So to start - the roles in the au!!

Kamaboko squad

Nezuko in the place of Tanjiro

Tanjiro in the place of Nezuko

Susamaru in the place of Inosuke

Kaigaku in the place of Zenitsu

Enmu in the place of Kanao

Yabaha in the place of Genya*

*I say ‘In the place of’ but I really mean he just travels with Nezuko, Tanjiro, Kaigaku and Susamaru. Why?? Why NOT tbh!! I can do what I want <3

Just because they're 'in the place of' a certain character doesn't mean their circumstances are the same!!

Enmu is a tsuguko, so he's in Kanao's place, but Yabaha's place isn't the same as Genya, and Susamaru's isn't the same as Inosukes

Hashira

Michikatsu - Moon Pillar

Douma - Ice pillar

Hakuji - Frost Pillar

Nakime - Sound Pillar

Managi - Water Pillar

Gyutaro - Poison Pillar

Ume - Poison Pillar

Frost and Poison breathing are both derived from Ice Breathing!

Ume is the youngest pillar, at 13, and shares a breathing style with Gyutaro. They fight together most of the time.

Michikatsu is the oldest of the pillars, at 26.

Hakuji is the one who saved Nezuko and Tanjiro that day

Kizuki

Gyomei - Upper One

Sanemi - Upper Two

Giyuu - Upper Three

Muichiro - Upper Four

Kyojuro - Upper Five

Mitsuri and Obanai - Upper Six

Tengen - Lower One

Shinobu - Lower Two (eventually promoted)

The Kizuki are MUCH more deadly then they are in canon in this AU.

Even a run in with a lower rank could be fatal

Demon slayer corps extra

Muzan - The Master

Rui - Muzan's son. The next Master

Muzan's unnamed daughter - One of the Kibustuji Daughters

(I'll add more Kibustuji daughters eventually)

Rei - Muzan's wife, and primary caretaker alongside Tamayo

Tamayo - The Head Doctor, and an old friend of Muzan's

Yushiro - Tamayo's assistant

Amane - A demon working alongside the corps. (Tamayo's position)

Kiriya - A demon, and Amane's son and assistant (Yushiro's position)

Urami - An old man, an ex-hashira, and the one who trained his five grandsons

Sekido - The Eldest of the Hantengu siblings, a demon slayer

Karaku - One of the Hantengu siblings, a demon slayer

Aizetsu - One of the Hantengu siblings, a demon slayer

Urogi - One of the Hantengu siblings, a demon slayer

Zohakuten - An angry, younger boy, training to be a demon slayer. Youngest of the Hantengu Siblings

Keizo - A trainer for younger demon slayers.

The Hantengu siblings travel in a pack, fighting demons together.

The four older boys are quadruplets, and Zohakuten is twelve. Because of their similar age, he's friend-enemies with Ume.

Demons Extra

Kagaya - The Demon King

Hinaki - Kagaya's daughter. Turned at eight years old. She controls the infinity castle.

Nichika - Kagaya's daughter. Turned at eight years old. She oversees the Upper ranks, and keeps tabs on them.

Kuina - Kagaya's daughter. Turned at eight years old. She is in charge of delivering punishments to demons who defy Kagaya, when he isn't available.

Kanata - Kagaya's daughter. Turned at eight years old. She helps Kagaya stay undercover, getting rid of people in order for him to stay undetected, sometimes posing as a human alongside him.

Kanao - She works alongside Shinobu

Aoi - She works alongside Shinobu, and is in charge of Kiyo, Sumi and Naho, who are like mini subordinates for her.

Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru - Tengen's three wives. Fight alongside him. He cares too much about them, possibly a problem for him

Genya - A demon created by Sanemi. More further down!!

Other Extras

Kotoha - She's married to Douma. Unsure whether I want her dead or not lmao!!!

Inosuke -Douma's young son. Not biologically. Around 4.

Koyuki - Hakuji's wife. He loves her more then life itself.

Silly info lmao!!!

-Amane and Kagaya were married

-Kagaya was the demon king and all that

-Amane "opened her eyes"- she took Kiriya, and faked their deaths

-They're now like Tamayo and Yushiro

-Amane still loves Kagaya, but pushed her feelings aside for the greater good

-Kagaya is obviously cruel. Now he's even worse. His daughters are constant reminders of what he "lost"

-In their human lives, Kagaya was a sick nobleman. Amane was his wife, and their children were their children.

-When he became the demon king, they were the first people he turned.

-When Sanemi became a demon, the only thing he could remember was the faces of his siblings

-He tried hard to use his BDA to bring them back

-This BDA uses wind created of his own blood.

-The only successful thing was creating a demon copy of Genya

-Genya is sorta whispy. He looks solid and made of wind(??) at the same time.

-None of Genyas memories, but you catch my drift

-Kinda like Hantengu making whole ass conscious clones

-Genya is a clone of a memory

-Muichiro thought perhaps if they lived in different circumstances, and were human, he could actually have the chance love Genya.

-This is him coming to the terms he can never truly show his feelings

-Obanai and Mitsuri were a couple and on the brink of death when Kagaya saved them

-Now they share a rank and their heads need to be cut off at the same time (like Daki and Gyutaro)

-Mitsuri is physically strong even by demon standards

-Her blood demon art uses ribbons and stuff

-Obanai's blood demon art uses snakes/fangs/poison(??) (I'll think of it later)

-When Obamitsu fight together, at their strongest, they dance. Like a ballroom dance type thing whilst fighting, using their individual BDA'S together.

-Ume and Gyutaro share a breathing style, and are both Hashira

-As 'Breath of Poison' suggests, they use wisteria poison in their attacks

-Ume is obviously the weaker of the two, despite being a skilled fighter

-Her sword is similar to Mitsuri's

-Their backstory is similar to the original.

-Except Ume was saved moments after she was set alight

-She escaped with burn scars and a blind left eye

-She's incredibly insecure about this :(

-Gyutaro uses custom made Sickles.

-Douma uses 'Nichirin fans'

-The rest of the hashira use pretty standard weapons

-Nakime's breathing style, despite having the name 'Sound Breathing', has different forms to Tengen's.

-Enmu is the tsuguko of Douma
