Sighing, he reaches out for his phone on the nightstand, and presses the button to pick it up, murmuring out a "Hello?" while yawning.
But nothing answers, and the phones still ringing. Slowly, he looks over to the landline telephone on his stool.
"What the fuck?" he whispers before slipping out of his bed, walking towards it. The floors cold and grounds him to a full alertness, which is surprising because he was sure he got a full rush of adrenaline when he realized it wasn't his cordless.
Carefully he picks up the handle, and brings it up to his ear.
"Hello?"

He went into the cabinet and pulled out a pot, then walked over to the stove and started staring again. Monoma did another double take, flipping between the rice, the phone, and Todoroki’s face. “Do you not know how to cook rice?”
