Almost a year has passed since the events of ‘The Trouble with HELL’, and award-winning true crime podcasters Anthony Crowley and Aziraphale Eastgate are enjoying their Christmas shopping when they receive a phone call from the recently appointed Celestial Dairy’s CEO Muriel Lightfeather, who invites them to a charity gala that will take place on Christmas Eve. Crowley is almost done writing the long awaited sequel to his first novel Murder on the M25 and Aziraphale is focusing on his podcast Mystery Haven so, when the evening takes an unexpected dramatic turn and they find themselves having to track down a murderer, they decide to team up and investigate on what is about to become the scariest (but also horniest) night of their lives.

Make no mistake, miracles weren’t always easy to perform, and keeping one up for a long time could get tiring. The thought of Aziraphale, so needy, so desperate for him—so much that he conjured up another being that looked exactly like him just so they could make love—is too much for him to handle.

Both publish for the publishing house Alpha Centauri, at the top of which there are Gabriele Angeli and Bella Zebu. She proposes a collaboration between the two authors, to help Fell overcome his first writer’s block.This story takes place in Italy, so the names are almost all Italianate.
