"Alexis Ness is God."

Summary:

"Oh, that's right. Ness was never a person now, was he? Ness is omnipresent, existing everywhere. Ness watches quietly, seeing everything. Right! Alexis Ness is God."

The God smiled.

Kaiser reached his hand up to the sky. Feeling a sense of awe, Kaiser marveled at the vastness of the universe above him. The God he craved to understand seemed to be right there, in that very moment, smiling down at him. The realization of Ness's infinite presence filled Kaiser with a profound sense of peace and maybe wonder.

Chapter 1: -1-

Chapter Text

The sun blazed in the sky, casting a warm glow on Kaiser’s pale skin as he strolled across the street. With his headphones snugly tucked in and his hoodie pulled low over his brow, he swayed to the infectious beat of his favorite song. Each step felt lighter as he immersed himself in the music, the world around him fading away, leaving only the vibrant rhythm to guide his movements.

Oblivious to the bustling city around him, Kaiser's mind wandered to a world of melodies and lyrics that provided solace from the chaos of everyday life.  Kaiser bathed in the attention of others; he loved how many stares he got from passersby. It boosted his ego. He relished the feeling of being noticed and admired. With each gaze, Kaiser felt a sense of validation and confidence, fueling his desire to stand out even more in the crowd.

Though one thing he couldn't overcome was soccer, the world of soccer was always changing, with new players with different backgrounds and playing styles. Of course, Kaiser didn't care about these new players; after all, his goal was to crush them. He thrived on the competition and the opportunity to showcase his skills on the field. The thought of outperforming his opponents and leaving them in awe motivated him to train harder and push himself beyond his limits.

As he walked to the park in which he'd be training, something odd caught his eye. Was that a new player? A young man, not very tall or muscular. He had pale skin and... magenta eyes? Kaiser couldn't help but be intrigued by the newcomer's unique appearance. He wondered if this player possessed some hidden talent or technique that could potentially challenge his own abilities.

Interesting? That was new. Kaiser chuckled to himself before walking onto the field. As he watched the newcomer's graceful movements on the field, Kaiser couldn't help but notice a certain air of confidence that emanated from him. It was clear that this player had more to offer than just his striking appearance. Intrigued by the combination of physical prowess and mysterious allure, Kaiser eagerly anticipated the upcoming match, wondering how this encounter would unfold.

"You're late," muttered a tall man with eye bags and light hair. He glared at his coach, his tone dripping with annoyance.  Kaiser simply shrugged, unperturbed by the man's comment.

Noel Noa.

God, how Kaiser hated that guy! He was too old to play soccer. Kaiser believed that he'd break his back just kicking the ball, but so is so.

He glanced to his right and saw his teammates crowding around someone. Curiosity piqued, Kaiser approached the group to see what was going on. As he got closer, he realized they were huddled around a new player, a young and talented one at most. The new player was impressing everyone with their skill and agility, effortlessly dribbling the ball past defenders.

Kaiser couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy, realizing that this young talent might just steal his position on the team. That was new; normally they'd be crowding around him. Kaiser had always been the star player, the one who commanded attention on the field. But now, it seemed like all eyes were on this newcomer, leaving him feeling somewhat overlooked and overshadowed. This pissed him off.

"Noa, who's that?"

"You address me as Coach Noa, Kaiser" he replied.

Kaiser rolled his eyes, waiting for a response.

Noa sighed. "Alexis Ness. He'll be on the team for the time being."

Kaiser shrugged and pushed through his teammates to get a glimpse of this 'Alexis Ness'. Suddenly, his heart jumped into his throat. Kaiser stood a few steps away, captivated by the boy before him. The way Alexis's magenta eyes shimmered with uncertainty drew Kaiser in, contrasting beautifully with his pale skin and tousled light brown hair.

In that moment, the bustling crowd around them faded into a blur, leaving just the two of them locked in a silent dialogue of curiosity and intrigue. He felt an inexplicable urge to know more about the boy who wore his embarrassment like a delicate mask. There was something enchanting about Alexis’s quiet demeanor that spoke of depths yet to be explored. Kaiser found himself imagining what secrets lay beneath that subtle exterior

Kaiser couldn't help but be struck by Alexis. Those doe-like eyes were bewitching, drawing him in deeper with every glance. The sunlight danced across his features, illuminating him in a way that made him look almost celestial. Kaiser was entranced, unable to peel his eyes away from the physical allure that radiated from Alexis.

But beneath that enchantment, a wave of unease washed over him.

Disgust.

Kaiser felt his stomach twist into knots. This boy was a rival—a competitor in every sense. The thought was unbearable. He couldn’t tolerate the idea of rivalry, especially from someone so captivating.

"Everyone line up. You'll be going against another team by the name of the Ivy League."

Kaiser rolled his eyes. He had more important things to worry about than a stupid, mediocre team. As the competition began, Kaiser's confidence soared. He knew he was superior and had no doubt that his team would come out on top.

He couldn't help but smirk at the thought of crushing the Ivy League team effortlessly. Noa was spending his sweet time talking to the coach of the other team when the match started.

Kaiser did what he always did.

Study and surpass everyone on the field. He viewed them all as mere peasants. Slaves that lick his feet.  The world revolved around Kaiser, and he was clearly God's favorite. He was gorgeous and intelligent.  They didn't call him God's chosen emperor for no reason. He dribbled past many players.  His skill and agility were unmatched, leaving his opponents in awe. The crowd erupted in cheers as he effortlessly weaved through the defense, showcasing his dominance on the field. All he had to do now was aim and proceed with Kaiser’s impac—

What?

That same boy with the magenta hair had stolen the ball from him. Had taken his fucking goal?

Kaiser felt his blood vessel pop! He chewed his nails as he watched Ness celebrate his unexpected steal. The boy's audacity and quick reflexes were astonishing, and Kaiser couldn't help but feel a mix of admiration and frustration.

Despite the setback, he knew he had to regroup quickly if he wanted to maintain his reputation as an unstoppable force on the field. They continued the game, and Kaiser upped his game, determined to prove that he was not to be underestimated.

With every move, he showcased his skill and agility, leaving his opponents in awe. As the game progressed, Kaiser's determination grew stronger, fueled by the desire to reclaim his stolen goal and show everyone why he was the true champion of the field.

During the game, he glanced at Ness, confused that all the attention was on him.

Why wasn't Ness in awe?

Ness was unfazed by Kaiser's performance. With a calm demeanor, he analyzed Kaiser's every move, ready to counter with his own strategic plays. It was clear that Ness saw beyond the flashy display of skill and recognized the true essence of the game: teamwork and intelligence.

After a few minutes, Ness and Kaiser were at each other's necks. Their rivalry intensified as they traded blows, each showcasing their own unique style and technique. The crowd watched in anticipation, witnessing a battle of wits and skill that would determine the ultimate victor of the field.

Kaiser sneered at Ness. His blood boiled because someone wasn't appreciating his individual talent. He decided that Ness had to be simply a God. Only God himself could be as good or better than Kaiser himself. He wondered how he could sabotage a God. As Kaiser pondered his plan to sabotage Ness, he realized that maybe he could use his charms to manipulate Ness.

Turn God into his slave.

The game was over now; almost every soul on the field had left. Ness stayed, watching the sun begin to set and appreciating nature and the soothing world around him.

What a bitter sign of weakness! Kaiser scoffed at the sight, feeling a surge of anger and determination. He vowed to exploit Ness's vulnerability and use it against him in his plan for sabotage. In fact, He'd do it now! He felt his lungs fill with sharp and vengeful determination as he approached Ness. Ness, who was blind to what he was going to do,

"Hello. Are you Alexis?" He asked, sitting next to the boy as he brushed a strain of his blonde hair behind his ear.

Ness jumped, giggled, and looked at him.

"Y-Yes! I'm Alexis. Good game today."

The boy forced a smile on his face. Kaiser fought the urge to laugh at Ness.

Gross, he’s really putting in the effort to act like everyone else. It’s almost pathetic. Kaiser clenched his fists, a wave of superiority washing over him as he watched Ness squirm.

The desperation for acceptance was written all over his face, and it made Kaiser feel sick with a twisted sense of power. How sad that someone would bend so far just to fit in.

“Thanks, Alexis. You played well,” he said, locking his gaze onto the boy’s delicate magenta eyes.

Those eyes—so soft, almost mesmerizing.

His eyes were so welcoming, which had to be normal for a God.

Kaiser's mind raced with conflicting emotions as he continued to stare into Ness's eyes. He couldn't deny the strange pull he felt toward him, despite his initial disdain. Perhaps there was more to this boy than met the eye.  He saw the red spread across Ness's face as he tried to laugh it off.

It was disturbing.

The way his skin was so bright The way his laugh was so accepting Kaiser hated all of it. He wanted to choke the innocence out of the God. But deep down, Kaiser couldn't help but feel a sense of envy. Ness possessed a purity and joy that seemed foreign to him, a stark contrast to his own jaded and bitter outlook on life. He wanted to devour the pure idea of goodness that Ness represented. It was a sickening thought, but Kaiser couldn't help but be drawn to it.

"You're very pretty," muttered Ness.

Kaiser's heart skipped a beat at the unexpected compliment. It was as if Ness had unknowingly tapped into his deepest desire for validation and acceptance. A mix of conflicting emotions swirled within Kaiser, making him question his own motives and the darkness that resided within him.

"Thank you." Kaiser responded softly, his voice barely audible.

He couldn't deny the surge of pleasure that washed over him upon hearing Ness's words.

"You seem shy," Kaiser said. "I can fix that."

Ness's eyes sparkled with intrigue as he leaned in closer.

"How?" Ness asked.

Kaiser didn't know how or why, but he pressed his lips against the others.

Ness's lips were smooth.

Sweet and gentle.

Intoxicating.

The more he leaned into the kiss, the more his reasoning left.

The more conflicted he was.

His idea wasn't working. He pulled away, looking into Ness's eyes.

Ness grinned. A grin that made Kaiser want to rip his skin off his body and climb out of the bare flesh and into Ness. He wanted to be one with God. He wanted to live inside Ness. A caterpillar crawling into a cocoon. He wanted to dig his nails so deep into his skin that he couldn't physically pull them out.

Ness had to be God.

Only God could touch him like this.  Only God could tear him open and drink the blood and vulnerability from his rotting wounds.

As Kaiser started out on his nightly jog, the conflicting emotions inside him intensified. As he ran, the desire to merge with God and become one with Ness consumed him. The image of a caterpillar crawling into a cocoon lingered in his mind, symbolizing his longing for transformation and spiritual connection.

He couldn't take it.

Suddenly he was sweating, even in the 40-degree weather. He couldn't run anymore; his thoughts were filled with Alexis Ness. The memory of his soft touch and warm embrace overwhelmed him, causing his heart to race and his legs to weaken. The intensity of his emotions threatened to consume him entirely, leaving him feeling exposed and vulnerable.

"I need sleep." He whispered to himself. He walked into his condo and collapsed onto his bed, hoping that a good night's rest would bring some relief from the turmoil within him.  As he slept, he felt something enter his room. The scent of sage and honey filled the room as a bright light shined.

"Wake up." A soothing voice spoke, gently rousing him from his slumber. Startled yet intrigued, he opened his eyes to find a figure standing at the foot of his bed, emanating an aura of tranquility and warmth.

"Sweet boy, listen to my words." The figure's voice resonated with a sense of wisdom and guidance, instantly calming his racing thoughts. As he sat up, he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope, eager to hear what the figure had to say.

"I have come to you to enlighten you, my dear." The figure whispered. looked up and saw warm, familiar eyes. The eyes of Magenta had a glowing white shine. The figure's presence filled him with a sense of familiarity and comfort, as if they had known each other for lifetimes. Intrigued by the mesmerizing eyes, he couldn't help but wonder what wisdom this ethereal being held for him.

"What is it?" Kaiser muttered, his hands shaking.

The figure held his cheeks and kissed him.

"I need you to kill my dopplegangers."The figure let out a soft laugh, prompting Kaiser's heart to race at the touch. He found himself grappling with the request, as the words lingered in the air, laden with an unforeseen weight. A blend of apprehension and intrigue enveloped him as he contemplated the significance of this strange task.

"Kill?" Kaiser stuttered in confusion. The figure's face slowly looked clearer. It was Ness.

The figure giggled once again, and it was music to his ears.

"Silly me for not introducing myself earlier—I’m Alexis Ness!  I see what you cannot see; I hear your cries and prayers! I once walked the same path as you, gripped by fear of embracing God, hesitant to acknowledge that I embody the divine right here on Earth. Yet, when I came to understand that my presence in this physical realm held no weight, a thrilling sense of liberation swept over me! In that moment, I cast aside my fears of losing my earthly form, and a whole new world opened up before me!"

Kaiser stared with eyes of confusion. He couldn't comprehend what Alexis was saying. It was as if he was speaking a different language. The more he spoke, the more Kaiser's confusion deepened.

"You. I have chosen you. You are my chosen emperor. God's chosen Emperor, if you will. The world revolves around me. It revolves around my dreams, my body, my blood, and my tears. Every piece of me goes to the world and those who accept it. You, Michael Isn't this what you wanted all along? To become a higher being. A deity? A god?" Kaiser's mind raced as he struggled to grasp the meaning behind Alexis' words. The weight of his proclamation left him feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. He had never considered the possibility of such a grand destiny, and now faced with the opportunity, he questioned his own desires and the consequences that would follow.

"B-But Ness?" Kaiser murmured.

"What is it? Are you afraid? Afraid of accepting the existence of God? The existence of a being higher than yourself?" Ness giggled. "It's alright, Kaiser. Once you wake up, you'll have a sign. A sign that I am real. I am your God.  If you want to avoid the pain, you should believe in God. Whether you believe in God or not, I am always with you. Look at your bedside table; there should be a pair of scissors with blue handles. I doubt you'll disappoint me. If you wish to become a being like me, carve my initials into your right wrist." Ness whispered.

Kaiser's heart raced as he listened to Ness's eerie words. He couldn't help but feel a mix of fear and curiosity about the idea of a higher being. The mention of the scissors on his bedside table made him question whether this was all just a twisted dream or something more sinister.

Kaiser woke up in a cold sweat. He stared at his bedside table, and there it was. Blue scissors. He felt his skin crawl as he reached for the scissors and gripped the handles, slowly picking them up.  They were cold, unlike him. He was still warm—warm from the blankets, warm from the fear and curiosity that had consumed him moments ago. As he held the scissors, a rush of adrenaline coursed through his veins, intensifying his conflicting emotions. He couldn't help but stare in awe at the scissors. He couldn't help but think about how it would feel to press the cold metal against the softness of his skin and dig deeper until the skin starts to break and blood sheds and drips down his arm.

He stared for a moment longer before setting down the scissors and wrapping up in his blanket.

He preferred it warm.

It was around 4:30 p.m. Kaiser sat on the wooden bench alone, sipping on his water bottle. To his peers, Kaiser was like an ancient Greek emperor. God, if you will. His skin was glowing, and the red eyeliner on the corners of his eyes accentuated his looks. His presence commanded attention, and people couldn't help but be drawn to him. Kaiser exuded an air of confidence and power that made others feel inferior in comparison.

Though, whenever Ness looked at Kaiser, he was just Kaiser. He was no god, no emperor, just Kaiser. To Ness, Kaiser was shy yet arrogant. Kaiser was a person of interest. Ness admired Kaiser's unique blend of humility and self-assurance. Despite his captivating presence, Ness always treated Kaiser as an equal, fostering a genuine connection between them. Ness couldn't help but be intrigued by the enigmatic layers that made up Kaiser's personality.

Ness walked next to Kaiser and sat down.

"Kaiser." He whispered. Kaiser felt his skin heat up.

"Yes?" He responded, cringing at the sound of his own voice.

"Come to my place after training, yea?" Ness giggled, his eyes filled with false innocence.

Kaiser felt his breath hitch in his throat.

"Fine. Don't expect me to stay long." Kaiser replied, rolling his eyes.

He was good at hiding what he was feeling. His family taught him. Freedom was not a topic discussed at his house. He had to be perfect and stay perfect; otherwise, there was no point in living. Kaiser's heart sank as he thought about the suffocating expectations placed on him. He longed for a taste of freedom, a chance to escape the suffocating pressure of his family's perfectionism. But when Ness looked at him with no greed or judgment in his eyes, he felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, he could be the one to understand his desire for freedom and support him in breaking free from his family's suffocating expectations.

"Aw, you always sound so annoyed." Ness sighed, then smiled. "It'll be worth your while."

They spent the rest of the day doing soccer drills and stretching before practice was finally over. Kaiser walked into the park bathroom to change. He hated feeling sticky and sweaty after a long day of training. As he peeled off his damp jersey, he couldn't help but think about Ness. The excitement of being with him The way he felt was warmer. He didn't feel cold—well, at least not as often. Kaiser walked out of the bathroom in a white tank-top, baggy jeans, and a rhinestone belt with rose stones. He ran his fingers through his damp hair, trying to tame the unruly strands. When he walked into the field, the only person he saw was Ness.

Ness was in a black-band shirt which he covered with a grey & black flannel. He had on washed-out jeans, a black belt and spiked bracelets . Kaiser couldn't help but notice how effortlessly cool Ness looked in his outfit. The Deftones shirt he wore had seen better days, but the frayed edges and the band logo, a bit faded, told a story of countless concerts and nights out that Kaiser could only imagine. It matched Ness's multi-colored hair that reflected chaotic riffs and rebellious spirit. The flannel was unbuttoned, revealing a neckline tattoo that peeked out like a secret message to the world. Kaiser could feel his face heat up.

Was this really God?

"Are we going to your place or what?" Kaiser asked, trying to distract himself from his sudden infatuation with Ness. He couldn't deny the strong attraction he felt towards him, but he was afraid to acknowledge it out loud. Ness's cheeky smile sent a warm current through Kaiser's body, leaving him feeling both excited and apprehensive.

"Yeah, my clothes are in the trunk. Cool Rose Tat, by the way." Ness mumbled, and Kaiser could see the red on Ness's ears as he blushed. Kaiser chuckled, relieved that Ness seemed equally flustered by the situation. They got into Ness's car, the engine humming to life with a gentle purr. It was surprisingly clean and organized, not what Kaiser had expected from someone who could barely keep track of their homework.

Ness rolled down the windows, opened his glovebox, and took out a CD which was probably a mix of songs. Kaiser laid his head back as a mix of niche bands. Love on the Catwalk by Her Words Kill started playing. Kaiser rested his head against the seat as Ness hummed the lyrics. He studied Ness, his stomach turning with desire. He was a beautiful mess of a human, with his ruffled hair and smudged eyeliner. Ness had this way of wearing his emotions on his sleeve, making Kaiser want to reach out and trace every line of pain and happiness that painted him so intricately.

He couldn't stop thinking about his dream. It felt so real; everything felt overwhelmingly real. Ness was hauntingly beautiful, his smile twisted in a way that sent shivers down Kaiser's spine. He wanted to drink the blood from Ness's body. Craved to devour him up.  Limb from limb, He wanted to feel and taste Ness between his teeth. He wanted to wrap his hands around Ness's neck and squeeze until Ness was a lifeless form. He hadn’t felt this hunger in years. Years of restraint. Years of denying himself the pleasure of the kill. Years of playing by the rules, hiding in the shadows, pretending to be something he was not. But now, in this moment, with Ness right in front of him, the hunger was overwhelming. The need was undeniable.

Why was he feeling this way? These violent thoughts were unlike anything he had ever experienced before. It scared him, but at the same time, there was an undeniable thrill coursing through his veins.

"Kaiser! Kaiser, we're here." Kaiser's heart raced as he snapped out of his disturbing thoughts. He quickly composed himself, pushing the dark desires to the back of his mind, and took a deep breath before stepping out of the car.

"My mom isn't home." muttered Ness. "Almost all of my family are scientist, so they spend all day in the lab. We have one a few blocks away from here but I've never been." said Ness as he slid off his converse. "Oh! Also, I have this cool new tongue piercing. It hurt like shit for a week but it was totally worth it! What do you think?"

Ness had a rebellious glint in his eyes as he stuck out his tongue to show off the small silver stud. It was a stark contrast against his otherwise innocent features. Kaiser could feel sweat drip down his nape. He wasn’t a pervert, but he couldn’t get the idea of Ness’s tongue deep in his throat out of his head. It was disgusting and perverse yet it made him shiver with delight. Why was he having such demonic thoughts? Especially with a man!? His first flaw was kissing Ness like some freak! The second was dreaming, and now he was forced to face him with these dirty thoughts in his mind.

"I have a bunch of posters in my room." He said as they walked up the creaky oak stairs of his house. Kaiser rubbed his arm as he took in the atmosphere, which was much more accepting than his home. His house was so plain and empty, especially since he lived alone. Living with his neglectful father wasn't any better than living in a tomb.

Finally, they reached Ness’s room, and he gripped the knob to unlock the door. It was filled with posters of different nu-metal bands like Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and other bands like Weezer, My Chemical Romance and Bôa

Kaiser gazed at the posters before leaning against the wall as Ness sat back on his twin-sized bed. His room had packs of Marlboro cigarettes. A brand that Kaiser enjoyed smoking in his free time.

“Don’t you wanna sit down somewhere?” asked Ness, a chuckle escaping his lips.

Kaiser nodded and took a seat next to him, his knees touching Ness’s. He was aware of how close he was but didn’t dare move away. The tension between them was palpable. Kaiser felt his cheeks heat up. He had to say something to break the awkward silence.

“Your room is... nice.” He said, his voice barely above a whisper
.
Ness laughed. “You can say that again, Micha. I know it’s a mess, but it’s my mess and that’s what makes it homey.”

The room was indeed messy, with clothes scattered across the floor and a guitar lying in the corner. There were books and comics sprawled out over the bed and desk. It was a typical teenager's room, but it had a certain charm to it. It was alive and full of personality, unlike Kaiser’s room, which was stark, cold, and unwelcoming.

He couldn't help but take in the smell of Ness as he rested on his bed. He picked up Ness's pillow, sniffing it. Sage and honey. It smelled so pleasant. Kaiser couldn't breathe properly; he felt his stomach tighten and his heart race. He smelled just like the God in his dream. His breath hitched in his throat as he took in Ness’s scent and the way the sun shone on his tanned skin.

“Weirdo.” mumbled Ness, a wide smile spreading on his face. The way Ness smiled grossed Kaiser out, he shouldn’t have felt so warm around him.

"Shut up, Alexis." said Kaiser, "You're disgusting."

Ness's smile faltered for a quick second before returning.

"That's not nice, Micha!" Ness beamed.

Kaiser gagged at the sight. He felt guilty for being here. He had told himself that he wouldn’t get close to Ness again, not after what happened. But here he was, lying on his bed, feeling his heart throb like a bass drum.

"You're sin reincarnated." mumbled Kaiser. "You'll destroy me."

"Only if you'll let me." Muttered Ness before pulling out a bag of weed from his nightstand and rolling it into a joint. He took a lighter and lit the
end of it, inhaling deeply and then exhaling a plume of smoke into the air. Kaiser stared at him, his eyes wide and his breathing shallow.

Ness took another drag before holding the joint out to Kaiser. "Want some?"

Kaiser took it from him, his hands shaking. He brought the joint to his lips and inhaled. The smoke was thick and harsh, filling his lungs. He coughed immediately, his eyes watering.

"It's okay, take it slow," Ness said, his voice smooth like silk.

As they shared the joint, they talked about random things—school, music, life. Kaiser felt himself relaxing, the tension in his body slowly easing away. He didn't know why, but talking to Ness made him feel like he could tell him anything. Like Ness could understand him in a way no one else could.

"Who gave you this?" asked Kaiser.

"C̵̘̘̆̈́ḧ̸̠̹́̚̚i̴͇͛̒͝ǧ̸̺͓͑i̵̬͕͉͋ŗ̶̓̀̅͝i̶̬͐͝"

Kaiser swallowed hard.  "Do you have any other friends?"

" I̸͕̾͊š̷̱͙̼̯̿a̴̻̞̼͑́̐̚ġ̴̲̻̭͇̀i̴͓̘̤̊̂,̶̼͖͒̚,̵͚̠͇́̽̒͜ ̶̬̞͊͗̈́Ȓ̴̛̩͝è̸͙̻̠͖ö̴͓̰̣́̅̈̉,̸̜̇̈́ ̸̢andY̸̏̏͂ͅu̴̺͋̊̒́k̴͖͍̖͐̆͐͊i̸͕̿̏̀̍m̸͚̪̳̆i̶̮̳̮͉͑̅͊̑y̴̝̳̥͖̔a̷̝͝ "

Everything was a chaotic blur. Kaiser couldn't care less about Ness's other friends; they meant nothing to him. What gnawed at him was the unsettling truth in his gut—the stark realization that he might not hold the same significance to Ness as he once believed. Someone else had taken priority—someone he deemed dirty, disgusting, and utterly despicable. Kaiser wanted them gone.

Kaiser wanted to get rid of every single disgusting being that stepped in his way. He was the chosen one, not them. He wanted to gut them. He wanted to disembowel them. He wanted them hanged. He craved to slit their throats. Dig his nails as deep as he could into their eyes and tear until there was nothing.

He craved the satisfaction of seeing their lifeless bodies, devoid of any trace of existence. If given the chance, he would. He would show them. Show Ness. He would show everyone that he was the one who truly cared.

The room was thick with tension, palpable and suffocating. Ness, the center of it all. Ness was his God. He had visited him and promised him immortality. Why would Ness need anyone else? Kaiser felt like the universe had betrayed him. Like the very fabric of reality had torn apart to reveal that he was nothing but a human, destined to fade into the shadows.

But no, he would not let it happen. He would not allow Ness to slip through his fingers. He would do anything, be anything, to keep him close.

“Hey, Kaiser.” Ness said, inching closer to the taller man. “Wanna feel my tongue?”

Kaiser swallowed hard, his hands gripping the sheets of his mattress. Ness was such a disease, yet he couldn’t find a cure. His cock twitched in his jeans at the idea of feeling the other's tongue in his mouth. He tried to keep his expression calm, he tried to hide the curiosity he felt. The longing to feel Ness on top of him was almost suffocating.

“...Fine.” He cursed out.

Ness slid closer to Kaiser, a knowing glint in his eyes and a stupid grin on his face. He wrapped his hands around Kaiser’s face and pulled him into a soft kiss. It was innocent and immature, and for a minute, Kaiser wanted to pull away and hide.

But he didn’t. Ness slid his tongue into Kaiser’s mouth, licking deep into it. Ness pressed into Kaiser as if he was fusing with him, his knee pressing against his crotch, causing Kaiser to arch involuntarily. His hand snaked into Ness’s magenta curls and pulled, forcing Ness to cry out.

He looked down at Kaiser with Bambi eyes, a gentle yet feisty expression on his face. He smiled against Kaiser’s lips.

“Was that good for you?” Ness whispered, his voice thick with lust and amusement.

“Yeah,” Kaiser murmured, his voice gruff and unused.

“Good, because I’m not done yet,” whispered Ness against Kaiser’s ear.

They kissed again, Kaiser’s hands searching and pulling at Ness’s scalp. Ness gripped Kaiser’s face as he pushed him down against the mattress, his piercing roughly hitting against Kaiser’s teeth. Kaiser bit down on Ness’s lips. Blood mixed with their spit as Ness’s knee rutted against Kaiser’s hard-on.

A curse escaped Kaiser’s lips before Ness bit his bottom one.

"Did that hurt?" Ness whispered, the heat of his breath sending shivers down Kaiser's spine.

"No..." Kaiser managed to say, his eyes glazed over with arousal.

Ness’s hands roamed down Kaiser’s neck and shoulders, his nails scratching and digging in. He pushed Kaiser’s shirt off, revealing the disturbingly pale skin beneath. Ness took his shirt off in return, his tanned skin contrasting sharply with Kaiser’s. His pierced nipples were hard, and Kaiser couldn't help but focus on them.

Ness leaned down to kiss Kaiser’s neck, his teeth grazing the skin and leaving a trail of red marks along the way. Kaiser couldn't comprehend what was going on. Maybe he was too high to think, but it didn't matter. The pleasure was all that mattered.

He wanted to devour Ness. He wanted to lose himself in the sensation and explore every inch of Ness's body.

To Kaiser, Ness was glowing. He smelled so much like sage and honey. Kaiser's heart raced as he pressed his lips against Ness's, their bodies melting together in a passionate embrace. The intensity of their connection consumed him, leaving him yearning for more.

"You're so cool, Kaiser." He muttered, positioning himself before thrusting against Kaiser's clothed cock.

Kaiser's eyes rolled back in his head as Ness began to grind against him. The friction was exquisite, a sweet torture that made him want to die.

"You're a God, Ness." Ness's eyes sparkled with a mixture of surprise and adoration at Kaiser's words. The weight of the compliment hung in the air, solidifying their bond even further.

"God? I couldn't be a god."

Ness chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You may not realize it, but you have a power over me that feels divine." The sincerity in Ness's voice made Kaiser's heart skip a beat, deepening their connection.

"Don't expect anything important to come from this," muttered Kaiser as he twitched against Ness.

Ness looked at him with a smug smile, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"I'm not looking for something important, just something good."

And with that, Ness reached down and unbuttoned Kaiser's pants, his hand sliding in to grasp Kaiser's cock. Kaiser's eyes rolled back in his head, and he let out a low groan. Ness's hand was hot and firm, stroking him in a way that sent waves of pleasure through his body.

Their kisses grew more desperate, more needy. Kaiser could feel his climax approaching like a freight train, but he didn’t want it to end. He didn’t want Ness to ever stop touching him. Ness bit into Kaiser's shoulder,  leaving a mark.

"I need you, Kaiser." Ness’s voice was a whine, his hand moving faster.

Kaiser could feel the wetness seeping through Ness’s pants, and the urge to touch him back was overwhelming. He reached down and fumbled with the button of Ness’s jeans, finally popping it open. He slid his hand in, feeling Ness’s cock. It was hot and hard and covered in precum. He wrapped his hand around it and stroked in sync with Ness’s movements.

Their breaths grew heavier, their bodies moving faster and more erratically. Kaiser’s hand was sticky and Ness’s was tight, but they didn’t care. They were lost in the moment, in each other.

Ness’s eyes rolled back in his head as he came, painting Kaiser’s stomach with sticky white lines. Kaiser followed shortly after, his orgasm pulsing through him and leaving him gasping for air. They lay there, panting and sticky, their hearts racing.

"What are we?" asked Ness suddenly.

Kaiser felt his heart drop, his stomach turning in disgust.

Ness was a God, and he was his chosen emperor.

"Nothing," Kaiser replied, his voice devoid of emotion.

Ness looked at him, hurt flashing across his face, before he leaned in and kissed him gently.

"Okay." He whispered, his voice filled with doubt.

"God's and angels don't do this type of stuff," whispered Kaiser.

"Huh?"

"Never mind."

"Where are my pills?" Kaiser yelled frantically, searching through the cluttered nightstand. Panic surged through his veins as he realized he couldn't find his pills. The drugs made everything go away. The things that made him closer, closer, closer to his God. So close that he could still feel Ness’s hands around him. He shivered at the memory, almost aroused by it.

He remembered how Ness had supported him during his darkest moments and how their love had pulled him back from the brink. The thought of losing that connection was unbearable. Desperation filled his voice as he pleaded with himself to find those damn pills. His breathing quickened as he slammed his head against the wall.

"Shit!" He yelled, and his voice trembled.

He slid down on the floor. Suddenly, it was like everything blurred around him—everything was cold. He couldn't smell anything sweet or familiar. His senses dulled, leaving him feeling disconnected from reality. The absence of the pills intensified his anxiety, amplifying the overwhelming emptiness that now consumed him. Desperate for relief, he clutched his chest, gasping for air as panic threatened to engulf him entirely.

Tears streamed down his face as he frantically searched for any trace of the pills, his mind consumed by fear and desperation. Memories of their love surged in his mind, igniting an unyielding determination to find the missing pills—the lifeline that stood between him and the edge of chaos. With every second that ticked by, the stakes escalated, and he could feel the weight of his unraveling reality pressing down on him.

"Damn it!." He muttered. He felt the sweat dripping from his head, and his body wouldn't stop shaking.

Then he remembered his lover, Ness. The angel that floated through his room with open arms, Ness, who smelled like sage and honey, who'd always be with him, as long as he agreed to part of the contract.

In that moment, his craving for pills, for the numbing haze of drugs and alcohol, dissolved away like mist in the morning sun. He stepped into his room, his gaze fixed on the stark white sheets that lay unruffled on the bed, the pristine pillowcase catching the glow of the moonlight.

His eyes gravitated to the nightstand, where the scissors gleamed with a silver intensity, glinting like a siren's call in the quiet darkness. Without a second thought, he dashed toward them, adrenaline coursing through his veins like wildfire. A heady mix of euphoria and reckless abandon surged within him, the allure of joining Ness in the ethereal realm becoming an irresistible pull. He wrapped his fingers around the cool metal of the scissors, heart racing, ready to make a choice that would bind them together.

"Ness, Ness, Ness." He smiled softly, his voice filled with longing and desperation. He pressed the cold metal against the warmth of his wrist and pressed down, tearing the plush skin of his arm. He trembled as he took in the sight of his wrist covered in a crimson river of his own life force. The pain mingled with a strange sense of obedience, as if he were shedding the constraints of his earthly existence.

He was as obedient as the yew to the tender’s will.

The letters A and N were engraved into his flesh. He had done his part obediently, fulfilling his duty to the unknown forces that controlled his every move. As he stared at the engraved letters, a sense of both relief and sorrow washed over him, knowing that he was forever bound to this life of obedience and sacrifice.

The room around him grew dimmer, the shadows stretched out like the arms of a lover reaching for their beloved in the night. His breath grew shallow and his eyesight blurred. He felt a warmth spreading through his body, not from the blood that was escaping his veins but from the power that was filling him.

He trembled. The trembles that coursed through his body were not born out of fear but rather from the overwhelming anticipation of what awaited him beyond the boundaries of his earthly existence. It was a mixture of excitement and trepidation, for he knew that with each tremor, he was shedding another layer of his former self and stepping closer to becoming one with the unknown forces that guided him.

He felt warm, his stomach heating up.

"You'll love me, Ness, for I'm your chosen emperor. Eat me up and be full."

He turned his head suddenly as his phone started to ring. He stared at the contact name and saw 'Ness'.

"Hello?" Kaiser whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty. The voice on the other end was soft yet filled with a sense of familiarity that sent shivers down his spine.

"You're still up?" Ness whispered back, letting out a low chuckle.

"Yeah," he replied before turning on the pipe and letting water run down and wash the carvings in his arm. He reached his cabinet and took out a gauze pad. "Couldn't sleep."

"Me neither," Ness confessed, his voice barely a murmur. "I've been thinking about you."
Ness's voice was low and breathless; soft groans were heard on the other end.

"What are you doing?" Kaiser mumbled, getting into bed. Ness let out a low moan. Kaiser shuddered, his body heating up.

"Nothing...keep talking." Ness replied softly.

Kaiser hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say. He could hear Ness's soft breathing in his ear, his body filled with sweet desire. "I've been thinking about you too," he admitted, his voice thick with emotion.

Ness's breath hitched. "Tell me what you're thinking," he urged. Kaiser quivered and slid his hands down his sweats, stroking his own needy cock. He shuddered, spreading the pre-cum against his tip. His arm ached because of his fresh wound

"I'm...I'm thinking about you," he murmured, his voice growing hoarse with lust. "I can't stop thinking about what we did. You're making me weird."

"You sound so sweet." Ness whimpered over the phone. Kaiser's breath quickened as he listened to Ness's words, his desire growing stronger. The sound of Ness's voice sent shivers down his spine, fueling his arousal even more.  He could hear the sounds of Ness
stroking himself, and he bit his tongue in return.

"I miss the taste of your blood." mumbled Kaiser as he stroked himself off. "It was putrid."

"But you can't forget it, can you?" Ness whispered, his voice dripping with desire. Kaiser's heart raced at the thought, his body aching for the intimate connection they both craved. The anticipation of their bodies pressed together fueled their shared longing, intensifying the pleasure that awaited them.

"You're disgusting." cursed Kaiser, "Someone like you couldn't be my God."  He whined, bucking his hips into his fist. The pain from his wound caused more pleasure to surge through his body. The intensity of their desire was matched only by the depth of their emotional connection, making every touch and sensation between them feel like a sacred union.

"You're so cute, Kaiser. So pretty and arrogant." Ness breathed. "I want to ruin you so bad." He scrambled. Kaiser walked towards his bedroom, forcing himself on his bed as he slid his shorts down.

He licked his fingers before placing them at his warm entrance and sliding in his middle and ring fingers. The slickness of his own arousal mingled with the sting of pain, creating a heady mixture that heightened his senses. As he curled his fingers inside himself, Kaiser's moans grew louder, echoing the raw desire that consumed them both.

"What would you do?" whispered Kaiser as his fingers pressed against his prostate. He could almost feel Ness's touch, the warmth of her body against his, his teeth sinking into his skin. "Tell me."

"I'd cut you up," Ness said, his voice growing more assertive, "I'd make you beg for it. I'd show you how much I crave your blood and the look of anguish and pity that's always on your face."

The words sent a bolt of electricity through Kaiser's body. He could see it in his mind's eye: Ness standing over him, her eyes gleaming with hunger as she bound his wrists and ankles to the bedposts, leaving him helpless before her. He groaned, his hand moving faster, his fingers plunging deeper into his body.

"Yeah," Kaiser breathed, his voice tight with need. "Tell me more."

"I'd make you watch," Ness continued, his voice a dark caress in his ear, "I'd show you how much pleasure pain can bring. You'd beg for more, and I'd give it to you, until you're sobbing and begging me to stop, even though you never really want me to."

Kaiser quivered as he came hard, his body arching off the bed, his vision swimming with white-hot pleasure. He moaned Ness's name, his voice lost in the symphony of their shared passion.

"I despise you." Kaiser murmured, collapsing against the mattress, his body trembling from his release. "But I want you."

"Liar."

Kaiser felt his face heat up as he spilled into his hand, and Ness whined and did the same. Kaiser wanted Ness's so badly. He wants Ness to control him and dominate him completely. The intensity of their desires consumed them, and their bodies intertwined in a passionate embrace. In that moment, they surrendered to their deepest cravings, lost in a world where only their love existed.

Only their love.

1:35 am

Thursday

Kaiser could feel his stomach turn as he watched the man from his window sill. He looked just like Ness, but oddly different. He hadn't seen Ness, spoken to Ness, or breathed his air since Ness left on vacation.

So why was he in the house across the street? Kaiser felt like throwing up, his head spinning. Spinning until he remembered.

"Kill all my dopplegangers."  Those were Ness's words, almost like a warning. As he stared at the man, he felt himself grow cold, so cold that it hurt. He needed warmth; he needed to feel safe, and so he comforted himself while looking at the scarring letters A and N carved into his flesh. They soothed him. His oath to God was that he would take him away from this barren land so that they could live in harmony together.

Kaiser loved that idea. He bathed in it, he groomed it, and he yearned for the day when he and Ness could finally escape their desolate surroundings. The thought of a life filled with peace and unity brought Kaiser a glimmer of hope, fueling his determination to make their shared dream a reality. He vowed to protect Ness at all costs, knowing that together they could create a world where they no longer had to hide or fear the judgment of others.

He vowed to protect Ness.

Ness.

Kaiser stripped off his robe and slid on a black hoodie. He slid on black sweat pants and whatever face covering he could find. He knew that in order to protect Ness and work towards their shared dream, he needed to get rid of those who lowered their chances. Kaiser slipped on a black pair of gloves and tied his hair up before grabbing a pair of scissors. Kaiser strolled out of his house quietly. Crossing the road and reaching the other side of the sidewalk. He scanned the house, masking his appearance, before peering inside and spotting an unlocked door.

Idiots.

He slid inside the house, the TV drowning him out. He walked past and into the kitchen before climbing up the steps.

"You're so funny!" laughed a girl in her room. A boy is singing in room down the hallway.

To him, it was terrible.

Kaiser walked into the master bedroom, going into the closet and shutting the door.

"###'#, I'm going to shower, okay?" A middle-aged lady said this before walking into the bathroom. Kaiser watched quietly, sliding the closet door open before locking the bedroom door. Kaiser gripped the scissors in his hand. His heart raced as he contemplated his next move. The sound of running water from the bathroom provided the perfect cover for his plan. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to do.

Kaiser swallowed a giggle before spinning the bathroom door open.

"#######, is that you?"

Silence.

"#######!?"

Kaiser slowly pulled back the floral curtains. His nose filled up with the scent of rose body wash.  He gripped the scissors as tight as he could and plunged them into the woman's fragile back, covering her mouth in the process. She gasped and struggled, but his forearm was like iron, pressing her into the cold porcelain of the bathtub. She tried to scream, but the sound was muffled by Kaiser's hand. Her eyes widened with fear as she struggled against his grip. Kaiser's heart raced, adrenaline pumping through his veins as he fought to keep her subdued. Kaiser watched her memories, life story, and hopes drain and mix into the crimson blood dripping down the shiny metal.

He swung again, almost consumed by the adrenaline. The scissors sliced through her skin with a sickening sound, and she jerked in his arms. He felt the warmth of her blood soaking into his clothes, painting them red. He pulled out the blade as she screamed, still muffled. She was glaring at him. He flipped her over, piercing the scissors into her stomach; the bluntness of the scissors caused much more agony. The pain in her eyes mirrored the torment he felt inside. Each drop of blood that escaped her body seemed to release a small part of his own anguish. He pulled the blade across her stomach, slicing her stomach open, the way her blood poured down her lower half and mixed with the water as it shimmered down the drain.

The bathroom was a macabre dance of red and white. The once tranquil shower had become a stage for a brutal scene. Kaiser felt a mix of excitement and horror. He had done it. He had killed someone. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks, and he felt a thrill unlike anything he had ever experienced before. The water continued to run, the droplets mixing with the blood and creating a pink pool at their feet.

Kaiser stepped out of the shower, leaving a trail of red footprints on the tiles. He looked at himself in the mirror, the scissors still clutched in his hand, covered in crimson. His face was a twisted mask of euphoria and terror. He had crossed a line, and there was no going back.

The woman's body lay lifeless in the bathtub, her eyes staring into the abyss.

It was beautiful. The way her blood slid down the drain drove him mad.

He peered through the crack in the bedroom door and watched as a girl slowly walked down the steps. He waited around five minutes before following her down.

"Bye Yuzuriha!  I'll see you soon!" She giggled, hanging up her phone.  Kaiser watched her put her phone on the kitchen counter before slowly wrapping his arm around her throat. She coughed and hit him, squirming and squealing like a piglet. He watched her grow weaker as she reached towards the kitchen knives.

He slammed her head against the counter top. Once, twice, or three times. He didn’t know. Time had a way of blurring when he got like this. Her eyes rolled back. He felt the pulse in her throat slow and stumble. Her breath grew ragged, like a storm dying out. He enjoyed the feeling of power, the thrill of it all. Her body went limp in his arms. He let her fall to the floor. He stepped back and admired his handiwork, his heart racing. He felt alive.

Ness would be proud.

Soon, he could hear the shuffling of a boy running down the steps. He glanced around the kitchen and ran into the pantry, the girl's head resting on the counter, hardly moving. Her breath was labored. The boy rushed towards his sister, holding her close to his chest as his hand shook.

"It'll be okay!" He sobbed.

Gross.

Kaiser scoffed. These disgusting doppelgängers are trying to make him pity them. Ness would love him for this.

Kaiser slowly creaked the pantry door open. The boy was whipping his head around as he crouched next to him. His face was a frozen one. Fear. It was like a painting of terror. He had seen it a hundred times before. The boy had no idea what was happening. Kaiser took a step forward.

"You mustn't worry. If it were my God, he would not have been this kind. You're not Alexis."

"What?"

Kaiser stepped closer, pondering how to kill the boy rather than explain. He liked the idea of the clone getting a taste of it's own medicine.

"You're a copy. A mere shadow. You're not the original, are you? Your sister is just like you. A doppelgänger."

The boy's eyes grew wide with confusion. Kaiser could see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to understand what he was saying.

"What do you mean?" He stuttered.

"You're just a pawn in their sick game. But I won't let them win." The boy's eyes widened in fear as he realized the gravity of the situation.

"I love Alexis Ness. He loves me; I won't let a clone like you ruin my fun." Kaiser reached for the knife block and gripped the blade of the nearest knife. He felt the cold steel in his hand and took a deep breath. "This is Gods will."

The boy looked up at him, his eyes pleading, "What are you doing?"

"Taking your life." Kaiser pulled the boy's hair before plunging the blade into the side of his neck. He watched the life drain out of his eyes. The blood dripped down the fragile boy's neck like nectar dripping from a flower.

He stepped back and watched the boy's body convulse before finally going still. He looked around, making sure the scene was set perfectly. The kitchen floor was now a canvas of crimson.

He took a deep breath, savoring the metallic scent of blood and fear. He felt something wet hit his cheek. It was rain, seeping through the window. It mixed with the tears on his face. He wiped it away, laughing to himself.

"God is crying for me," he whispered. "Or maybe he's crying because of you."

He turned to the kitchen sink and washed the knife clean before placing it back into the block.
Kaiser stepped over the bodies, his foot slipping slightly on the blood-soaked floor. He didn’t bother cleaning up. After all, Ness would appreciate the mess.

He'd love the mess because it was beautiful.

His devotion was raw and beautiful.
