There're a lot of part about how Adamas and Zeus relationship work in this story. Hope it's no to wordy.

Work Text:

It has been a few years since the Gigantomachy war had ended, and the gods in Greek pantheons were going about their respective jobs and duties. Among this group of gods was Zeus, accompanied by Hermes as they made their way down a lengthy hallway. Zeus occasionally interjects in response to Hermes's explanations, hoping their discussion ends soon.

"Hey, did you hear about Adamas-sama?" the first voice asked, his words catching the King of the gods' ear. "Yeah," the other voice replied, "I heard a nymph run in fear after she couldn't satisfy him."

The third God interjects, laughing slightly, "Is it true, though?" he asks. "Nobody even wants to bed with him, even the low-ranked goddesses."

"Now you mentioned it", the first voice replied. "No sane beings would willingly do 'it' with the God of conquest."

At the last point, another god could not help but laugh: "He sure is the least attractive Greek brothers.".

.

"Heh, the rumours work," Zeus thought to himself. Some rumours that Zeus deliberately told others were usually about Adamas vulgar attitude, uncooperative nature (untrue) and love life.

Adamas had a small circle of the person he could consider companions due to his tight schedule .(more like helping with Zeus with his unfinished paperwork)

It's a good jokes to made Adamas less popular among the younger generation of the god. Adamas would become increasingly isolated in heaven, interacting only and exclusively with Zeus and Poseidon……. Zeus thought grimly.

This would also fit well with Zeus's plan to draw his older brother closer to him and make Adamas more dependent on his cute little brother.

"Hihihihi" Zeus snickered by the thought

Adamas may have a titan-like appearance, but he never sees him as unattractive. As a god who stands by the principle of playing on the bed, Zeus dares to admit that his second brother has the most attractive waist and thigh. Drool

Despite Zeus's efforts to spread rumours about Adamas, some of the gods still accompanied Adamas or talked to him. Oddly enough, Adamas still had a loyal following of gods who appreciated his knowledge and companionship.

It was not surprising that Adamas was well-known for his charisma and well-liked in the past, especially during the reign of Kronos.

That is what Zeus had heard.....

At least Adamas attention were limited only to his offspring.

Speaking of Adamas….. Zeus hasn't seen Adamas for a few weeks now.

"Hermes, do you know where Adamas is?" Zeus asked, cutting Hermes off. Hermes stopped and looked at his father. "I'm afraid I haven't, Lord Zeus", Hermes replied unamused.

"Aww, too bad," Zeus thought, smiling with excitement. He couldn't wait to see his brother, Adamas's, irritated face when he heard about the rumours. Adamas's is the best in conveying amusing expression, and Zeus was eager to witness it firsthand.

Recently, Adamas had begun to act distant from Zeus. (The King of gods was in a delusion because Adamas actually stopped coming to Mount Olympus because he believed that Zeus could handle his duty now).

Zeus knows that Adamas will come to Olympus every time Poseidon attends their godly meeting...

Still, it's not the case either. He can see the eyes of that damn tyrant brother of his, glancing around like a lost puppy searching for Adamas, who was absent during the meeting.

Zeus was okay with this, as he knew Adamas was typically busy handling other matters such as conquest or campaigns. Despite this, he was slightly disappointed by the reduction in his brother's affection towards him.

Before Zeus took over the throne of the King of Gods, Adamas had frequently visited Zeus beforehand to offer him guidance and support in his new role as the King of the Gods.

Zeus found the help of his older brother, Adamas, to be extremely valuable. The harsh training and strict discipline that Adamas had enforced upon Zeus, had reshaped (more like beating him) to be the God he was now. With this, Zeus could perform his duties as the King of the gods in an exemplary manner, maintaining justice and peace throughout the realm.

……apart from his tendency to engage in sexual encounters with random women….

Meanwhile, in contrast with another one

Poseidon.....

Poseidon often painted the sea red with his temper and anger, making Adamas frequently went to the tyrant of the sea palace to console and scold him. A slight mistake or display of foolishness could cause Poseidon to go off the rails, running his trident towards any living as a punishment.

Unlike Zeus, Poseidon was moodier and more temperamental, making Adamas pay him more attention.

Always him...

Thinking to himself, Zeus wondered whether or not he could cause a bit of trouble to gain the attention of his brother, Adamas.

And so, determined to get Adamas's attention, Zeus decided to stir up some mischief with the other gods.

.

.

.

The outcome was Adamas marching up Mount Olympus with a significant amount of annoyance, presumably to set Zeus straight and give him a piece of his mind. The gods and goddesses at Olympus hushed and whispered among themselves when they saw Adamas stomp angrily towards Zeus's palace.

AT ZEUS OFFICE

Adamas' calmly' stand in front of the pervert and never up to good little brother while crossing his arm. He was silently thankful that none of his nephews were with them; Adamas opened his mouth.

"Zeus, please stop whatever the fuck you're doing."

"What is it, brother?" Zeus replied, acting innocent and oblivious to the situation.

"You know exactly what I am talking about." Adamas's veins started to emerge from his face.

"Stop waging war with Hera," Adamas informed angrily, remembering Hera, his sister, came by to his abode whining and complaining about Zeus to him. Her constant distraction caused Adamas to gain a divine headache. Why did he have this kind of sister again? Oh yeah…We are the Greek Pantheon. They are the most f-up family.

"But I'm notttttt," Zeus protested, looking with a hurtful face and acting like a child trying to avoid responsibility. "Look, I'm doing my work right. Am I a good kid?"

"You're sleeping with another woman besides Hera, which is considered a war," Adamas pointed out sternly. "Stop it. Hera has caused those women and your bastard enough pain already."

"Why do you care?" Zeus asked, surprised by his brother's reasoning and not understanding why he was so concerned over the other pain.

"Pregnancy without goddess's blessings hurts like hell," Adamas pointed out.

"How did you know? Based on experience?" Zeus teased, while wiggling his eyebrows making Adamas frustrated and annoyed by his little brother's jokes.

"That's not the point," Adamas said sternly, his expression suggesting that he was not amused by Zeus's teasing.

"Hmm... Adamas-niichan does not explode as usual," Zeus thought to himself with a hint of surprise.

Usually, this would rile Adamas up, and he should've been slamming his head on the office wall or breaking some stuff to prove his point.

Zeus studied Adamas's expression and could see the face of disappointment on the Greek brother. It seemed as if Adamas expected better of him.

Don't look at me like that.

"Okay, I won't do it next time," Zeus replied, clearly trying to make it up to Adamas. He didn't know why he felt scared to press his brother more. Adamas just stared straight towards Zeus's soul, searching for any hint of sincerity inside his eyes.

"…" Without a word, Adamas walked out of Zeus' office, kicked the door hard, and broke it.

Zeus was slightly disappointed that his brother didn't say anything more.

A few days later, Zeus received news that Adamas had gathered an entire army to challenge him for the throne. Instead of being upset by this information, Zeus was delighted beyond measure. He looked forward to fighting in a great, epic battle with Adamas and was excited to test the strength and valour of his brother.

"REALLY HERMES??!" Zeus said enthusiastically.

"That's what I heard. Shall I intercept my uncle immediately?" Hermes asked while bowing down, slightly excited by the news of a looming battle with his uncle.

"No need, no need," Zeus replies with a booming laugh. "How about you assist Adamas? Let's make it more fun," he adds with a smirk.

"As you wish, Zeus-sama!" Hermes replied happily, now granted permission to fight alongside his beloved uncle and let out some much-needed resentment toward his father.

On the other hand, Zeus was pleased that he had managed to anger Adamas, causing him to attempt a coup d'etat against him. Adamas knows what Zeus like in fight; he knows how to quench Zeus's bloodlust in battle. "Hohohohoho, I can't wait!"

With the help of Hermes, Adamas managed to gain the support of some of the members of Zeus's Council. He even earned the backing of a powerful ally, the mighty Typhoon, who agreed to aid him in his coup d'état against Zeus.

"MY BIG BROTHER IS SO COOL!!"

Zeus was proud of his brother for his excellent charismatic skill. However, Zeus was also sad that he would be unable to see Adamas for some time.

"Patience is a virtue," Hades told him long ago, and Zeus bid his time for their inevitable showdown.

 .

.

.

"Erase God of Conquest from the seat of Olympus," Poseidon ordered firmly.

"Huh, I thought Hermes was joking around," Zeus said while looking at Poseidon with a confused look. "Come on~~ Poseidon, he's our big brother. Loosened up a bit."

"That damn brother of yours defile the title as a god", Poseidon said indifferently.

"Butttttttt, the coup d'état hasn't started yet."

"It's over."

"eh~~~ so where's Adamas?" Zeus said while looking around them, hoping Adamas would suddenly emerge, fuming angrily.

"Probably whining like a bitch at the underworld, humiliated after losing."

"EHHH! Both of you fighting without me?? No fairr!" Zeus said while pointing at Poseidon accusingly.

Always him….

Poseidon just glared dangerously.

"I can't make the decision solely for you now. How about the other God thinks?" Zeus said to Poseidon with a severe expression.

"Do I care?" Poseidon said as he turned and walked away.

Zeus just shrugged, not wanting to argue with Poseidon over this. He hesitated to erase Adamas's name from the record, as he loved his brother and didn't want to irritate him further.

Zeus delayed Poseidon's request to remove Adamas's name from the record for a week. Still, as the days passed, Adamas did not come back or make any contact with the other gods.

The plan to overthrow Zeus was halted, and the pantheons were getting restless to fight, but no progress had been made.

Zeus noticed this strange absence. Realizing that Adamas was unofficially missing.

And an idea came to his mind. If..he erased it, maybeee he can get Adamas's attention!! So, it might prompt Adamas to return and come angrily to confront him. 'YES! That's such a brilliant idea, Zeus!" he thought.

This might be the perfect way to lure Adamas out and get his attention. No severe punishment will be imposed towards Adamas. After all, Zeus knows…

Adamas never hurt his brothers.

"Alright! Call all the gods for the meeting! I have an announcement to make ~."

Thus, hereby, only 12 gods remained on the seat of Olympus, which caused an uproar among the other gods who held respect towards Adamas.

The ice-cold glare by Poseidon was enough to shut them up with their protest. None dared to defy the King of the Sea.

"I hope you know what you are doing, Zeus," Hera said, but her eyes were looking at Poseidon with a distasteful look. She walks away from Zeus with an unread expression.

"Odd…Hera never cared that much about Adamas," Zeus thought briefly and quickly brushed it off. He looks around to look at the face of the Pantheon. Huh. Sometimes, Zeus forgot that Adamas was actually one of the respected gods. (Author: What a jerk, you're damn lucky you get to be his little brother)

And Zeus now just waited patiently for Adamas to show up.

Days pass.

Weeks pass.

Months pass.

"Adamas still won't come back, huh," Zeus thought. Zeus wants to resume playing war with Adamas, but oh well….

"Zeus! You little shit! War is not a game." Adamas once nagged him a long time ago.

"Ah, I can still hear his voice," Zeus said out loud while walking toward his favourite place.

Just as usual, Zeus sought to ease his boredom through pleasurable activities. He strolled through the realm, searching for beautiful ladies to woo and charm.

"Oh, hello, ladies~," Zeus said, approaching a group of goddesses with a seductive smile. "What are you ladies up to?" he said with a heart in his mouth, skipping happily towards a group of goddesses.

A MOMENT LATER

After a blissful night with beautiful women, Zeus slept peacefully.

However, a sudden poke in his face jolted him out of his slumber. Opening his eyes slowly, he saw a small male figure standing before him.

"Hey, wake up," the small male voice called to Zeus.

Zeus yawned, still feeling a bit drowsy from his nap.

"Huh"

Zeus's eyes fluttered open, and he saw a familiar face. It was Adamas?! He quickly sat up from the grass, looked down at his body, and realized that his body was smaller than usual.

"Zeus, it's starting to get cold now; come," Adamas said gently while extending his hand to lift Zeus up from the ground.

Zeus took Adamas's hand and followed him to the mass of flowers. He felt a strange sense of obedience towards Adamas as if he had been hypnotized to listen to him.

Of course, he is the only one who obeys Adamas's word and acknowledges him instead of Poseidon. After all, Zeus loves his older brother so much.

The only big brother that understands him and is always there for him…

Not enough.

Zeus wanted more...

yet Adamas always give all his attention towards that sea god instead of him….

.

Always him...

.

Zeus suddenly became solemn as he grasped Adamas's hand more tightly. "For a moment. Let me have your attention," Zeus mumbled while walking down, looking at the trail.

Zeus and Adamas reached the castle's front door, formerly their childhood home; Zeus gazed at the entrance with a feeling of nostalgia. He felt Adamas's hand let go of his,

"Adamas? What's wrong?" Zeus said, worried and confused by Adamas's sudden change in mood, and he looked up to see Adamas walk through the castle's front door.

'Wait….I haven't seen you for such a long time…Why are you leaving me now?'

"Brother! Wait," Zeus called out as he ran towards Adamas, only for the front door of the castle to close, causing him to smack him in the face and knock him down.

SMACK

Zeus opened his eyes and was greeted by Hermes, who smacked his face with a paper fan to wake him up.

"Forgive me, Lord Zeus, but you need to get ready for today's meeting," Hermes said.

Zeus looked at his side and saw that the Goddesses he had slept with yesterday were no longer there.

'What was that dream just now?' Zeus thought while feeling dazed.

.

.

"LORD ZEUS WAKE UP!" Hermes screamed in his ears.

"YOU BRAT! I'M NOT OLD YET," Zeus said, now fully awake, rubbing his ear.

_____________________________________________________________

"Tchh too much disturbance," Morpheus thought. Zeus is too energetic during nighttime, and it's hard to lull him into sleep without alerting him.

"How come the hypersexuality god like him is too hard to control?" he said aloud, sighing heavily.

_____________________________________________________________

Another day, another tiring day for Zeus. He sighed heavily while trudging back to his bedchamber. The night is beautiful tonight. The soft wind blew softly on Zeus's face, causing him to become more and more sleepy.

"Ughhh, I hate doing paperwork alone," Zeus whined at nobody. He missed the day when all his older brothers were discussing and finishing their work before they were given each respecting realm to rule.

Hades, who will make a conclusion on every topic to ensure there is no misinterpretation, Adamas who expertly navigates the flow of the discussion by the most important to less, Poseidon who silently scribbles down and writes essential documents with his neat writing.

And Zeus, who would not stay still.

Sometimes, he went to Hades to help him; sometimes, Adamas, who dismissed him instantly, saying that Zeus cluttered the flow. Poseidon would glare at him dangerously, daring him to spill the ink on the paper 'again'.

Zeus missed that day when the four brothers worked as one.

With a great sigh, he let out a breath of relief and threw himself down onto his bed. The wind blew on Zeus's face again, lulling him into a peaceful sleep. Zeus happily basked in Morpheus's embrace as he drifted into a deep dream.

Zeus was pulled into a dream.

Zeus's eyes suddenly opened, and he saw the floor before him. "What? Where am I?"

He looks at his hand…He became a little kid again. He lifted his head.

A rush of shock and dread as he realized he was kneeling before his treacherous father's throne.

His mind was consumed with hatred, anger, and...fear? He, Zeus, was trembling before his father?

Because of this stupid child form, Zeus suddenly felt vulnerable and uncertain in front of his father. The emotions he never thought he'd feel again resurfaced.

Kronos looked at his youngest son disdainfully as the other deities stood by in anticipation. Zeus could feel fear and mortification as the situation dawned on him. "You've done another mess; what should I do with you?"

His eyes started to watered. He hates this feeling, he hates facing his father.. he hates being here alone... He hates it.. he wants his big brother to be by his side like they always do.

I want my brother.

"Look at me, brat," the voice commands. No… somebody I don't want to be alone with him…Hades… Poseidon….

Adamas…

"Father," Zeus heard a familiar voice in the shadows behind him. Zeus, who still glued his eyes on the floor, widened. Zeus abruptly turned to see his red-haired brother, Adamas, beside him.

"Forgive me for disturbing you." Adamas lowered his voice. "Isn't it imprudent for a king to act like toward his own offspring?" Adamas spoke firmly to Kronos with a straight face that caused the other deities around them to gasp and whisper.

Zeus was utterly stunned; suddenly, the memories of them during his younger days surged back into Zeus's mind. Ah, how could Zeus forget that Adamas always stood between Kronos whenever the younger siblings made a mess. Adamas bravely defends them without any hesitation.

While Zeus always turned a blind eye to the pain Adamas endured

"You dare to speak to me like that," Kronos said grimly toward Adamas. Adamas stayed silent. Kronos slumped back on his throne. "You want to take this brat punishment? Be my guest," Kronos threatens Adamas, daring him.

Adamas stood boldly before Kronos, "I will take the punishment." Adamas said defiantly.

"Zeus, stand up," Adamas said while beckoning Zeus to stand up and leave.

"No...no...don't do that. Let's leave together!" Zeus said in panic. He didn't want to leave his brother there alone, facing his father's punishment. He was also afraid of losing Adamas again.

...again?

Wait…when was the last time Zeus met with Adamas? Zeus holds his head, grunting in pain. Wait, "This just a dream..right?"

SHIT! The dreams illusion is starting to crack

"Leave, Adamas," Kronos ordered. Adamas kneeled and slowly lifted Zeus into his arms, carrying him firmly. "Let's go," Adamas said while walking out, ignoring their father's words.

"Who said that brat can go?"

Adamas looked at his father mockingly, "You said I can leave," Adamas said indifferently.

Kronos walked down from his throne and approached Adamas and Zeus. "Leave that brat or else," Kronos said slowly, almost threateningly. Adamas, however, refused to budge, hugging his youngest brother tightly and completely concealing Zeus from his father's view.

Zeus wanted to escape his brother's embrace so that he could stand and face his father, but he also felt comforted by his brother's warm embrace. Zeus felt torn to decide.

"Brother, let me go...I can protect you..." Zeus said softly, yet Adamas's grip getting tighter.

Suddenly, a painful hit can be heard across the room. Adamas budged a bit but still held his ground.

Zeus was frozen in fear as he heard the contact. He felt Adamas's grip loosen around him and then tighten again. Zeus lifted his face trembling and saw ….

Red….

His brother's silky red hair

Red….

There was a nasty bruise on the body when Zeus accidentally saw Adamas's naked body….

Red….

His beloved brother's blood.

Dripping on his cheeks….

drip,drip,drip

Adamas was hurt because of him…..Again...

GASP!

Zeus held his chest down, breathing frantically.

He couldn't remember exactly what had happened, but he remembered seeing his father and Adamas….

"NII-CHAN!!" Zeus quickly got up from the bed. Where.is Adama-Oh ...wait...

Zeus massages his forehead. "It's just a dream," he said while slumping back onto the bed. "Just come back already," Zeus whispered while slipping back into his slumber.

_____________________________________________________________

Morpheus wipe his sweat, "Fuh almost get caught."

_____________________________________________________________

Zeus's mood was terrible that day. He hated himself for still fearing his father. He felt like a coward. Zeus's mind kept drifting back to the nightmares of the night before. He couldn't shake the feeling one felt.

Guilty

Zeus sat upon his throne, sighing with frustration. "Can any of you stop angering Poseidon?" he said exasperatedly, annoyed by the moody sea god's actions. Poseidon's rage was causing the mortal world to be unable to conduct their regular activities, creating unnecessary trouble for him.

"Forgive me, Lord Zeus," Hermes interjected. "Based on all the reports I've gathered, Poseidon grew particularly irritated during his evening teatime."

"Huh? Are you kidding me?" Zeus scoffed. "I never knew 'relaxing' time could cause that tyrant to become agitated," Zeus said, still can't believe that the spoiled God could be pissed off by something insignificant. "Perfect god, my ass," he mumbled, unable to hide his disdain towards Poseidon.

"If he's going to be this temperamental, he should keep it to himself," Zeus grumbled still sulking about Poseidon fighting with Adamas without him.

"How about Lord Zeus tell him?" Hermes suggested.

"You want me to get drowned or what?"

Zeus woke up in his dreams, feeling confused and disoriented. He realized he was a small kid again and noticed he was holding a wet book. He looked closer and discovered that it belonged to

"W-wait, this book..." Zeus thought, trailing off. He looked up and saw angry-looking young Poseidon ready to strike him.

"POSEIDON! DON'T!" the red-haired God quickly ran beside the fuming, blond-haired God. Poseidon just stayed silent. "Poseidon, we can get a new one," Adamas tried to coax him; their eyes didn't meet, but he patiently tried to calm the tyrant.

"No," Poseidon snarled and tried to reach Zeus in anger.

"How about we just dry it out, okay?" Adamas stops him.

"No, it became disgusting to flip." Starting to lose his patience.

Zeus quickly ran behind Adamas and hugged him by his waist, clinging to him. Adamas instinctively ruffled his younger brother's hair, attempting to comfort him, but kept his attention focused on Poseidon.

"Pose-"before the red-haired god could finish his sentence, "Tch, annoying," Poseidon said coldly and walked away, leaving them two behind. Zeus was still hugging, peering at his older brother, Adamas. Adamas stared at Poseidon, who faded into the distance with a sad look.

Why is it always him...

"Are you okay?" Adamas said while crouching down in front of Zeus and carefully wiping Zeus's wet hair away from his face. Smiling softly. Zeus's heart skipped a beat. How can he forget that his brother was gentle to him? "Come, let's get you dry," Adamas said while holding his hand, which Zeus happily grasped.

Both of them walked in the long hallway, with the sound of dripping water accompanying Zeus's footsteps.

"Zeus, why did you do that?" Adamas asked as they walked.

Zeus kept quiet, not knowing how to answer his brother's question. Adamas sighed in frustration. "Next time, don't pull a prank on Poseidon. Make sure to return his book DRY," he said sternly.

Zeus just stared silently at Adamas. "Zeus, I will not always be here," Adamas said. "You need to get along with Poseidon too."

"Poseidon is scary." Zeus was startled that he could talk but not of his own accord.

"I know he can be scary sometimes, but deep down, I know Poseidon is a caring brother in his own way," Adamas answered genuinely while smiling. Adamas continued to speak about Poseidon to soothe Zeus down, but-

Why is it always him...

"Why are you talking about him like that? Didn't you see he didn't care about you at all?" Zeus grasped Adamas's hand tightly. "Why do you always make that look when talking about him?" Adamas still talk animatedly with a beaming expression until they reach his room.

"And here we go, in you go Zeu-" Adamas's words were cut off as he noticed Zeus standing still, gripping his hand tightly.

"What's wrong, Zeus?" Adamas asked, sounding confused.

'Why did you always care about Poseidon instead of me? I hate it...Can you just talk something about me too?'  Lost in thought, Zeus was ushered inside the room willingly.

"I'll call a servant for you, and..." Adamas took the wet book from his hand that he still holding, "I'll go console Poseidon next," Adamas said, making Zeus widen his eyes. "Don't want him to flood the castle with his tantrum, right Zeus?" Adamas continued, making Zeus feel even worse.

Zeus don't want Adamas to go to Poseidon and leave him alone in his room. Adamas should not go to that bratty God; Adamas is supposed to stay here with him instead! Not that blonde fish!

"NO! I DON'T WANT SERVANT; I WANT YOU!!" Zeus exclaimed, anger and jealousy consuming him. It's hasn't been an hour both of theme are together; why does Adamas want to leave him already and go to Poseidon?

Why is it always him!

Adamas was startled by the sudden outburst of Zeus's anger and frustration and slowly returned to his younger brother.

"Poseidon cannot control his emotion that well ye,t if father knows that Poseidon throw another tantr-"

"Let him get punished!" Zeus cut him off, now pouting with teary eyes.

"Zeus, please, Hades, ask me prote-"

"I DO NOT CARE!" Zeus screamed with a sudden burst of crackling lightning energy, hitting Adamas full-on and forcing him to the floor. Burning flesh can be smelled.

Ah…

I didn't mean to do it...

…Huff…

I hurt my brother again...

Huff…

No… please don't...

Adamas's hand burnt, with the sound of crackling thunder.

Please don't…

Adamas looked at Zeus with a sad and disappointed look.

"..." No word was uttered. Adamas stood up and walked out of the room. "I'll not call a servant for you until you have calm down." He said without looking back.

Zeus tried to move and apologize, but…. he couldn't do anything.

Please don't look at me like that...

"I'm sorry… I'm sorry." With his willpower, Zeus stepped forward.

"Please!" He tried to reach out towards Adamas as reality crumbled around him.

Tears started to trickle down from his cheeks, "Brother!"

Don't leave me.

GASP!

Zeus stared at the ceiling of the room.

Lost in thought. Clutching his chest in panic. He can feel throbbing pain inside his chest. A single tear ran down his cheeks while his eyes widened.

Why did he cry?

Zeus's mood was terrible again that day. He hated himself for being timid. He felt stupid. Zeus's mind kept drifting back to the vague memories of the nightmares. He couldn't shake the feeling one felt.

Guilty

Another day, and the same regular duties for the King of Gods. Zeus was diligently working at his office desk, and if you look closely at his face, he still bore the hand-shaped red mark.

Zeus is fuming in anger. He got slapped by Hera again. That damn woman always managed to cockblocked him and humiliate him? Was the punishment not enough to make her behave to be a good wife? Witch  (Zeus need to be a good husband too)

Ahh, how Zeus wished he can rant about his trouble to his brothers....

The thing about revealing one's personal problems could be seen as a weakness by others, and the information can be exploited for their own gain. But Zeus's three older brothers were an exception. Zeus knew that they would never use his words against him. Especially Poseidon, who never bothered about Zeus at all.

"Oww," Zeus touched his throbbing cheeks. Now, back to his main concerns. Zeus noticed that Hera's behaviour was becoming increasingly aggressive since Adamas had disappeared….

Wait, it can't be that?

"No way..." Zeus mumbled and then laughed loudly. It can't be Hera and Adamas were on good terms now? Really? Unbelievable...

"She cared about Adamas after all? How sweet," Zeus said sarcastically, mocking Hera as he imagined her caring about his brother.

He couldn't help but find the situation amusing. After all, Adamas had always been a thorn in her side due to his appearance, a reminder of Titan, and she was never on good terms with him. And now, she suddenly cared about him?

Zeus couldn't help but laugh at the irony of it all.

He leaned back, tilting the chair slightly. "Ah, how I wish Adamas was here right now."

For some reason, the weight of godly duty had become a burden to Zeus. He had always managed to handle it with ease, but now he was giving out parts of his responsibilities to the other Greek gods, hoping that he could take a break. He didn't know why this had become necessary all of a sudden.

Odd.

Zeus gave out his work reluctantly, feeling like he was betraying his position as a king of God. But he felt overwhelmed all of a sudden…maybe the absence of Adamas bothered him?

Duh! Of course, now Zeus was taking over some of the work of the former God of Conquest. (Not as much Zeus had given to Adamas before, bum god) It wasn't much since he had given most of the work to Ares, but as he worked, he became increasingly aware of how empty he felt without Adamas by his side.

.

.

.

It's nighttime, and Zeus is ready to go into his slumber. Before falling asleep, he said, "Hope I can meet with Adamas today."

.

.

.

Little Zeus lay his head on his brother's lap in a dream. A gentle brushing of his hair calmed and pampered him. Zeus misses this feeling of being treated nicely by this brother.

Suddenly, the memories of his previous dreams surged back into his mind. Slowly, he opens up his mouth. He wants to banish those feelings.

"Adamas, I'm sorry," Zeus said, feeling remorseful and guilty.

Adamas just hummed in response, not saying anything.

"Brother, I'm really sorry."

"Yeah, yeah.. just rest," Adamas softly reassured him.

Zeus sprung up from Adamas's lap, looking straight into his golden eyes.

"Between me and Poseidon, which one do you love more?" Zeus asked seriously.

Adamas tilted his head, confused. "What's the sudden question?"

Zeus insisted, "Answer me."

"Hmm", Adamas squished both of Zeus's cheeks. "If I had to choose, I probably love you more," he said, teasing Zeus with his response.

Zeus's face brightened as he heard his brother's answer. "Really? Really? Really!" And so, he hugged Adamas tightly.

"Yes," Adamas smiled, "I love you the most, Zeus."

Zeus wiped his face repeatedly on Adamas's chest, joy…

"But I wonder. Do you hate me, Zeus?" Adamas question caught Zeus off guard.

Zeus looked up only to realize his brother was no longer with him.

Now, a grown-up Zeus kneels while his hand hangs in the air, holding nothing.

"Brother?"

Zeus looked around and saw that he was alone.

His surroundings were utterly silent.

And there was no sign of his brother Adamas.

He began calling out Adamas and looking all over the white void he was in.

Adamas is gone.

Wait… Ah, this is just a dream.

There's no need to be worried about it. Zeus crossed his arms and pondered.

This is just a dream; Adamas will come home sooner or later. Yes. He just needs to wait patiently.

It's not like he can't meet Adamas in reality…

Doubt

.

Right?

.

.

Zeus let out a soft sigh as he slowly opened up his eyes. Escaping himself from the dream. These times, he remembered almost all the details.

His heart felt heavy. "What do you mean by me hating you?"

Zeus could not deny the growing sensation of a gaping hole left by Adamas's absence. The dream he was having recently is his only salvation to gain his brother's affection…but that last question bothered him so badly.

He sat at the corner of his bed and closed his eyes, telling himself, "It's just a dream, it's just a dream."

But

Fear and,

Doubt

Tormented him.

.

.

.

Eating him up slowly.

"About time to sow that seed of thought in your mind, Zeus," Morpheus said bitterly.

His plan was simple: the dreams he bestowed upon Zeus were meant to make him yearn and depend on Adamas for support and comfort.

Morpheus wanted Zeus to feel alone and could not rely on himself. He wanted Zeus to feel lost and confused, unable to cope without Adamas.

It's party time.

_____________________________________________________________

"Zeus-sama, there's something I-," Hermes said, trying to catch Zeus's attention. But Zeus waved him off and moved on, wanting to get some sleep.

Recently, Zeus never missed his sleep schedule, even though he often fooled around during the night. He had chosen to rest, which was good because that meant that Pantheon wouldn't witness Hera's wrath again.

Zeus admitted that he enjoyed the love he felt in his dreams with Adamas. He missed the days when Adamas pampered him during his childhood. Call him a masochist, but Zeus would rather hear Adamas's nagging than Hera's outburst daily.

.

.

Today's dream Zeus had was different, he was surrounded by many gods instead of being greeted by Adamas.

Zeus couldn't help but feel confused and overwhelmed. "Odd...why are there so many people around here?" he thought, and he could hear whispers. Why does his heart feel hurt?

He saw his brother holding a single piece of paper, reading at it attentively.

"Oh, Zeus, you're here," Adamas said, suddenly facing him. The Adamas he hadn't seen since…wait, when was the last Zeus met him again in this version?

"You know about the meeting before-"Zeus tried to focus on Adamas's words, but the voices and buzz surrounding him made it difficult to hear or understand what Adamas was saying.

When Zeus noticed that all the other gods were circling them, it was distracting, but Adamas still talked to him as if nothing was wrong.

Zeus's irritation grew as he felt a pain in his heart. What was it, he wondered. He looked around angrily, hoping the crowd would disperse, but they didn't.

"Leave!" Zeus commanded, But the chatter only grew louder.

Zeus started to feel overwhelmed, and his irritation turned into anger and frustration. He wanted to be alone with Adamas without dealing with a crowd of people around them.

Zeus listened carefully to the voices around him and suddenly felt his heart stop. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Hey, isn't that the Poseidon-obsessed freak?" someone laughed.

"Ahh, why is he so...undesirable?"

"Is he really a god? His face looks more like a titan."

"A defective god."

Zeus was stunned. He scanned everyone around him and finally realized the words were coming from Zeus's rumours that he spread long ago. His eyes landed on Adamas standing before him, still talking.

Stress …

Self-consciousness…

Embarrassed…

Sadness....

The unfamiliar feeling surges inside Zeus…

"Adamas", Zeus called softly.

"Hmm"

"Is this how you feel all this time?" he asks carefully.

Adamas just stand there silently.

“Adamas,” No response.

.

In a flash of memories, Zeus could see his older brother alone and cornered by the others.

Zeus didn't realize how severe the rumours caused upon Adamas…Zeus didn't know how much his brother's reputation had been tarnished and damaged because of him...

.

No.. No…no.. This is not what I wanted.

The chattering is not stopping. The deities are still insulting his beloved brother in front of him. The veins on Zeus's head started to pop as he lost his temper. How dare they insult Adamas in front of him?

IN FRONT OF THE KING OF GODS?!!

“SILENCE YOU IMBECILE!”

Like a spell, everyone around them is gone. Leaving both of them together alone. Surrounded by the white void.

Silence

Adamas, who stood three feet away from him.

Looking at Zeus with disappointment.

"You actually hate me, right?"

No…

No..

Not again...

"I wonder….Do you enjoy hurting me that much?" Adamas asked sadly.

.

.

Please… Don't look at me like that.....

.

.

GASP

Zeus wakes up.

Zeus's mood was terrible again that day. He hated himself for not noticing the severity of the rumours he hac caused. He felt stupid. Zeus's mind kept drifting back to the vague memories of the nightmares. He couldn't shake the feeling one feeling...

Guilty

He needs to apologize and make things straight

Zeus's heart is relentless. Why haven't Adamas come back to him?

.

.

Zeus made his way to the underworld, arriving at Hades's realm.

"Oh, my! What can I do for you, my brother?" Hades welcomed Zeus, surprised at his visit to his throne chamber.

"Do you know where Adamas is? Did he hide here? If yes just said yes, I would not disturb him. Do you know where he is? Ah, I already ask that first…I wish to talk with Adamas. Poseidon told me they had a fight, but he didn't come back yet," Zeus said with a lengthy explanation.

Hades was bewildered for a moment after Zeus's out-of-character behaviour.

"I'm sorry, brother, but he didn't come by here, nor have I seen him since our meeting a couple of months ago." Hades said truthfully.

"Really????" doubting Hades' statement.

"Yes, really," Hades said, lifting an eyebrow with a bit of a dare in his expression as Zeus doubted his words.

Zeus couldn't understand why Adamas hadn't come to see him or Hades. He always went to either of them when he had trouble.

But where is he now? And why didn't he come to them yet?

"I don't doubt you, big bro, ~," Zeus said, noticing the deadpanned look on his eldest brother's face. "Well then, I'll be going now," Zeus said, slightly disappointed.

As Adamas's absence became more prolonged and more painful for Zeus to wait, his dreams about Adamas grew more frequent.

Time passed, and Zeus's dreams of Adamas became his refuge. They were the only place he could escape to see his brother again and remember their happier times together.

Even if it was just a dream, it gave Zeus comfort and peace.

But despite all of the good memories, Zeus hated how his dreams always ended, with Adamas looking at him disapprovingly.

Don't look at me like that.....

Zeus hated that the dreams would always end up with Adamas being disappointed in him.

Zeus hates the way his heart wavers.

.

.

.

Another peaceful day in the Greek Pantheon, Zeus is racking his brain to find Adamas's whereabouts but to no avail. And it started to annoy him, and Poseidon's raging seas didn't help improve his already irritated mood. "Can't that perfect god fix his rotten temper first?" he sighed bitterly at the other God's request to calm the God of the sea.

"Hermes!" How come Zeus, is so stupid he's the one who asked Hermes to help Adamas in rebellion. He should know something.

"Yes, Lord Zeus?" Hermes popped out of nowhere.

"Hermes, yeah, you, do you know where Adamas is?" Zeus asked exasperatedly.

Hermes started fidgeting with his fingers and looked down, not wanting to meet Zeus's gaze.

"He's not at the underworld?" Hermes asked timidly.

"Already asked Hades about it,"

"Even his soul," Hermes asked again, looking at his father's eyes desperately.

"Yea- wait, what do you mean by 'Even his soul?" Zeus's face turned serious.

Hermes opened up his mouth, "Actually, Adamas is-"

Hermes explained what had happened during Poseidon's and Adamas's meeting. He explained how Adamas had been left with brutal wounds and then vanished. How Hermes had tried to find any trace of Adamas's body. He wanted to tell Adamas about his demise with someone but couldn't find a way to confess.

Since Adamas's name and presence had been erased from Olympus's records, it had become more difficult for Hermes to track down any clues about his beloved uncle's whereabouts.

Silence…

The atmosphere in the room was heavy.

No one was speaking,

but the tension was overwhelming.

The sound of thunder in the sky could be heard.

His mood darkened by the news Hermes had just shared.

WHAM

Zeus punched the wall beside Hermes, causing a massive crater beside him.

Ah, now Zeus understands…

After what he had heard, Zeus was now convinced that

Adamas was no longer—

Zeus faced turned sorrow by the thought.

He looked at Hermes, his voice laced with anger.

"Get out"

Hermes quickly wiped his tears, trembling at his father's sudden coldness. He quickly left. Leaving Zeus alone with his turmoil.

.

.

.

Adamas…

Is…

DEAD

.

.

.

Zeus stormed off to confront Poseidon, the King King of the sea.

"ADAMAS IS GONE!! DEAD!! AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!" Zeus screamed in despair towards Poseidon.

The audacity of this tyrant. First, Poseidon request to erased Adamas from the record and then refuses to believe that he killed his ownflesh and blood. OUR OWN OLDER BROTHER??

Poseidon is not worthy….

Now why the fuck is this tyrant showing that kind of expression, huh? Denial and guilt? Disgusting…Disgusting …

That was the most disgusting expression that Poseidon ever displayed in front of Zeus.

How dare Poseidon show any sort of guilt and denial after causing Adamas's death?

"What's that face you're making, you bastard?" Poseidon's face only added to Zeus's anger.

"Are you happy for killing our brother?" His voice was laced with anger and sorrow as he looked at Poseidon, whose face reflected his guilt and denial.

 Not worthy….

"Are you satisfied taking his life? To show how mighty you are?" Zeus was disappointed that Poseidon had taken Adamas's life just to show his power and superiority of his perfection philosophy.

That damn tyrant of the sea kept his mouth shut, which fueled Zeus's anger more.

'Ah…You sure are a tyrant, brother.'

His burning rage and wrath consumed Zeus, and he had lost himself completely. All he saw was red as he punched Poseidon square in the face. Everything is a blur for him. Zeus doesn't know what he was doing anymore. One thing that kept his mind straight was one goal:

Zeus wants to murder the God of the Sea.

Zeus's anger had overtaken him completely, pushing him to the edge of madness.

Soon, the fight between Zeus and Poseidon started to become more and more fierce. Lightning bolts and water waves were flying back and forth, causing havoc throughout the heavens, trembling in fear. The other gods were too afraid to interfere in this battle.

Nobody could stop them….

Nobody….

Ah, but there is actually one God in heaven that can stop them!

Oh yeah? Who is it

The God of Conquest

Eh really! Let's call Lord Adamas, then!

.

Ah

.

.

He's dead, remember?

.

.

As the fight progressed, the clash of power became increasingly violent. Didn't show any sign of stopping. It was as if Zeus and Poseidon were unleashing their pent-up anger and frustrations onto each other through this fight. Not holding anything back.

Zeus was annoyed by Poseidon's agility, but he didn't care. Zeus wants to pummel that damn tyrant to the ground. He wanted the sea god to feel his pain and taste each of the strikes he hurled at Poseidon.

Zeus wanted Poseidon to suffer for taking away Adamas…His brother from him! Poseidon took everything from Adamas from him.

Time…

.

Like a leech taking all of Adamas's times

.

Attention…

.

Yet you ignore him...You don't deserve that….

.

Affection…

.

You're not worth it.

.

Love…

.

You're not worth for his love.

.

His life

"You took everything away from me, Poseidon."

Zeus had lost his beloved older brother, and it was all Poseidon's fault….

Hades eventually stepped in to stop the battle between Zeus and Poseidon, but Zeus was too blinded by rage to care. He didn't fucking listen to Hades' words properly anymore, not caring about what the God of the underworld said.

Red

Zeus wanted to punch Poseidon's face again and again and again.

Red

Zeus just wanted to make the God of the sea pay for what he did to Adamas and what he took away from him.

Poseidon had let down his guard, and Zeus could see the denial and guilt on his face.

Zeus clenched his fist, ready to unleash the move known as "The Fist That Surpassed Time."'. That move still needs to be completed. Zeus didn't care about the aftermath consequences as he dashed forward while roaring anger towards Poseidon.

RED

"IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, POSEIDON!"

but

suddenly

Everything turns black.

.

..

Zeus was hurt to his core after learning of Adamas's death. He hated Hades for giving him more work, and he hated Poseidon the most…. for killing his brother. Adamas was his only brother, the only one who understood him most in the whole realm of gods.

Although Zeus's anger still consumed him, he managed to finish all the tasks in less than a week, working quickly and efficiently. That was a shock.

Zeus resented that he was forbidden to leave his palace after completing his tasks. He wanted to meet with Poseidon and bash the shit out of that face. Sigh.

Zeus could take down any enemies before him. He felt no fear and no remorse for his actions. He was the strongest, most brash and non-merciful. And he was the King of the gods.

Yet... he only fears one thing.

He hated it … and it was.

Adamas eyes

No.. not the kind, loving, caring or even annoyed, but..

Adamas disappointed look

It caused Zeus to feel anxious... He can feel a knife slicing his ego. He was scared.

Zeus was scared...

Scared the constant disapproval will make his brother hates him for his actions. Leaving him like Hades, very far away and never coming back...

And in reality, Adamas is truly gone...

Dead….

Adamas was no longer here...

Because...

Poseidon killed him.

That tyrant took my brother's life away from me.

Anger seeped inside him.

.

.

.

Shaking his head, he decided to take a nap. To kill his free time before he could get out of the palace.

Maybe he would be lucky and see Adamas in his dreams, even if it was a trick and lie by the God of dreams. Zeus didn't care. He just wanted to feel like Adamas was there with him again, even if it was only a moment.

Zeus opened his eyes slowly, finding himself inside the dream. He looked around at his surroundings but felt his mood sour quickly when he realized he was still trapped inside the palace. Seriously?? Even in dreams, he doesn't have freedom.

Zeus walked around the hallways, and as he rounded the corner, he stopped in his tracks. Zeus's heart stopped when he saw his brother Adamas.

Adamas was seated by the hallway windowsill, looking different than before. He had let down his hair and was wearing simple tunic clothes with no cape on his shoulders.

Zeus walked toward Admas, who was idling at the edge of the window.

"Zeus?" Adamas looked up and spoke Zeus's name to get his attention.

Zeus didn't realize he was towering over Adamas, and he kneeled. Something took over him,

and Zeus kissed Adamas forcefully on his lips.

Adamas pushed away from Zeus and stood up against the wall. He was stunned by Zeus's actions. He was mortified. "Zeus, what the fuck are you doing!" Adamas yelled at Zeus, his voice filled with shock and emotion. "What are you thinking... I'm your brother!"

"I want you, brother. You know how much I miss you? I can't describe how hurt I am. I need you. I want you... I miss you." Zeus slid down Adamas's tunic, pushing his brother onto the floor and kissing him. Zeus gave in to their lust, letting his intense sadness and longing control him. Zeus slowly slips into depravity for his brother.

"Zeus… please stop!"

GASP

Zeus is wide awake after having an intense and passionate dream that he had.

Zeus sat up on his bed and looked at his body as he saw the evidence of his lust,

his raging boner.

Guilt and shame washed over him as he slowly sank back down onto his bed.

"I'm so messed up right now..."

.

.

But he couldn't deny his pleasure and how real it all felt in the dream.

Morpheus felt deeply traumatized by what he had just witnessed. "I don't know he's that bad..."…Morpheus can't even intervene in the dream …..

"Did I break him???" Morpheus had no desire to understand what was going on in Zeus's mind anymore.

Nightmare…..was traumatized…

_____________________________________________________________

Zeus still cannot accept the fact that Adamas is gone.

Zeus missed his brother deeply.

Zeus tried to do his daily tasks and work as best he could, but he was constantly haunted by thoughts and memories of Adamas.

Zeus tried to sleep at night, hoping to see Adamas in his dreams again, but the dream never came.

Did Adamas leave him?

Zeus missed his brother, but his usual nightmares or dream routine disappeared. Zeus's only string of salvation.

Zeus's mind and heart were consumed by fear and doubt.

Did Adamas leave him because he was disappointed in Zeus? Was it because Adamas hated him now for what he had done in the dream?

No, Zeus couldn't believe that. He needed to see his brother again!

It was a desperate attempt, but Zeus decided to go to the ruined abode at the edge of Olympus. He hoped to find something there that could help him, something that could trigger any dream and memory about Adamas.

Zeus walked around Adamas's ruined abode, taking in the destruction that seemed to be caused by an attempt to destroy everything after the announcement erasing Adamas from the record. Zeus looked around the palace, noticing how minimalist yet luxurious it was in comparison to Zeus's own ornate and luxurious residence.

He never paid much attention to how Adamas's palace was decorated, but something felt familiar…

A hint of nostalgia hit Zeus. He realized that the design of Adamas's quarters was similar to the one they had had during their childhood.

This brought a flood of memories for Zeus. At that moment, a wave of pain and grief hit Zeus as he was reminded of the good times he had spent with his brothers. Zeus was overwhelmed as he realized how alone his brother must have felt in this palace.

Zeus reached the end of the palace and found a garden with some wilted plants and some that grew wildly. It was serene and beautiful, even in its current state.

Zeus felt the familiar faint magic of Adamas surrounding the garden, touching his heart deeply.

Zeus proceeded to walk; as he was about to walk past a gazebo, a red colour caught Zeus's eye on the patio table; his heart almost burst as he looked carefully. It was just a red flower.

"Of course, there's no way Adamas is here," he thinks.

But Zeus can't help but look at that red flower and feel a small glimmer of hope and belief that his brother would be waiting for him.

Zeus moves closer to the patio table, noticing it is a pot of red peony flowers and still has a faint magic of Adamas's powers, keeping the flower fresh. He gently tugged the petal and sniffed it. Soothing.

Zeus almost forgot why he had come here in the first place. There is a comfy sofa covered with fallen leaves at the gazebo where he's currently standing. Sweep it off lazily and climb onto the couch, trying to find a comfortable sleeping position. Before he closed his eyes, he glanced at the peony flower and then closed his eyes, finally giving in to sleep and ready for his dreams once more.

Morpheus sighed in frustration and exasperation. "I think one more push wouldn't hurt," he said to himself,

_____________________________________________________________

Snip snip snip

Zeus opened his eyes, still in the same garden, but everything looked fresh and new. He glanced around to find the source of the sound. There, he saw the God that he desperately wanted to meet. Tending the flower at the side of the arch. His brother does not acknowledge his presence and continues managing it without care.

Zeus couldn't believe his eyes. His brother was here, and he felt a rush of joy and hope flood his heart and mind.

"Brother..." Zeus called out to his brother softly and then went to him. He hugged Adamas from behind. Zeus knew this was just a dream and wasn't sure if it was his brother, but he didn't care then. He just felt so happy to see Adamas again.

Adamas halts his action; he lifts up and looks at Zeus's eyes. "Zeus," he said softly.

Zeus's heart was joyful by Adamas's voice. Zeus wrapped his arms around Adamas tighter, holding him close. "I miss you so much," Zeus whispered.

"Really? You're the one who hasn't visited me," Adamas said.

Zeus looked up in dismay and sighed.

"No, brother, I tried," Zeus spoke solemnly, closing his eyes briefly as he remembered how he had tried to visit Adamas in his dreams and failed.

Zeus opens his eyes again; Adamas is gone from his embrace; he looks up frantically to find Adamas.

Now, Adamas walk straight to the path in front of the gazebo. Fearing to lose him again, Zeus ran toward his brother and took hold of his hand. He said, "Brother, I have something to confess."

"What is it?"

“about…. everything”

Zeus stood before Adamas with his head hung low, his heart pounding as he tried to gather his thoughts.

Suddenly, he felt a feathery touch on his face. Adamas was caressing him, his touch so gentle and soothing. Zeus looked up at Adamas and slowly took a deep breath.

Adamas smiled faintly at him, and Zeus saw the genuine kindness and patience in his eyes.

"It's okay, take your time," Adamas said reassuringly.

Zeus took a deep breath and began to speak. "I never hated you, brother. I love you, and I'm sorry for not treating you properly. "

"I want your attention so bad, but I don't know how to get across you normally. We're an adult now, dammit. I was jealous of Poseidon and how you always tried to win his attention; I hated it so much... I hate it."

Zeus swallowed his pride and continued to speak honestly from his heart.

"I wanted your attention so badly, brother. I'm here, too. Do you see me?"

"Yes, I see you, Zeus," Adamas replied.

"I'm sorry, brother, for spreading rumours about you that nearly made you disliked among the pantheons. I didn't notice how wounded your heart has been. I'm sorry for what I did. I just wanted you to rely on me more."

"Brother, are you mad that I took the throne in heaven? Is that the reason why you rebelled against me? If you did, I'm sorry to have hurt you. I really wish that you had come and nagged me like before."

"I'm so happy that you want to raise rebellion against me, and I –"Zeus's words were interrupted as Adamas put his finger on his lips. "My little brother, do you really mean every single word you say?" Adamas asked his expression and tone of voice filled with sadness.

Zeus took both of Adamas's hands and held them tightly. "Yes, brother, I meant it," he said earnestly. "I really meant it, brother." Tears started to threaten to fall from his eyes.

"I thought you despised me all these times, Zeus," came the broken reply from Adamas.

Zeus shook his head furiously and kneeled before Adamas. He still held Adamas's hand firmly in his own.

"I'm so sorry, brother, for everything I have done."

"It hurts, you know," Adamas said.

Zeus's eyes widened. "I know that I hurt you badly. I will fix it immediately and retract every bad word I said about you at the Pantheon. Please, Adamas, come back to me."

Zeus felt his brother's hand cup his head.

"Words cannot be taken back so easily, Zeus," Adamas said softly.

"I'm a king of gods! Who dares to defy and retract my statement, Adamas?" said Zeus, desperate to keep his brother by his side.

He buried his face in Adamas's torso and begged him, "Please forgive me, brother. Please don't leave me anymore."

Zeus fears letting go of his brother's body, and he is scared to look at what kind of expression his brother has made.

"If I forgive you, what do I get Zeus?" Adamas asked.

"Everything!" Zeus said passionately. "I can give you everything you want. Just please, don't leave me!"

"Very well, Zeus," Adamas said in a gentle tone.

Zeus's grip loosened, and he reluctantly let Adamas go. Adamas started walking back to the gazebo to think things over. He held on to the peony close to his chest.

Zeus was distraught as he stood still in silence, looking at Adamas. He was willing to do anything to keep Adamas by his side.

"Do you feel any remorse for erasing my existence?"

Zeus was taken aback by the question.

"Poseidon asked me for it."

"You could have ignored him," Adamas replied.

"But-"

"Do you feel ashamed for everything you have done to me?"

 "I'll—"

"Do you enjoy tormenting me?"

"No-"

"You want me to forgive you, am I right?

Zeus hesitated in answering Adamas's questions, his head spinning from the bombardment of queries.

Zeus can only nod weakly.

"Oh, my dearest little brother," Adamas smiled again; he hugged Zeus gently inside his warm embrace.

"I forgive you," Adamas whispered.

Zeus was overcome with happiness and relief to hear his brother's words. Zeus closed his eyes blissfully.

However, he felt a surge of shock and pain when he realized Adamas had stabbed his heart.

Even as the blood trickled down his mouth, Adamas still smiled, and Zeus could feel his brother's hatred.

"But I hate you, Zeus,"

Everything around Zeus and Adamas started to crumble, and the world around them turned into a white void. Adamas step back as Zeus slumps down on his knee.

Zeus felt the dread creeping in as he realized the dagger was not what had caused him so much pain. It was the realization that his brother hated him.

"No, no, no, no," came the broken voice from Zeus as the pain and anxiety filled him.

Adamas was supposed to care and love him…

Not hating him.

Zeus trembled, covering his ears as he tried to block the voices around him. He could hear people talking bad about him, accompanied by reassurance from Adamas.

"Pathetic," Kronos's voice sneered from the distance.

Zeus looks up, breathing heavily while holding his bloodied chest.

His eyes landed on one God, but not just any god.

His beloved brother, Adamas.

How could he be so blind…. All this time...Adamas had always cared for and protected him from the others, but all Zeus ever offered his brother was deception…. He is no different than Poseidon.

Olympus was covered in clouds that day, and the rain started falling. At first, the humans were joyful at the sight of the rain, as it had been long since it rained. However, after some time, the clouds made it difficult for them to work in the fields and do any harvesting.

Hermes and Ares entered the room where Zeus was, and they quickly bowed down before the King of the gods. The air is heavy inside the room.

Dark and suffocating.

"Zeus-sama, the council is begging you to stop the rain. The mortals realm couldn't handle it anymore," Hermes said, his voice fearful of Zeus's reaction.

"Yeah, yeah, I will," Zeus said absentmindedly while waving his ambrosia glass.

"Father," Ares said, sadness in his voice.

"Just a moment," Zeus said again, still drunk out of his mind and drowning in guilt...
