5 minutes past my work time now and I prefer to go home at this time.”, he replies professionally. “Thank you for giving me a chance. I believe I’ve earned myself a better deal.”

The crew is left speechless as Nanami walks towards the school gates.

“Is that even allowed?”, Panda prompts the judges expectantly.

The two seemed to not give two shits about what was going on, instead, they sat sipping on their egg nog, lifting the placard with a red ‘O’ on it.

“Well… er. That was Nanami-san!”, Nobara tries to cover up. “It was great having him around.”

“That leaves us with Megumi, To – Oh wait!”, Panda frantically points at the screen. “The confrontation we’ve all been waiting for!”

The screen shows Megumi summon a swarm of rabbits towards Yuuji and Todo, both of whom seemed to be reluctant to fight back.

“What’s going on?”, Panda turns towards Nobara.

“Maybe they’ll make a deal too.”, Nobara smiles deviously.

“There’s no way we’d win against sensei.”, Yuuji tried to negotiate, shooing away the rabbits as he didn’t want to hurt the cute animals.

“He’s right. This fight would only end up in collateral damage.”, Todo supports Yuuji as he tries to close in the distance between them and Megumi.

“What do I get in return?”, Megumi asks skeptically, blocking a sudden move Toda makes on him with his forearm, the impact almost throwing him off.

“A better chance at winning. Duh.”, Yuuji states in a matter-of-fact way.

“You have 10 seconds to decide!”, Todo smirks, throwing a punch at Megumi’s face which he dodges tactfully.

“So, we win the tickets as a team?”, Megumi asks, getting on the ground to avoid Todo’s moves.

“Yup!”, the best friend duo unanimously grins.

“Okay.”, At one final attempt, he holds Todo’s calf and catches him off guard, bringing him to the ground with a hundred rabbits to support him.

Yuuji whistles in an impressed manner as Megumi huffs out a breath and summons back his shikigami.

“And they’re ganging up on Gojo-sensei you guys!”, Nobara jumps in excitement. “Gojo-sensei is finally on the top floor. Still figuring out the way I see.”

“Look! Yuuta has made his way to the 2nd last floor. Just one more floor for him to be able to reach Gojo-sensei!”, Panda states proudly.

However, they watch in rather dreaded fascination as Yuuta disappears when a bright light goes off.

“What just happened?”, Nobara looks at Panda quizzically as he shrugs his shoulders.

“Yuuta is disqualified.” – the words appear on the screen Toge was holding.

The two let out a disappointed groan as they try to figure it all out.

Yuuta finally makes his way to the 2nd last floor. He steps through the corridor lithely, destroying any and all curses in his vicinity. He made sure to put on a good show as Yuuki instructed them that their main purpose was to increase TRPs.

He nears the end of the corridor, and an overwhelming cursed energy takes him off guard just then. “Wha-”

“I’ll see you later Yuuta-kun.”, Yuuta hears his sensei whisper into his ears as he goes through the unmistakable feeling of being teleported. The white light blinds his eyes and he uses his hand to shield his eyes. He was surprised he hadn’t noticed the sigil covered by the carpet before. Perhaps he had thought his sensei would fight him directly. He should’ve known better.

Yuuta soon finds himself at the start. He hears gasps from the people present there and almost laughs. That was fun.

“He caught me off-guard.”, Yuuta shrugs at the camera as he sweeps his bangs to the side.

“No way that was not against the rules!”, Panda exclaims, looking at the judges yet again hopefully. When the camera focuses on them this time, they seem to have set a bonfire and are currently roasting marshmallows sitting beside it. Shoko kicks the wood into the fire to not let it extinguish and Utahime wraps a warm blanket around them. Yaga goes on about his passion for making cursed toys, clearly high on egg nog and marshmallows.

“Hey! Who gave them a bonfire?!”, Panda yells at the staff as Nitta and Ijichi shrug helplessly.

“That was certainly pointless.”, Nobara comments.

“It was fun watching you!”, Nobara tries to cheer Yuuta up along with Panda.

“Thanks, you guys.”, Yuuta smiles politely. He spots Maki in the stands with Miwa and Mechamaru and runs to her.

“You did well.”, Maki smiles at him as she wipes off some stain that is sticking to his shirt cuff.

“I really wanted to go to Okinawa with you.”, Yuuta sighs deeply.

“Who says we won't get those tickets?”, Maki smirks at him.

“Huh?”

“Sensei would definitely give them to us.”, Maki states surely. “He’d obviously chosen the other prize. After all, the princess is…”, Maki trails off as she whispers a name to Yuuta, his eyes growing wide as a result.

“Does sensei know that?”

“None of the participants know that”

“Hmm…”, Yuuta chuckles. “He’d be so happy he’d buy us all tickets as a celebration.”

“That’s very much something he’d do.”, Maki smiles faintly.

They sit there, fingers entangled as they listen to Nobara and Panda blast off in the commentary.

“I look forward to the trip actually.”, Maki smiles shyly, leaning forward to kiss Yuuta on the cheek.

“Me too.” Yuuta smiles shyly, caressing Maki’s hand softly as he kisses her forehead sweetly.

“You must be tired after the mission… I’ll go get us something to eat?”

“Let's go together. The results are too obvious anyways.”, Maki gets up and dusts her pants.

“Haha. True.”

The couple walk away towards the school exit as evening starts to fully set in.

“We have less than 15 minutes left and Gojo-sensei is extremely close to the exit.”, Nobara comments with stars in her eyes, sitting on the edge of her seat.

“If he gets 2 more corridors right, he’ll reach his destination.”, Panda nods along, sweat dropping as Gojo makes yet another exaggerated appearance into one of the wrong rooms.

“Ooo. Look what we have here~”, Nobara sings as she points at the screen where the three teen boys had figured out a shortcut to the room nearest to Gojo.

“We can finally see sparks fly!”, Panda grins as he notices a crew member missing. He whispers into Nobara’s ear “Where’s Toge?”

“He was right here.”, Nobara whispers back.

The duo throws Yuuki a questioning glance, further confused as she only laughs merrily.

What goes on in the mansion answers all of their questions.

Megumi, Yuuji, and Todo encounter Gojo entirely by surprise. They were hoping to take a shorter way to the goal and outrun their sensei instead of confronting him. That plan seems to have taken a turn for the worse.

Just when the three were to pounce on their teacher with simultaneous attack combinations they had devised for the worst-case scenario, they heard a command that was sure to torment them for days.

KICK.”, Toge commands as Gojo smiles cynically. He seems to be completely unaffected thanks to his infinity.

Toge’s ‘kick’ seemed to specifically target their balls as they doubled down in pain, each of them a writhing, groaning mess on the floor.

“THAT’S DIRTY!”, Yuuji managed to yell.

“I got to him first.”, Gojo shrugs. “Thanks, Toge. Now for the finishing move!”

“Salmon.”, Toge replies as he gets farther away.

Gojo cracks his knuckles and neck as he jerks it side to side. He places his fist on the floor, releasing just enough cursed energy to make a hole in the floor and send the three crashing into the mattresses he had asked Toge to place on the ground floor.

“I’ll make sure I get the tuna mayo onigiri get delivered to you on time.”, Gojo turns to smile at him. “On a weekly basis for 6 months. Just like we agreed.”

“Salmon!”, Toge’s eyes crinkle as he gives him a thumbs up.

“Well, that was certainly another unexpected twist.”, Nobara laughs awkwardly.

“You don’t say…”, Panda responds, keenly watching the camera as Gojo finally bursts into the right room.

“At this point, it doesn’t even matter what the judges say…”, Nobara shakes her head hopelessly.

The camera shifts to the judges, currently dozing off by the fire as the late evening sun sets in.

“That was certainly not in accordance with the rules.”, Panda murmurs, dismissing it shortly. “Oh well, this wasn’t a fair match since the moment Gojo-sensei decided to participate.”

“True.”, Nobara stats as she looks back at the screen. “Look! Here comes the best part!”, Nobara squeals beside him.

“I MADE IT!”, Gojo kicks the sliding doors down, making his way into the ornately decorated room where the ‘princess’ was supposedly housed. The room overlooked the expanse of Tokyo Jujutsu Tech.

“Humph. Took you long enough.”, Mimiko replies first, crossing her arms in clear disapproval.

“Mimiko? Nanako? What are you two doing here?”, Gojo tilts his head to the side.

“Girls.”, the sweet voice he had known too well greets Satoru as the ‘princess’ in question chides the girls. “He’s made it this far. Let’s welcome him a little kindly at least.” The beautiful figure that had been etched into Satoru’s mind got up and slowly turned towards him.

Geto Suguru. The love of his life standing there in broad daylight. The very man he went through all that nonsense for is standing before him. Had he known Suguru was the princess, he’d have definitely tried harder, Satoru figures as he beams like a child.

“Suguru!”, he smiles widely. He is about to rush forth to give his boyfriend a hug when Suguru stops him with a firm hand gesture.

“So? How will you gain my favour?”, Suguru asks with his head tilted a little high and to the side. A habit he often displayed when he knew he had the upper hand.

Satoru finds himself at a loss of words as he hungrily takes in Suguru’s form. The dark ebony tresses were beautifully styled by the girls with flowers and hairpins. Suguru had faint makeup on which made his features softer in the late evening sunlight. His lips were a delicious shade of red, his eyes lined with black eyeliner. His side bangs were perfectly swept, every strand of hair meticulously placed. He even wore an exquisitely crafted jūnihitoe, the layers of fabric seemingly flowing endlessly.

Satoru finds himself strangely turned on by the situation, eyes ogling at Suguru’s figure, trying to make out the outline of his body beneath the layers of clothing. He figured he’d enjoy himself undoing Suguru’s jūnihitoe layer by layer, like unwrapping a repeatedly wrapped present.

“Satoru…”

Aah, the sweet, sweet way in which his name rolled off Suguru’s tongue always drove him insane.

One thing at a time.

Satoru took a step forward and let out a breath. He only thought about coming here in the first place. He hadn’t thought about Suguru being the ‘princess’. If there was one thing he knew for sure, it was incredibly hard to satisfy his one and only.

Satoru sighs as he gets an idea. He gets right to it, not wasting any time as he undoes the first few buttons of his shirt. “I wanted this to be a surprise…”, Satoru starts as he continues to completely unbutton his shirt. “But desperate situations call for desperate measures.”

Satoru completely shrugs off his shirt and it pools near his feet along with the mic attached to his shirt. Satoru hears a few gasps that he is sure to have echoed to the studio as well. He looks up to catch Suguru gaping in awe, mouth covered by his Kimono sleeve in a dignified manner.

“Good enough?”, Satoru asks confidently, tilting his head to the side and throwing a lopsided grin. He extends his arms slightly to give Suguru a proper view of the tattoo he has on the left part of his chest. It was a majestic version of Suguru’s rainbow dragon that spanned gracefully across the left side of his chest and upper arm. Satoru knew how fond Suguru was of that curse so he got it made 2 weeks ago.

Satoru looks at Suguru’s change in expression victoriously, almost laughing as he senses the barely concealed lust. Suguru was practically drooling. So much so that the girls had to make him look the other way and cover his eyes so they could get a better deal.

“Don’t be swayed by his charm Geto-sama”, Nanako whispers into his ear. “We need more funds remember?”

“But he-“

“You’re gonna sleep with him anyway!”, Mimiko snaps back impatiently. “Take the money Geto-sama…” Suguru blushes a deep red shade when he hears the words. He felt really embarrassed to have such a conversation with his little girl.

“Yes, yes. You’re right.”, Suguru waves his arms cutely and clears his throat.

He turns back to Satoru and audibly gulps. “You’ll have to give us more than that.”, Suguru states defiantly, eying the tattoo like a starved man. He deliberately uses the word ‘us’ to imply that the girls influenced his choices more at the moment, just so Satoru doesn’t get the wrong idea.

“Oh c’mon!”, Satoru shifts his position in annoyance, eyeing the girls with a pout.

“The rules are the rules.”, Mimiko shrugs.

Satoru sighs in defeat as he whines, “Fine… I can’t believe I’m doing this.” He could luckily think up a backup plan in case this didn't work. What did Suguru love more than him? The answer was way too obvious and it honestly worried Satoru to no end. Almost makes him feel insecure at times. Almost.

Satoru reaches into his back pocket to produce a branded wallet. He makes a show of searching for something, loving the way Suguru’s eyes follow his every movement, every muscle, every inch of skin. Satoru finally fishes out a gold card from one of the compartments and holds it out.

“I’ll give you full access to one of my debit cards for a whole week.”, Satoru spoke dourly. He was lucky these cards had a daily withdrawal limit.

The girls and Geto look at him, speechless. Satoru can practically SEE the hearts forming in Geto’s eyes.

“Y-You mean it?”, Geto asks as his voice shakes.

“Of course, I do baby.’, Gojo smirks, holding out the card and outstretching one of his arms, still shirtless.

“Geto-sama… He’s the one.”, Mimiko whispers in awe. “This is more money than all three of us collectively thought we’d milk!”, Mimiko exclaims in a hushed voice, already thinking of numbers. Nanako seemed to be doing the math in her head, nodding her head vigorously.

“Marry him.”, Nanako silently squeals as she nudges Suguru forward.

Suguru smiles in that lovely way Satoru loves as he runs into the Six-eyes’ arms. Suguru expertly grabs the card from Satoru’s hand and tucks it into the folds of his Kimono before hugging Satoru tight. It was at these moments Satoru ended up doubting their love just a little. Suguru’s naked lust for money often overwhelmed him, but Satoru knew better. He knew Suguru genuinely loved him and he’d do anything to put a smile on his princess’ face.

“What will it be then?”, Suguru’s muffled voice brings him back.

“The yacht of course. The others can have the Okinawa vouchers.”, Satoru smiles down at him. “I can fund it if they need extra money.” Satoru almost gets a nosebleed thinking of all the possibilities on that yacht - alone with Suguru for a whole week, in the middle of the fucking ocean.

Suguru covers his mic tightly so no one hears. “Great! I can’t wait to have my tongue all over this tattoo of yours”, Suguru says huskily as he rakes his nails over the tattoo turning white skin red.

“Oh, the things I’d do to you on that yacht…” Satoru says lowly, gripping Suguru’s hips harshly.

Suguru shivers slightly, letting go of Satoru and smiling at him. “Keep the shirt off for a while. We’ll get more TRP.”, Suguru whispers as he lets go of the mic.

Satoru nods obediently as he picks up the shirt, takes off the mic from the discarded article, and attaches it to his pants. He silently trails Suguru like a puppy out of the mansion and into the studio as Yuki calls it a day.

In the end, they actually end up getting more positive reviews because of Satoru’s little show than anything else.

Suguru gets his advertising and money for the cult seen through and Satoru gets to fuck the leader senseless on a yacht for more than a week, or hopefully, even longer.
