GN!READER — Roommate!Ghost who comes home from a three month deployment, is on leave for about two weeks—and something is wrong. Different. Not with him, but with you. It isn’t glaringly obvious at first; nothing is out of place at home, his room was left the way it was when he first left, your routines seem the same—but can tell something is off. You’re just a tad quieter, you spend a few more minutes in the shower than what Simon last counted. When it’s time to walk down to the corner store, he watches you pocket a switchblade—you never did that before. Simon tries to initiate a conversation about anything that happened while he was gone, but your eyes drop to the floor for a second whilst you say nothing big or important did. Simon is frustrated because obviously something did—what happened? ..And why won’t you tell him of all people?
