Summary
A sequel to "Company Men."
It's been fifteen years since Aziraphale and Crowley had their three-month "two-night stand," after blessings and temptations in the 1960s and 70s brought them into the corporate world, and into each other's arms (and other parts).
Unfortunately, one of them (guess which!) could not commit at the time, so throughout the 70's and the first half of the 80's, things have been status quo... frenemies, drinking buddies, Arrangement-makers, dinner companions, flirtatious, frustrated colleagues.
But it was only a matter of time before one of them got into another jam, and needed he kind of help that nudged their desires over the top again. The mid-80's is a good time for self-indulgence, and Somebody (everybody) knows they've earned it. Aziraphale has been in a human job for 3 months, and when the blessing he's supposed to perform backs him into a semi-impossible Catch-22, he knows who he can call on. And someday down the line, he'll need to return the favour!
