Summary
I predict that the finale of Good Omens 3 will transform the GO universe into one where Heaven and Hell never existed. A universe that's billions of years old ... our universe. Because that's what Terry Pratchett would want. Aziraphale and Crowley will probably have to give up their immortality for this to happen. We'll cry, but it will be a *good* cry, a eucatastrophe.

Summary
That section of the bookshop was rather on the crowded side, hardbacks from various authors of the mid to late 1800s crammed alongside post-WWI British poetry in a hodgepodge of genres that would make a librarian break out in a cold sweat. The book that Crowley had pulled from the shelf was bound in dark blue fabric, the corners worn thin and the ridges across the spine threadbare from the touch of a hand.
“May I have that, my dear?” asked Aziraphale softly. Crowley handed over the book with a quirked eyebrow.
“Everything alright, Angel?”
“Fine,” Aziraphale said, “Perfectly fine. I just haven't… as you said, I haven't been in this part of the shop for a while now and it’s been ages since I’ve seen this.” He held the book carefully, letting the cover open gently, supported by his palm. Pressed between the flyleaf and endpapers there was a green chrysanthemum. It had gone dry and fragile with age but the color was still vivid, the soft green of sunlight through beech leaves. -

Aziraphale hated interrupting; it was terribly rude - but he had to. He needed to tell Crowley this instant. “What’s the lovely human expression?” He asked, voice pitched with excitement, hands flailing excitedly in front of him. He knew there was something humans say when they need to say something urgently, but he was nearly too excited to recall it. “Oh, yes! Hold that thought.” He exclaimed, opening his mouth to tell the news about what the Metatron had offered them.
“Angel, I really, really think I need to go first. Get this out.” Crowley said through clenched teeth, not nearly as against interrupting as Aziraphale was. The angel’s hands clenched and unclenched eagerly in front of him, wanting desperately to just blurt out how he was going to make things better, make them right. Make things how Crowley and Aziraphale always thought they should be. But he would really rather tell the whole story from beginning to end first, and if he had to wait for whatever Crowley was going to say to get it out in full, then he supposed he could do so patiently.
“Well- yes, alright. Do go on then.”
