   “I wasn’t in the mood to drink that much nor to play,” he admitted, and it was Lila’s turn to raise her eyebrows at him. “I hate this humid weather and the wine warms me up,” he didn’t say that he was also wallowing in self-pity because of his powers, but she might have known.
