In the Gryffindor common room was the old couch facing the fireplace. James Potter and Sirius Black were acting like school girls upset over a bad break up, only these boys were upset over being banned from playing in the next Quidditch match. they were lying on their backs, their heads side by side, but their feet facing opposite each other.
"Prongs?" Sirius asked James.
"wh's the matter Pads?" James sleepily replied.
"Why didn't we listen to Moony?" Sirius asked. James sighed and carefully placed his glasses beside him before answering.
"Probably 'cause we're idiots. Even Wormtail knew the trouble this prank could cause. And here we are. Banned from our own skills. I hope Slytherin wins."
"You're just upset 'cause Evans can't run onto the field and give you a victory kiss." Sirius snorted. In return, James pulled one of Sirius' black curls that fanned out around his head.
" Ow Prongs! It was just a joke!" Sirius whined. Just then, the portrait hole opened and in came Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew.
"You two did it anyways, didn't you." Remus stated, shaking his head.
"I told you so!" Peter snickered.
"Put a cork in it!" James and Sirius groaned in unison.
