Summary
Before he can take more than a slow step away, the wolf’s teeth snap out, catching on the leg of his pants. They don’t get any skin, and the careful way they’re holding their head feels very intentional. Alejandro squeaks, which would be embarrassing if he weren’t certain that this is not normal behavior for a werewolf and a completely appropriate time to squeak.
The wolf seems to find this amusing, and yanks a little harder. Alejandro loses his footing trying not to lose his leg and collapses onto the wolf’s side. For a moment, he thinks: this is it. I am about to be one of those horror stories that you see on the news. Conservative anti-shifter groups are going to print posters with my face on them.
