   Summary

   After escaping from the ill-fated Xuanwu night hunt in the asteroid belt circling the Wen-controlled planet Wangshu, Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaisang struggle to find a way to contact their home planets for help, not just for themselves, but for Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji who were left behind. Along the way, they get to see new sides of each other and find that their feelings for one another may have shifted.

   A space mecha AU retelling of the escape from the Xuanwu cave, the Wens' re-education camp, and the perilous journey back home.
