Aziraphale hated interrupting; it was terribly rude - but he had to. He needed to tell Crowley this instant. “What’s the lovely human expression?” He asked, voice pitched with excitement, hands flailing excitedly in front of him. He knew there was something humans say when they need to say something urgently, but he was nearly too excited to recall it. “Oh, yes! Hold that thought.” He exclaimed, opening his mouth to tell the news about what the Metatron had offered them.
“Angel, I really, really think I need to go first. Get this out.” Crowley said through clenched teeth, not nearly as against interrupting as Aziraphale was. The angel’s hands clenched and unclenched eagerly in front of him, wanting desperately to just blurt out how he was going to make things better, make them right. Make things how Crowley and Aziraphale always thought they should be. But he would really rather tell the whole story from beginning to end first, and if he had to wait for whatever Crowley was going to say to get it out in full, then he supposed he could do so patiently.
“Well- yes, alright. Do go on then.”
