Summary
The mountains were no stranger to bears, but recently, the rumors of a man-eating bear had circled the small village, settled in the north.
It was hard to ignore, more and more people disappeared, especially the matagi hunters. In particular, a hunter named Matazo was the first to disappear.
Yae, his daughter, was the one most affected by his death after reportedly seeing the bear kill her father and his comrades in front of her. She wanted to avenge him, even if many had advised her to stay in the village, it didn’t stop her from secretly sneaking out and going into the forest.
She had enough of the adults in her village, enough of having to stay put, she needed vengeance now.

Yae, in search of her father, decided to go to the woods, with nothing more than a hunting rifle. There, she meets a demon, Hairo, and together, they search for Matazo and Rengoku. While they work together, memories of Hairo’s past life start to piece together in his mind.

Summary
The girl wasn't afraid but she had not been given permission to speak so she said nothing. The man tilted his head to the side, smile fading to a confused pout.
"Aren't you going to scream?" he asked.
The girl said and did nothing.
His hand tightened around her throat, strong enough it cut off her breath. She did nothing, even when her vision began to blacken as her lungs struggled and twisted from the lack of air. After a moment his hand relaxed and she took a breath, but made no attempt to push away from him or fight his grip.
"That's strange," the man said, "Are you really not afraid?"
She blinked but did not respond. His hand loosened around her throat until he was pressing his bloody index finger against her neck, sensing her pulse. It was as steady and calm as it had ever been since that day she became empty and hollow.
"Well, aren't you interesting. I think I'll keep you," the man decided.

Xornoth is getting more and more powerful on the server. After the dragon fight Xornoth is at their most powerful yet, and to get that last little bit of power to fully take over that server, they need everyone to believe they exist. But that might be a problem. There was absolutely NO WAY that Joel was ever going to believe that there was a demon running around the server. Yes, there might be red vines growing in his base but there was a perfectly reasonable explanation. He just didn't know what it was yet.
