Leorio finally gets an opportunity to take Kurapika out on a date. Knowing how fussy the Kurta can be, he decides to go all out, planning out every moment of their night together (down to the angle of the sunset for their first kiss). Just as everything seems to be perfect, he receives a call from a distressed Melody: she's hearing whispers about a dastardly fiend who plans to ruin Leorio's plans for the perfect date!

As a fully licensed Hunter and a not so well-respected member of the Zodiacs, Leorio responds to this news calmly and rationally: he only spends two hours tearing at his hair and freaking out, before remembering that he is a fully a licensed Hunter and a not so well-respected member of the Zodiacs who is perfectly capable of handling this on his own (mostly).

He decides to approach the situation rationally, and begins making a list of suspects:

• The first that comes to mind is Chrollo Lucifer, the Head of the Phantom Troupes. Kurapika's greatest enemy and the cause of all his pain and suffering in life.
• Another suspect is Pariston Hill, the Former Vice Chairman of the Hunter Association and a known troll.
• Leorio would be kidding himself if he left the gremlin known as Killua Zoldyck off the list.
• Lastly, Leorio can't discount Kurapika's second greatest enemy, Kurapika Kurta himself. (He also makes a note to talk to Kurapika about his self-esteem issues, because the whole "I am my own worst enemy" schtick is probably not great for healthy long-term relationships.)

Then he puts together a list of motives:

• hater: Someone wants to foil their date because he hates Kurapika, and therefore plans to ruin his chances of finding love with a handsome, charming doctor(-in-training).
• lol: Someone wants to foil their date because he wants to see Leorio suffer. Not so much because he hate Leorio; more that he thinks it's funny to see Leorio suffer. (And the first part of that sentence is up for debate.)
• oblivious: Look, the fiend isn't planning to ruin Leorio's date on purpose. He can't help it if he's a natural force of chaos, destroying everything he touches. It's almost not even his fault!
• crush: And of course, the obvious motive - someone also has a crush on Kurapika, and wants to foil Leorio's date in attempts to win Kurapika for himself.

After further consultation with Melody, he narrows down the fiend's dastardly plan down to four potential options:

• Kidnapping:The fiend is going to kidnap Kurapika at the beginning of their date. (Kind of boring, but it's a classic for a reason.)
• Distracting: The fiend plans to distract Kurapika with something. Probably something stupid, but somehow it will work.
• Guilt-Tripping: The fiend plans to make Kurapika feel guilty about enjoying life instead of focusing on his revenge, thus sending him down an emotional spiral that nothing can pull him out of. (Damn, that's pretty sick, even for a fiend.)
• Goading: The fiend plans to goad Leorio into making an ass out of himself in front of Kurapika,causing Kurapika to get pissed of and storm out in the middle of their date. (Leorio has to admit: That's a pretty good plan. It would work.)
• Distracting: The fiend plans to distract Kurapika with something. Probably something stupid, too.

Lastly, Leorio identifies the four potential locations where plan could take place: Yorknew City, Heaven's Arena, Greed Island, and the Hunter's Association Headquarters.

Using this information and a list of clues Melody was able to gather for him, Leorio resolves to get to the bottom of this mystery! Can you help Leorio figure out who the dating-foiling fiend is, what they're planning, where their plan takes place, and why they're doing this?
