Work Text:
Joshua had a crush on someone.
Said someone was a fellow member of his group; the resident walking sunshine who shared his warmth with everyone he met. Said someone was also Joshua’s dongsaeng, two years younger–which meant that even if Joshua said, “The person I like is our dongsaeng,” to his fellow ‘95 liners, they should not be able to guess. This ridiculous feeling he had for that person was supposed to be hidden, unseen, and went away unnoticed.
Or so Joshua thought.
Because after listening to Joshua’s ten minute rants about his hopeless crush, Jeonghan nodded and gave Joshua a sympathetic pat on shoulder. “Our Dokyeomi is, indeed, a sensitive yet oblivious person. Stay strong, Shua.”
Joshua felt like he was struck by thunder in the middle of a sunny day.
Seeing his friend suddenly turned into a slowly crumbling statue, Jeonghan innocently blinked. “Eh, is it supposed to be a secret?”
Trembling, Joshua muttered, “Am I that obvious?”
The other party cheerfully messed up Joshua's neatly styled hair. “Don’t worry, don’t worry. I won’t spill it to anyone else. I swear, I swear.”
(however, whether other people realized it beforehand was a whole different matter)
