It was the year of our lord XXXX, and it was the middle of nowhere in Area Zero. Kieran and Juliana were currently fighting over a treasure chest containing the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
Nemona and Carmine were sitting on the ground and playing chess. It turns out, Nemona was known for carrying a ton of games in her bag because she is just that competitive. After Carmine and Nemona exhausted their Pokémon in battle, they had to fill the void with something.
“Should we do something? It’s been three hours.” Penny was watching the two fight over the chest. By now, she thought that they would have exhausted themselves, collapsed, and the rest of the gang would simply carry them back to the academy.
Penny truly underestimated Juliana’s determination and Kieran’s hatred. She also underestimated her ability to not compulsively write fanfics of anime she was watching. The chants of “All for One” and “One for All” were not helping her fanfic writing addiction.
“They’re still at it!” Arven walked into the general area. He had set up a small campfire to cook food since everyone was hungry. He looked at Juliana and Kieran. Neither of them were tired. None of their shirts were even mildly wet with sweat. He looked up into the skies. “I’ll join you soon.”
Arven then made his way to Carmine. He said as loudly as possible. “So Carmine, what do you think about your future sister-in-law?”
Despite nobody having glass to break, a glass vase had to have struck the floor.
“YOU THINK I LIKE THIS GUY?!?!?!?!”
Now, Arven was being chased by two angry trainers.
“He’s dead,” said Penny, “There’s no way he’ll survive those two.”
“Should we do something?” Carmine said when she heard her brother say ‘I will rip out your spine and wear it as a belt.’
“Does anyone have any Pokémon that knows ice beam?” Nemona asked.
