Interpol again. Those blasted cops always seemed to know when L was just settling into a good nap - currently he was wrapped head to toe in soft, fuzzy blankies.
He groaned. Oh god, it wasn't even noon yet! What respectable (sensible) person was awake pre-noon? Besides, the only good reasons for waking up were plushie or food related.
The last part was in L's personal opinion, but seeing as he was the great (and humble) L, World's Greatest Detective Extraordinaire, he was probably correct.
But Interpol didn't want him to be correct about sleeping. Interpol wanted him to be correct about crime. At the very least an educated guess.
L groaned again. That's it! I'm never leaving my widdle cocoon again! L waited for the phone to go to voicemail, ('Hey. This is L. I don't care. Bye.') cursing when he remembered that Watari (poopie head) had set it so it would automatically accept the call.
"L! It's an emergency!" "It's always an emergency."
"People are dead!" "When aren't they?"
"But- It's Kira! Surely you've heard of Kira!"
"You've been reading the news, right?" Came the hesitant voice. "Unwillingly."
"What?" "Nothing."
"L! Sir, we need your help! This could be a disaster! We have demands from THREE governments already..."
