Their shift today was very tiring, they had already been on 4 calls. When they returned from the last call, their stomachs were growling with hunger.
As soon as they received the call, they threw themselves into the shower. Today it was Travis' turn to cook.
Andy, Vic and Maya helped with the meal.

[Maya became a lieutenant 3 months ago. She went to her family to give the news of her promotion. That's when she realized who her real family was. For 2 months, she was very hard on herself for not being able to help her brother and not realizing it before. Maya made a promise to herself then that she would change for herself and for her brother. She tried to improve her relationship with his brother for a month, and even though they were not very close, they promised each other to have dinner every week.
Maya's personal life had also changed; she was spending more time with her friends. Self-care Wednesdays had turned into girls' nights with friends. ]

Andy looked at her friend and thought about how far she had come. She smiled in her own way and they started eating. As soon as they took their first bite, the call came and they grumbled in unison and quickly put on their equipment.

Captain Sullivan was giving briefings about the fire along the way. It was an explosion in the shopping mall. The whole team knew that this would be difficult and tiring.

Carina had officially moved to Seattle. But she still didn't feel like she belonged here. She was very happy with her little brother, but something was missing in her life. She was very happy with her friends. But there was no one in her personal life. Her last girlfriend was Arizona, but it ended badly. It wasn't easy for Carina, but when she thought about it, she didn't have great feelings for her. She was very tired because of what she went through with her father and brother. Her little brother was better now, that was enough for her, but her soul needed someone.

Her little brother's birthday was coming up. She left the hospital early for her little brother's gift.
She was wandering around the store, unable to decide what to buy. The store was slowly emptying out and she knew she had to hurry.
Just as she set out to pay for the piece she had chosen, she heard a loud explosion.

When Team 19 arrived at the scene, the incident commander assigned them a search and rescue mission.
They started searching in pairs. Other crews had already evacuated the first floor

Andy and Maya were taking people out. They took turns searching the entire area. Since it was closing time for the mall, there weren't many people there.
They were evacuating the people in their areas one by one. They thought they had finished their own areas.
Just as Maya was getting ready to leave, she saw movement and called out to her friend, heading towards the movement.
When Maya saw a woman lying on the ground, she shouted, "Andy, hurry up, there's someone here."

Carina was hearing voices around her. With the force of the explosion, Carina lost consciousness. When she opened her eyes, she felt a headache.
She wanted to shout for help, but she had no strength. She smiled when she saw the firefighters coming towards her. She was going to get out of here.

Two firefighters immediately rushed to the injured woman. While Maya was checking the woman's health, Andy tried to remove the rubble on the woman.
Maya checked the woman and said, "Hey, I'm Maya, this is my friend Andy, we'll get you out of here."

The injured woman looked at the firefighter women who saved her and smiled and said, "I'm Dr. Carina DeLuca. Now, how long will it take for you to remove the clothes on me? My leg is getting worse and I'm starting to not feel it." Maya examined the injured woman's wounds and said, "Hello Carina, we are doing our best, okay, you will stay here with us for a while, but we are not that bad, we are fun, so I don't think you will be bored." "I never doubted that, Bella," Carina said with a smile. While the Maya woman was bandaging her wounds, she said, "Where is your accent from?"
"I'm Italian but I recently moved here," Carina said.
Andy realized that they could not lift the debris with their own efforts and moved away to ask the captain for help. When Carina saw the firefighter walking away, she said, "The situation is bad, you can't lift the debris and please don't lie to me." Maya looked at the woman and said, "yeah, but we have a lot of tools, I'm sure they'll be here soon, then let's chat while I help you, okay?"
Carina smiled at the firefighter woman and said, "Do you want to chat with me that much, Bella?" She said with a flirtatious smile.

Andy came over and called Maya over. Maya went to her friend. She saw the worried face of the brunette woman and said, "Maya, we have to leave immediately, they are expecting a second explosion, no help will come upstairs." Maya got angry and said, "We won't get out of here without taking him out, now bring that help here."

Maya checked her latest values as she went to the injured woman. When Carina saw the firefighter woman's face pouting, she said, "They won't come, right? Remember, Bella, there's no lie." Maya, not knowing what to say, said, "We're doing our best, don't worry, we won't leave here without getting you out, and we'll get you out of here safe, okay?" Carina nodded, but she was starting to feel more and more weak. 

Carina and Maya were continuing to chat when Andy came to them, they were now talking about each other's favorites.
"They're coming, we'll be out of here soon," Andy said while touching his friend's shoulder. Maya looked at her friend thanking her and turned to Carina "See, you have to hold on a little longer" She said. Carina was grateful for the efforts of the firefighter women and said, "It's too late now, I can't feel my legs, you should leave me and go." Maya immediately silenced the woman and said, "Hey, look at me, it's almost time. You just have to hold on a little longer and then we'll all get out of here, okay?" Carina just nodded her head again.

Realizing the seriousness of her situation, Carina knew that she did not have much time, she was thinking about her life, her brother, and maybe her friends would be very upset, but there was no one in her life that she could depend on. Tears were flowing from her eyes. The firefighter woman noticed the tears and wiped them. "Hey, you'll be fine," she said.

Carina looked at the firefighter woman desperately and said, "If I get out of here alive." The blonde woman immediately interrupted her, "You'll be fine," she said with an approving look. Carina smiled and said, "Marry me."
Maya stared in shock. Carina looked shy and said, "Are you married or do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?"
Andy did not allow her friend to speak and said, "Then we have a fire brigade, I will be your bridesmaid, Maya, don't worry, I will take care of everything, Bishop-Delucas." Carina laughed and said, "deluca-bishop seems better." Maya laughed at the conversation of the two women and said, "If you want everything to be as you wish, at least you can only use just bishop." Carina laughed and said, "I think Carina just bishop suits me." Maya laughed and said, "It suits you." Carina turned to the woman and said, "Are we getting married then?"
Maya looked at the woman with pain and said "yes".

Carina was already starting to deteriorate when Jack and Dean rushed in with their aid vehicles.
Maya approached the injured woman and said, "I'll get you out of here, okay, please hold on for a while." Carina was tired now and said, "Okay, fiancée." And slowly her eyes closed. Jack and Dean looked at each other, trying to understand what was happening.
They rushed to get Carina out, but she was getting worse and worse.

Carina, who emerged from under the rubble, had now completely lost consciousness. Maya held the woman's hand. Jack and Dean loaded the woman onto the stretcher and carried her to the vehicle. Maya did not let go of the woman's hand even for a moment. Maya wanted to get in the first aid vehicle with the woman. The captain did not allow this, they also needed first aid, they had stayed inside too long. She had cuts from the debris.

Maya could not convince the captain. They were heading towards the hospital, following Carina.

When Carina arrived at the emergency room, her colleagues were waiting for her. When they all learned that the injured woman was Carina, they immediately ran for help. Bailey shouted at one of the interns and ordered them to immediately call Doctor Deluca to the emergency room.

Maya and Andy arrived at the emergency room with the ambulance behind them. A routine check was performed and their wounds were dressed.

As soon as their dressings were finished, Maya and Andy immediately ran to the operating room where the carina was. They asked Bailey about her condition and waited there until she came out of surgery.

When Andrew saw two firefighter women waiting for his sister, he went to them. "Are you the firefighters who saved my sister?" he asked. When they answered yes, Andrew hugged them both and said thank you. And he started crying. Andy tried to calm him down and said, "This is our duty, she is very strong, she will be fine." The brunette man nodded.

After hours of surgery, doctors went to her brother to inform him of Carina's condition. When the two firefighters there saw the woman, they looked at Andrew. Andrew said "it's okay". The doctors explained Carina's health condition. Doctor Shepheard said she had to put her in a coma for now. Andrew said, "Oh my God, she went there because of me." Doctor Bailey and Doctor Shepheard went to him, trying to calm him down.

Andy and Maya sat there in silence. The doctors said they could see Carina after taking her to the room. A few hours later Andrew went to the room. He talked to his sister and then saw two Firefighters waiting outside.
"Would you like to visit too?" he asked. Andy and Maya just nodded and said yes. When they entered the room, they saw the injured woman lying there peacefully. Maya felt strange, as if she was lying there. Many people she had saved before had become close to her, but Maya had always remained professional, but now the woman lying there really felt like her fiancée.

The two women then set off to return to the fire station.

A week had passed since the incident. Maya went to the hospital every day and watched the brunette woman from afar. She brought her flowers. She knew exactly what to buy because while they were waiting to save the woman, they talked to each other about the things they loved.
The blonde was bringing blue orchids into the room. But she didn't have the courage to approach the brunette woman. The woman was sleeping peacefully. Maya wanted to go to the woman and hold her hand again, she wanted to feel that warmth again. But she always held back.

Carina was slowly starting to wake up. Andrew was sleeping next to his sister. When he noticed that his sister was trying to move, he held her sister's hand and said "ciao sorella" with a smile.
Carina was slowly starting to open her eyes. Andrew immediately called and all the doctors came for a check-up.

Amelia approached her friend and said, "How are you feeling, Dr. Deluca?" in a playful tone.
Carina turned to her friend and said "bishop Dr bishop". Everyone in the room looked at Carina in shock. Andrew approached his sister and said, "Carina, what are you talking about?" Amelia started asking her friend questions again to check, but she didn't see any problems. Carina smiled at the surprised faces and said, "I'm engaged." Everyone is still trying to get over the shock. Andrew looked at his sister with a confused face and said, "Carina, I don't understand when and who." Carina smiled imagining the blonde woman and said "maya". In a flirtatious tone. While everyone was questioning who Maya was, Andrew turned to his sister and said, "Do you mean the firefighter who saved you?" Carina said "yes", happy that her brother had already met her. Some things were starting to make sense to Andrew now. The blonde woman was visiting every day, bringing flowers, but how long had they known each other? Her sister hadn't said anything to her, "But Carina, why didn't you tell me anything?" she said. "She was like a superhero when she came to save me," Carina said, laughing at her brother. As Andrew and Amelia looked at each other, they thought this might be a syndrome. Guessing what they were thinking, Carina said, "No, it's not what you think, I just don't know, there's something about him, like my other half, I know it was for a short time, but it's like he was my missing piece, and it has nothing to do with him saving me, there were so many heroic people there." When Carina looked on the table, she saw the flowers there. Andrew understood where she was looking and said, "Your fiancé brought you, he came to see you every day, but he always looked from afar." Carina felt heartbroken and said, "Did he leave a number?" Andrew laughed at his sister and said, "So, you want your fiancée's number from me?" Carina patted her brother on the shoulder and said, "Where can I find it?" She said in a sad tone. Andrew couldn't stand his sister's sadness and said, "Don't worry, she will come again tomorrow," but Carina didn't want to wait for tomorrow.

A few hours later, Bailey came to visit Carina. "Hey how are you?" She said. Carina said gratefully, "I'm fine, thank you." Carina suddenly became enlightened and said, "Hey Bailey, isn't your husband a firefighter?" Bailey, not understanding, said "yes".
Carina said hopefully, "Do you think he knows the firefighters who saved me?" Bailey said, "Yes, Maya and Andy are on the same team with them, why did you ask?" "Do you think he can give me Maya's number?" Carina said triumphantly, with little puppy eyes. Bailey laughed and said, "You're so fast, Deluca." Bailey gave the number to Carina. Carina hugged Bailey big with happiness.

As Maya approached the hospital, she started to get nervous. Her hands were sweating for the first time in her life. She didn't understand why she felt this way.

Carina was in the same situation and was very excited. She asked Andrew for a mirror and make-up materials. She combed her hair and put on make-up.

The blonde headed towards Carina's room. She was getting more and more nervous. But she wanted to see the brunette woman so much that he burst into the room.
As soon as she entered the room, she saw the most beautiful woman in the world. The eyes of the two women locked together. Carina smiled. Maya felt like she had a butterfly in her stomach.
Maya came in shyly and said, "Hey, I'm glad you woke up." "Yes, thanks to you, my fiancé," Carina said with a big smile. Maya was starting to blush.
"This is my job," she said. Carina saw the blonde's face turn red and said "I know and you are very good at this, do you want to sit down" Maya sat on the chair next to the brunette. Carina looked at the flowers again and said, "Thank you for the flowers, you really listened to me, huh?" with a wink. Maya was surprised at how much redder she could get. "It doesn't matter," she said. When she saw Maya blushing, Carina laughed and said, "So, my fiancée, when is the wedding date?" Maya said, "I don't know, you and Andy decide everything, you decide this." Carina"Are you jealous, I took your last name, what more do you want?" Carina said playfully. Maya said, "I'm glad you're okay." Carina said, "So, will you keep your promise, Bishop?" Maya said, "At least let me take you out to dinner before we get married." Carina's eyes widened, "Do you want to take me out on a date, mia capıtano?" she said flirtatiously. Maya was startled by the brunette's tone of voice. "Y-Yes," she stammered. "I'd really like to go on a date with you the first night I leave here, Bella," Carina said. Maya bowed her head and took a deep breath, "I'll leave you alone, rest for a while," she said. "Do you have to leave immediately?" Carina said sadly. Maya said, "I have nothing to do, I just don't want to disturb you." Carina said, "No, please stay." The two women looked at each other and smiled.

The two women are chatting about their lives until the nurse interrupts their conversation.
Carina was shocked when she learned that Maya was the Olympic champion. She made Maya promise to show her her medal. Likewise, Maya was shocked when she learned about Carina's work.

When visiting hours were over, Maya returned home.

Carina couldn't stop smiling ever since the blonde woman left.
Andrew would stay with her tonight. Even though Carina said it wasn't necessary, Andrew insisted.

He was still trying to understand what happened between Maya and his sister, whether she was serious or joking, but

Andrew suddenly came out of his reverie and said, "i'm not thinking anything." Andrew exhaled, "I was thinking about you and Maya, I still couldn't figure out if it was a joke or real," he said. Carina smiled again as soon as she heard the blonde name, "Your head is I understand your confusion, but I'm serious, of course we won't go and get married right away, but Andrew, I've never had such intense feelings for someone in my life. Everything seems so easy around her, even when I talk about my traumas, I'm happy, I don't know, she's different," she said. Andrew playfully said to his sister, "Well, I guess I have 2 older sisters now." Carina was happy that her brother didn't judge. Carina woke up in the middle of the night due to pain. She didn't want to wake up his brother, there was nothing he could do. When Maya saw Carina's heart message, she smiled and tried to sleep for her. She had two days off after tomorrow's shift. She was excited to spend these two days with the brunette woman. Maya could not resist her tiredness and fell asleep smiling.

Carina was still in pain, but talking to the blonde always comforted her. She spent the whole night reading her messages with the blonde and looking at the blonde's profile picture. Maya was changing her clothes and when she saw her friends watching her, she said, "How long have you been choosing to watch me?" Andy said, "How long have you been coming to the station singing?" Maya rolled her eyes at her friends. Vic said, "Does this have anything to do with a 1.70 tall brunette hot Italian doctor?" Maya looked at her friend and was about to say something when she smiled again. Andy jumped on his friend and said, "Looks like someone's falling in love." Vic joined Andy and now they turned Maya into a ball of love. Maya tried to get rid of her friends and said, "Don't be ridiculous, leave me alone." Her friends hugged her tighter and shouted, "You're in love."

They woke up to the sound of doctors entering Carina's room. Andrew caressed his sister's hair and said, "Buongiorno, sleeping beauty."
Carina did not hide her happiness at her brother's affection and said "Buongiorno mio fratello ". After greeting the doctors, he said excitedly, "When can I be released?" The doctors smiled and started to give information about the condition of DR Grey. "There is no problem for you to be discharged, Dr. Deluca," he said. Carina waited with excitement for what the other doctors would say. Dr. Lincoln said, "Carina, you have been under the rubble for a very long time, there are serious problems in your muscles, you need to receive physical therapy, it is a miracle that you can even walk now, so I will keep you here for 2 more days and then I will re-evaluate you." Carina's sadness was visible on her face; she wanted to be discharged as soon as possible and go on a date with the blonde. She saw the message from the blonde and opened it with excitement.

Hey you said you had control today.

They just left and we won't be able to go to the date for at least 2 more days, sorry Bella.

Carina still couldn't understand how the blonde could calm her down so easily. But he was so happy to have her. Even though the fact that she wouldn't be able to see Maya until at least tomorrow made her sad, she was relieved that she could always text her.

Maya approached the captain and said, "Captain, can I go with the ambulance, I have work to do at the hospital." The captain looked at the blonde questioningly, but Maya had not done any work-related shirking so far, so he allowed it.
Maya immediately got into the ambulance and headed towards the hospital.
When she arrived at the hospital, she immediately stopped by the souvenir shop. She bought a bear with a heart written on it and a get-well message written on it. She headed towards Caina's room. When she came to the door of the room, there was a woman inside, she was kissing Carina and hugging her, she was saying something she didn't understand, probably in Italian. Maya was feeling jealous all over. She was undecided about whether to enter the room, but when the woman hugged and kissed Carina again, she saw Carina's happiness, and at that moment she felt devastated, she didn't know how to deal with this feeling.

She felt the need to leave the place immediately. As she was leaving, Andrew saw her and said, "Hey Maya, are you here to visit?" Maya tried to hide her sadness, "Yes, but I have to go." When she was about to leave, Andrew said, "I think that's for Carina," pointing to the teddy. Maya quickly said, "Yes." saying. She gave the teddy bear to Andrew and walked away. Although Andrew could not understand the blonde's flu state, he went to his sister's room, thinking how happy she would be when he gave her gift to her. As soon as he entered, he said "oh really man" when he saw Gabriella, who welcomed him and hugged her. Gabriella said in surprise, "How long have you been upset to see me?" Andrew said, "No, I'm just glad to see you," taking a deep breath. Carina motioned for her brother to continue and said, "I'm not the only one who was surprised. I met Maya at the door, she looked a little strange." "Is Maya here?" Carina said excitedly. Andrew said, "No, I guess she was in a hurry, she gave it to me and left." Carina couldn't understand. Then she thought that she and Gabriella might have misunderstood her sincerity from the outside. Carina looked at the bear on her brother's lap. Andrew must have understood, so he handed the teddy to his sister. Carina hugged the bear and started crying. Everything seemed too much, if being stuck in a hospital bed was becoming bearable, it was thanks to Maya. Now she was dragged into a situation that she completely misunderstood. Carina knew how introvert Maya could be and was afraid she would withdraw into herself. Gabriella and Andrew tried to calm her down, but she was hugging the teddy bear and venting. As Carina slowly started to calm down, she immediately took her phone and called the blonde. All 5 calls went unanswered.

Hey, I heard you came to the hospital, why didn't you come by?

Maya got into the ambulance with tears in her eyes. She ignored her friends even though they asked her what happened.
When they arrived at the station, she immediately ran to take a shower. While taking a shower, the tears flowed non-stop. When she came out of the shower Vic and Andy greeted her "Hey what happened Warren said something but we didn't understand" She said. Without saying anything, Maya went to her closet to change. Andy and Vic pushed him, but he didn't say anything. Maya was getting more and more angry as she saw the messages and calls. She put her phone on silent, put it in her locker and did not look at her phone during the shift.

Carina's heart ached more with each missed call. Gabriella and Andrew were having a hard time calming her down.

Carina couldn't sleep all night, she kept texting her blonde, but the blonde still didn't answer her, she felt her heart getting heavy.

Maya went home as soon as she got off shift. She took a quick shower and went to bed. She read the messages from Carina, then turned off the phone and tried to sleep.

In the morning, Maya woke up with a load on her. She didn't want to get out of bed. The last time she felt like this, it took a long time for her to recover. She was now afraid of experiencing everything all over again.

Carina hadn't slept all night, she was in a terrible state, she didn't know what to do, she had to reach Maya.
There was nothing she could do, she asked Bailey for Andy's number. Carina immediately called Andy without wasting any time.
"Hey Andy, I'm Carina, I'm sorry I'm disturbing you."
"hey carina it doesn't matter"
"Andy, Maya came to visit me yesterday, there are many things she misunderstood, please, I can't reach her."
"I don't understand what's going on, Maya looked sad yesterday, what's the problem?"
"She misunderstood my sincerity with a friend of mine, she would understand if she listened to me, please."

Carina hung up the phone with hope and hugged her teddy bear.

Andy was nervous when she arrived at her friend's house. She remembered the last time Maya was withdrawn and she was afraid for her friend so that it wouldn't happen again.
When Maya saw Andy in front of her, she said, "What are you doing here?" Andy took a deep breath and said, "Carina called." Maya interrupted her friend and said, "I don't want to listen, if that's why you came, you can leave."
Andy said, "Please don't cut it off before Maya listens."
Maya said, "What am I going to listen to, Andy? This was nonsense from the beginning, so I don't care." Andy looked at her friend's pain sympathetically and said, "Maya, I know how excited you were this morning, so please don't do this now. She was a friend. she came as soon as she heard the news from Italy. There was nothing like what you thought between them."  she said. Maya said angrily, "I told you I wasn't interested, now leave me alone" and went to her room angrily.
Andy nodded and left.

Carina was waiting hopefully for news from Andy. Gabriella was very confused. She didn't understand why her friend was so upset. It was the first time she heard the name Maya. "What are you doing here?" She said. For a moment, Maya thought she had stopped breathing and filled her lungs with breath.

Carina tried hard to convince her brother and finally convinced her doctors and her brother.

Along the way, she was thinking about what kind of explanation she would make, she just wanted to make peace with her fiancée. She was secretly angry with Maya and it hurt her to give up on her without listening to her. But from her conversations with Maya, she knew that she was an introvert. But that couldn't be an excuse, she couldn't give up that easily.

She was brought out of her thoughts by Andrea's voice saying they were coming. Andrew got out first to get her wheelchair. That was the condition for letting her come here.

Carina got in her chair and headed home. When she got off the elevator, they arrived in front of house number 7.

Andrew said, "We're here, I'll wait for you downstairs" and left.
Carina knocked on his door excitedly. She was curious about the blonde's reaction. She thought to herself, maybe she could live here in the future, she laughed and was startled by the sound of the door opening.

Carina hugged Maya tighter and said, "Well, if you want, I can wait until our wedding night." Maya froze. Carina laughed at the blonde's situation and kissed her forehead. The two women were woken up from their sleep by Maya's phone ringing. Carina snorted and snuggled into the blonde's neck and said, "Turn it off." Maya rubbed her eyes and said, "Your brother is calling, we need to get ready." Carina said, "I don't want to go." Maya kissed her forehead and said, "We'll have more time, okay?" "I need some time to fascinate you" she said laughing. Maya, you don't have to wear anything to fascinate me, I mean that's not the case, I didn't mean naked, I said even with your pajamas is enough. Carina laughed at the blonde's stupidity and extended her hand to the blonde. Maya took Carina's hand and pressed it to her lips. She brought her closer and kissed her. Maya looked at the rings on the brunette's hand and said, "Why are you wearing so many rings?" without taking her hand off the brunette's hands. Carina said, "I collected each ring from my travels, they stay with me as a souvenir. Maybe if we go on trips together in the future, we can buy them from there, although I don't think I need to travel for my engagement ring." Maya swallowed and thought she was going to choke for a moment.
Carina laughed and said, "There's no rush, Bambina, whenever you feel ready." Maya just shook her head.

They went to a cute little restaurant together. Their jaws hurt from smiling throughout the meal. When they finished eating, Maya paid the bill. Then they set out to go to Maya's house.

When they got home, Maya took a quick shower, put on her clothes and went to the living room next to Carina. There was less than an hour left for the others to arrive.

Maya and Carina lost track of time while chatting. They noticed when the doorbell rang.

Maya opened the door. The girls came in. After Maya greeted Vic and Andy, Michelle literally jumped into Maya's arms and hugged her. Andy and Vic, everyone who was used to Michelle's feelings towards Maya, looked on as if it were normal. Except for one person, Carina was watching what was going on and when she looked at Andy and Vic, they were acting like it was normal.

When everyone entered, the girls looked at Maya in surprise when they saw Carina.
Maya said, "You already know Carina, we were together when she called." When Michelle extended her hand to Carina, she said, "Hello, I'm Michelle." Carina looked annoyed as she turned to Maya and smiled. It had only been 10 minutes since the woman arrived and she was already flirting with Maya. Carina, "Hello, I'm DR Carina DeLuca, although my last name will be Bishop soon" she said, winking at Maya. Michelle looked at her cousin in surprise. Andy understood what her cousin was saying and said, "We met in an accident with Carina, it's just a joke we've had since then." Carina" it's not a joke at all. "she said, extending her hand to Maya. Maya "si my fiancee"said holding the brunette's hand.

Carina looked spellbound as she spoke to Maya's friends. If someone understood what she was going through, they would accuse her of being crazy. But she was happy with the way her life was going. She felt safer with Maya than she ever had.

When it was Carina's turn to be asked a question, she had stepped out of her own little bubble. "Maya is not telling us anything about the wedding, please, as her bridesmaids, we need to know something," Vic said, repeating the question. Maya stretched out and said, "What makes you think you're going to be my bridesmaid?" Vic threw corn at maya and said, "shut up, I'm talking to your hot italian fiancé." Maya sulked at her friend, approached Carina and put her head on her shoulder. Carina laughed at the sweetness of the blonde and kissed her on the head, "we're not in a hurry right now, but I've always wanted a country wedding, I want it to be small but intimate," she said. Maya's eyes were getting big while Carina was telling. Vic and Andy had fallen in love with the interaction of two women. Michelle was saying things against Carina at the time. She had been in love with Maya for a long time and was waiting for the blonde's interest in her. Michelle,isn't this like falling in love with a robber, she said, taking a sip of her wine. "We can also call it mutual love," Carina said emphatically, annoyed that she had been close to maya since the woman arrived. Maya noticed the tension between the two women and said, "Does anyone want a beer," and Decamped to the kitchen.

After saying goodbye to the girls, Maya and Carina were finally left alone. Maya was starting to tidy up. Carina had helped the blonde. 

Maya came to the seat next to the brunette and put her head on the brunette's leg. Carina was stroking the blonde's hair. Maya's mind was stuck on the question Vic was asking. Carina could tell that the blonde was choking with thoughts, she said, "hey, what do you think?" Maya, I know we've been discussing what Vic said, but I don't know if this is the end of the road or marriage, I'm getting so confused, she said. Carina continued to stroke the blonde's hair and said, "Is this a problem for you, marriage?" Maya said, looking at Carina, who was stroking her head, "I don't know, I just know that marriages are not good." 
"Bambina, my thoughts about marriage are really dark, but let me express this engaged event with you, fantastico," Carina said with a small laugh. Maya approached the brunette's face and said, "Do we still have to wait for a real date?" "Baciami,"Carina said, smiling flirtatiously. Maya looked at the brunette face with a meaningless frown. "Kiss me, you idiot,"Carina laughed. Maya, without waiting, dropped a chaste kiss on the brunette's lips. She fixed her eyes on the brunette's eyes to see Carina's reaction, and around carina's approving gaze, she again put her lips at the mercy of the brunette's lips. maya was losing herself from the softness of Carina's lips.Maya discovered the brunette with her hands, lifted up her T-shirt and Carina cut off the kiss "bambina, as much as I want it, I really need my body to heal,"she said. maya bowed her head in embarrassment and said, "I'm sorry."
"You should stop apologizing for everything," Carina said, frowning. Maya just shook her head.

They spent the evening kissing each other. Maya smiled enjoying her last kiss.Carina"it's late, can you drop me at my house?"she said. Maya puckered her lip and said, "Do you have to go?" Carina kissed ir again and said, "You have a shift tomorrow, you need to rest." Maya , we can rest together, please,she said. Carina couldn't resist the sweetness of the blonde and said, "okay, let's get you into bed then." Maya, yes, my lady,"she said.

When Maya came out of the bathroom, Carina was already dressed. She was wearing the T-shirt and shorts that Maya gave her to wear.
Maya lay down on the bed next to the brunette, approached the brunette's neck and inhaled the smell of the brunette. Carina dropped a kiss on the blonde's lips, "you need to sleep, bambina,"she said. Maya shook her head and hugged the brunette more.

When Carina woke up, the other side of the bed was empty. She went out of the room to find the blonde. She smiled when she saw the plates on the table. She couldn't help but smile when she read the note on the plate.

Carina ate her breakfast and called the blonde, but she didn't answer. Carina thought she was on a call and decided to call her brother.

Carina waited for her brother wearing one of maya's SFD T-shirts. When Andrew arrived, she saw her brother arriving in Carina's car. "You should let me drive your car more," Andrew was looking on excitedly when Carina got in. Carina laughed.

When she finally got to her house, Andrew had made coffee for the two of them and sat down on the sofa. Andrew said, hey, how are things with your fiancé? As soon as Carina heard the blonde's name, she smiled and said, "everything couldn't be more beautiful right now, everything is with her, " while Andrew completed the sentence, saying, "it's easy." Carina nodded. Andrew patted his sister's shoulder and said, "It's been a long time since I've seen you like this. I think I should thank maya, "he said. Carina smiled and took a sip of her coffee and said, "Andrea,stai scherzando, come puoi rendere il caffè cattivo? (are you kidding me, how can you make coffee bad?)" Andrew,hyperbole is not so bad,he said.

The two Italians hugged each other, grateful that they were with each other after a long time.

When Maya sat down at the table to eat her dinner, ben travis, andy and vic sat across from her. Trying to understand what was happening in front of Maya, she said, "what do you want".Travis,isn't what vic said true that maya fell in love,
said.Maya pointed her fork and said, "Don't be ridiculous, we just got to know each other." Vic ,what if we can tell your love from the way you look at each other, but at the same time, Carina is very sexy, so even I'm already in love, she said. Maya said, frowning, "VİC! " The call came when Vic was about to answer.

When Maya approached the call address, there was a fear inside her that she could not understand. When she arrived at the scene, she saw that the address was where her brother worked. She said to herself, no, this can't be happening.

Maya was looking everywhere for her brother. She had disobeyed the captain's order to get out. Andy tapped Maya on the shoulder and said, "We have to go." Maya, no, no, I need to find Mason, he works here, I can't let him down again, she said. Andy radioed the captain.

When Captain Sullivan saw a man trying to enter the scene, he said, "hey, you have to let us do our job." The young blond man said, "please, I'm Maya's brother, tell her I'm out."

When Maya opened her eyes, her brother was at her bedside. When Mason saw that his sister was awake, he said, "Hey, you're awake." Maya said, frowning, "what happened?" Mason , you stayed in there too long, but it's nothing important, you can be discharged, he said. Maya smiled at her brother and said,the pictures were there with your pictures, weren't they?"
Mason said happily, despite the fact that his sister cares about his art, "it doesn't matter if it wasn't all there, I'm fine, you're fine, that's all that matters." Maya smiled.

Carina was surprised to see the message from Amelia, when she answered her phone, she saw a photo of the blonde lying unconscious in bed. Carina said ,oh my god. Andrew came to her immediately and said,what happened? Carina immediately called her friend and found out about the blonde's condition, she immediately set off with her brother to go to the blonde.

Maya was discharged. While the beginning of the last control structure was being prepared, she heard a voice "bambina" Maya immediately turned back and saw that the brunette was walking with difficulty, "hey you should not tire yourself out" she said. Carina wrapped her arms tightly around the blonde and hugged the blonde. Mason was surprised at what was happening in front of him and said "who are you?" Carina looked at the blonde woman. She looked at her and said, "I'm her fiancée." Mason said, "What?" in surprise.

Maya noticed her brother's surprise and said, "It's not what you think, it's just a joke between us."

Carina looked at Maya. She smiled and said to Andrea, "Let's go, we don't want to bother her anymore."   Maya realized her mistake and could only say "carina". 

Andrew wanted to talk to Carina along the way, but she just stared silently at the road, not saying a word. 

Mason looked at his sister, confused by what had just happened. Maya swallowed slowly, "I messed up, I messed up like I always do, she'll never forgive me." Mason couldn't stay silent any longer and said "maya who was that". Maya looked at her brother and quietly said "my fiancé".

When they arrived at Maya's house, Mason made a place for his sister by putting a pillow and blanket on the couch while Maya took a shower. 

Maya's heart melted at the way her brother worked so hard for her.

Maya was lying on the couch with her hot chocolate in her hand. Mason was sitting at her feet. He couldn't take it anymore." Maya said, "I know we're not close, but what's going on, who was that woman?
Maya said, hey we are close, I didn't get engaged without your knowledge like you think, actually I did but it's complicated. 

Maya told the mason everything and there was a bitter joy in her heart that she could finally have this closeness with her sister. 

Mason had never seen his sister so happy, even when she won her medal, it was strange for him to be so happy just talking about a woman.

"I know the doctors say you need to rest but I'm not going to tire you out, now change quickly and we're going out," Mason said suddenly standing up, not giving Maya a chance to speak. 

Carina was very tired. When she heard that Maya was in the hospital, she had rushed there without thinking. 

She was putting her feet up on the sofa. Andrew handed her a glass of water and said "hey don't be so upset, there's always an explanation". Carina said with a mixture of sadness and anger, "Yes, there is always an explanation. The more steps I take for her, the more she retreats." She repeated the last sentence silently. 

Andrew decided to have a movie night with his sister, ordering himself a pizza. As sad as Carina was, she was happy to finally be close to her brother. 

In the middle of the movie a knock on the door startled the two Italians. Andrew got up to open the door. 

Maya was forced into her own car as her brother pulled her out. Maya said, "Hey enough, will you tell me what's going on?" Mason remembered that he hadn't said a word to his sister and said, "First we're going to get some nice flowers and dessert and then we're going to visit your fiancé." Maya was shocked by what her brother had said. Taking a deep breath, Maya said "you don't understand, she won't forgive me, she made it clear that this was my last chance and I blew it. For a moment I believed I could make her happy, but my presence will always make her suffer" She said, wiping a tear from her eye. Mason couldn't keep silent about his sister's pain and said "maya look we have already been punished with the worst childhood and it is in our hands to ruin our adult life and I didn't let it happen and you shouldn't either. Now we're going to go and you're going to apologize and you're going to sleep on her doorstep if you have to until she forgives you. " he said. 

"Thank you for everything," Maya said with a smile through her tears.  

When they arrived at Carina's door, Maya turned to her brother with a bouquet of flowers and said, " She's definitely going to kill me." Mason laughed, it was like medicine to hear the laughter that Maya had missed so much. Now she had to get her fiancé back to hear her favorite laugh.

Maya went through her thoughts one last time and turned to her brother "everything is fine but why are you still here" she said. Mason shrugged and said, "You have better luck with me, you suck at conversations when you're nervous." Maya hugged her brother and rang the doorbell. 

Andrew couldn't believe his eyes when he opened the door. Maya was at the door with a bouquet of flowers almost half the size. 

"Is Carina here?" Maya said anxiously. "Yes, she's inside," Andrew said, not caring that his sister would be very angry with him. Maya rushed inside. 

Andrew looked questioningly at the blond man standing in the doorway. Mason noticed this and said "supporting my sister". Andrew smiled and said "same". 

Carina couldn't believe her eyes when Maya walked in with a bouquet. No matter how sweet Maya looked, looking at her with a puppy dog look with a bouquet that was half as big as her, she couldn't stop Carina's anger. "What are you doing here, Maya, I don't want to talk," she said. Maya bowed her head and said, "I'm sorry, I know I apologize all the time, but I panicked, Carina. I didn't talk to him about us but I swear I was going to. Then you came and I didn't want him to think I didn't care about him by hiding something so big from him, I'm sorry." As much as Carina understood the blonde, she was tired of being put in the same situation all the time. Carina didn't know what to say, she just wanted to hug the blonde and stay in her arms. But she restrained herself "Maya I'm tired of you talking about me so easily every time." Maya came up to Carina and took her hands and said, "I'm sorry, you're right, but I promise I'm going to solve this issue once and for all and I won't leave your side for a second unless you fire me." Carina took a deep breath

She exhaled a deep breath

"hello this is mason I'm sorry I wish I could meet my sister's fiancé on better terms but we have a lot of time for that. Maya shouldn't normally be out of the house no matter how much she says she's fine she's not and she needs to rest and I totally understand but she's really upset if this engagement thing is as my sister told me then what you and Maya have is very special and I hope you don't lose it." He said.

Carina smiled and gave Maya an angry look, gesturing for her to open her blanket and lie down next to her. Maya immediately jumped up and lay down next to Carina. Carina hugged the blonde and said "didn't your doctors tell you to rest, sometimes you really are a little bambino". 

"I'm resting now," Maya said, moving closer to Carina. 

Andrew tapped Mason on the shoulder and said "we were watching a movie and if you want we can share the other seat, no hugging though". Mason laughed and settled on the couch. 

Throughout the movie Maya and Carina were giving each other little kisses and definitely bothering their brother but they didn't care. 

When the movie was over, Mason said he had to go. He turned to Maya and said, "Come on, I'll drive you home." Carina hugged the blonde tighter and said, "Can't you stay here?" Maya kissed Carina on the nose and said, "Until you fire me." She said. Andrew and Mason both laughed at the same time, saying it was disgusting. 

It was evening when they were finally alone. "I think it's time for dinner," Maya said with a laugh as Carina's stomach rumbled. When Carina ducked her head shyly, Maya immediately grabbed her face and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Carina kissed back and they fought a small battle for dominance. Maya finally gave in. Carina smiled against the blonde's lips, quite pleased with the situation. Maya, unable to resist the brunette any longer, pushed her back and climbed on top of her. 

The kiss was getting harder and harder as Maya bit down on the brunette's neck and a small moan escaped Carina's mouth. Maya couldn't take the brunette's voice any longer and reached for Carina's t-shirt, stopping her as she pulled it off. Maya looked at the brunette with confused eyes as Carina grabbed the blonde's face and pulled her to her "my sweet Maya, I want it so badly I don't even recognize myself right now but I want something special without the strain of walking or the growls coming from your chest I know it sounds stupid" she said. 

"It's not stupid, I'm sorry I got carried away, let's make dinner," Maya interrupted and got off the brunette. Carina sighed, noticing the disappointment on the blonde's face. 

The two women ate together. They were both tired and found themselves in bed.
 I'll have to go to Italy soon, my cousin's wedding, Carina said. Maya removed her head from the brunette's neck and said, "You can't leave before you're well enough." Carina bit the blonde's finger and said "I talked to my doctors after 2 weeks, I'll start work in 1 week, I won't be able to go back but I can't stay at home anymore. " she said. Maya frowned and said "are you sure you are in no hurry". 
Carina smoothed the frown from the blonde's forehead and said "I love it when you worry about me bambina but I'll be fine".

Maya smiled, leaned over and placed a chaste kiss on the brunette's lips and said, "How long will you be in Italy?" Carina said, "Andrea and I are going with her, it's been a long time since we were in Italy so I want to spend some time with her. Maya nodded her head in understanding.

In the morning the two women fell asleep in each other's arms. Carina was the first to wake up. As much as she didn't want to get out of the blonde's arms, she had physiotherapy at noon. She took a quick shower and dressed quickly to prepare breakfast.
 When she returned to the bedroom, the blonde was lying on her fiancé's pillow. Carina covered the blonde, kissed her cheek and went to the kitchen.

When Maya opened her eyes, the other side of the bed was empty. She got out of bed and followed the smell into the kitchen. Maya just stood off to the side and watched her fiancé while Carina hummed Italian songs to herself. When Carina finally noticed Maya, she let herself fall into the blonde woman's arms with a smile on her face. "I missed you," Maya said, hugging Carina to her. "I was with you literally an hour ago," Carina said with a laugh. "I can never get enough of you," Maya smiled. Carina exhaled with a slight tear in her eyes, pulled Maya to her and hugged her tightly. Maya inhaled the brunette's scent and finally Carina loosened her arms and said, "Okay, now let's have breakfast, I have an appointment at the physiorepad today and then I will have my final check-up."

Maya said, "Okay, let's have breakfast and I'll drive you. Carina gave the blonde a quick kiss and said "you don't have to" Maya took Carina's face in her hands and said "hey where my fiancé goes, I go". Carina laughed and said "come on, speed up, we'll be late if we keep going like this". "Do you know who I am?" Maya said with a sarcastic smile. Carina said "yes, my sweet little Olympian".

During physiotherapy Maya was looking at the doctor with a very serious look. Carina could hardly stop herself from laughing. 
 
When it was finally over, maya and carina went hand in hand to the doctor's office. All the way, Carina was laughing. Maya coyly said "what". Carina said, "You should have seen her face. "What was on my face," Maya said, looking annoyed. "It looked like you were going to jump on us," Carina said, jokingly hitting the blonde. Maya looked offended and said "shut up". 

As the two women started to leave for home, Andrew stopped them and said "I'm sorry, I tried to come but I was in surgery, what did the doctor say". Carina looked at her sister sympathetically and said "great, I go back to work next week and then we can officially start our vacation in Italy". Maya said, "Of course, and you'll be on physiorepine for the rest of the week," without tiring herself out. Carina pursed her lips and said "buzzkill". Andrew smiled at the two women and said "ok, I won't see you tonight, are you going to be together".  Carina nodded and said "why what are you doing tonight". Andrew was going to visit his sister every day except the days he was working, "actually we are going to hang out with the mason" he said.

The two women looked at each other strangely. Andrew said, "Can't we hang out? "
"Look, bambina, maybe we'll have a double wedding," Carina joked. Andrew said to his sister "are you serious" and left. 

The two women looked at each other and smiled. 

Chapter Text

For two weeks, every day was the same for Carina and Maya. On Carina's first day at work, Maya had followed the brunette around the hospital all day, and when Carina caught the blonde, Maya was forced to go home.

Carina and Andrew's 2-week vacation to Italy had changed a lot about Carina and Andrew's sisterhood. For 1 week they revisited all the places they had traveled as children. Carina had strengthened her ties with her family through the wedding. They didn't forget to tell her family about her fiancé. They supported Carina's happiness, even though they seemed a bit against it at first. Carina happily showed Maya's photos, especially her cousins did not stop themselves from commenting on Maya's muscles.

During their vacation in Italy, Carina talked to Maya every day. Although she was a little scared at first, in fact, maya and carina's attachment to each other had increased during the holiday. Especially after her cousin's wedding, Carina couldn't stop thinking about her own wedding. Carina had lost faith in marriage too soon. She was so excited to discuss her plans with Maya until a pair of blue eyes out of the smoke changed her mind. She had some fears. She didn't want the engagement to still be a joke between them. They would talk about it first thing when she returned, but first Carina wanted to enjoy the last day.

As they were waiting for their luggage at the airport, Andrew suddenly hugged his sister and said "no one will ever be able to separate us from now on" Carina hugged her sister tighter and said "they will never separate us fratello". Andrew saw his sister's eyes watering and said sarcastically "how many hours early do you think your fiancé came to pick us up". Carina gave a small laugh and said "hey don't talk about my fiancé, she only cares about what she has to do". Andrew said, a loot. 

When they finally picked up their luggage and headed for the door, Carina's eyes were searching for her favorite eyes in the world. When she finally saw a couple of blue eyes looking for her, she smiled and moved towards them. When the blonde woman noticed her, Carina dropped her bags and ran to the blonde woman and jumped into her arms. 

Maya took her fiancé in her arms and spun her around. The brunette caught the lips she had missed so much and kissed her hard. Maya kissed back and continued to kiss the brunette without letting her off her lap. "Are we making a movie here," Andrew said as he came up to the two women. "Zitto," Carina said, annoyed that her brother was ruining the moment.

Maya, with Carina's suitcase in one hand and Carina's hand in the other, they were walking towards the car. After putting the suitcases in, Maya immediately ran to open the door and kissed the brunette on the lips. Every red lover along the way, Maya wasted no time in finding Carina's lips. Andrew rolled his eyes every time. 

They dropped Andrew off at his house and headed for Maya's house. Carina was going to stay at Maya's house for a few days after her return so she could spend time with Maya. 

As soon as they got home, Carina took a shower. Maya heated up the food she had made and set the table. When Carina got dressed and left the room, she saw Maya waiting for her in the kitchen. I'm ready to spend every day like this, she thought to herself.

After they finished eating, they went to bed in their underwear and fell asleep under the covers, hugging and kissing each other.

When Carina woke up in the morning, the blanket was off Maya, Carina couldn't stop herself between Maya's abs and leg muscles and she climbed on top of her and started kissing and biting her abs. 

Maya opened her eyes between the wet kisses and bites on her abs. Carina was satiated with her fiancé like she was starving. Maya stroked Carina's hair and said, "If this is a dream and I wake up now, it will be very bad." Carina smiled and climbed up slowly and kissed and bit the blonde's lip and said "do you think it's a dream" Maya said "please don't". Carina smiled and moved up to the blonde's neck.May let out a small moan and said "carina if you keep going I don't think I can stop". 

"I miss you," Carina said, planting another kiss on the blonde's lips. "I missed you too, my beautiful fiancée," Maya said, pulling the brunette into her lap. Carina smiled nervously. Maya frowned at the brunette's restlessness and said, "hey what's wrong?" Carina buried her face in the blonde's neck and said, "there's something on my mind." Maya immediately kissed the brunette on the head and said "you can tell me anything". Carina kissed the blonde's neck and said, "Everything between us is so special, I'm so happy, but I keep thinking about the engagement. Lately I can't tell if we're serious about it or if it's just a joke between us."
Maya, I don't know, I think it's something we really need to talk about and for me, I'm really taking this seriously, no matter how much it started as a joke between us. But you deserve to be proposed to properly,she said.
Carina smiled and kissed the blonde's cheek "I'm really happy with my proposal and I'm very serious about it, I'm not saying we should get married right away but it wouldn't be bad to start thinking about it" she said shyly. Maya smiled big and kissed the brunette on the forehead and said "can I take you out on a real date tonight, beautiful".
After a little more time in bed, Carina went into the kitchen and Maya went into the bathroom.

When Maya saw how easily the brunette was moving in the kitchen, she smiled and hugged her fiancée from behind and said, "Are we going to talk about you marking every part of my belly?" Carina laughed and said, "No one will see it but me, why are you worried anyway, Bishop?" "There's nothing to worry about, bishop," Maya said, kissing the brunette's shoulder.

The two women finished their breakfast with laughter.

To get ready for their date separately, Maya went to get ready in the guest room.

When Maya was ready, she went to the living room. She was wearing black trousers, a white shirt under a light brown sweater, and white Adidas. She was excitedly waiting for Carina to come out.

When Carina came out of the room wearing a strappy red dress with a deep neckline and low cut legs, Maya felt her heart stop. When Carina approached her and kissed her cheek, Maya took a deep breath, as if she had forgotten how to breathe. Carina smiled at the blonde and said, "Bambina, you look beautiful." Maya blushed and said, "What, have you seen yourself, Carina? You will kill me before I get married." Carina smiled and extended her hand. Maya joyfully took the brunette's hand and left the house.

Maya had made a reservation at a stylish restaurant. Maya's hands were sweating with excitement. She had just gone on a serious date for the first time, literally with the woman he was going to marry.

Carina noticed the blonde's excitement and held her hand "hey you already got me, think of it as just a formality" She said.  Maya said, nothing can be a formality with you, carina. 

The waiter came while Carina was smiling at the blonde

They enjoyed each other's company as they ate their meal. Maya smiled with pleasure as she listened to Carina talk about her time in Italy. 

Carina said, "My cousins are annoyingly obsessed with the muscles in your arm, you're going to cause a family fight.

Maya said, "I only have eyes on one deluca, though she's going to be a bishop soon. "

"Soon," Carina said, taking the blonde's hand. 

Maya took a sip of her water and exhaled deeply "carina I have been thinking about you since you came back from Italy and I realize that everything is happening a bit fast but since the first time I saw you I don't know how to describe it but it was like I was instantly connected to you you filled all the missing pieces in my life with your beauty and I am so lucky that one day I will be able to call you my wife but before that will you move in with me" Maya said. 

Carina could only say "bambina" in surprise.

"If it's too soon for you, I understand," Maya said in a panic, afraid her heart would burst out. 

Carina took the blonde's hands in her own and said "right now there is nothing I would like more than to wake up every day and see you first, to fall asleep in your arms every time I fall asleep bambina, yes I would love to move in with you". 

Maya happily got up suddenly and took the brunette in her arms.

They had no idea how they had finished their meal and returned home. 

As soon as Maya opened the door, Carina attacked the blonde's lips. Without waiting, Maya began to kiss the brunette's lips hard. Maya pushed Carina against the door. Carina couldn't stop smiling. 

"You have no idea how long I've wanted this," Maya said as she bit Carina's lip. 

"Show me, bishop," Carina said with a wry smile. 

"yes ma'am," Maya said as she picked up the brunette and led her into the bedroom. 

Maya planted a kiss on Carina's cheek and lowered herself onto the bed. 

Carina nuzzled her fiancé's neck. "Like everything with you, this is perfetto," she said, following the kisses her fiancé left on her. "I can't wait to spend every day of my life in your arms," Maya smiled and kissed the brunette on the nose. 

Carina smiled and kissed her fiancé.

Chapter Text

Three hours before the end of their shift, Maya was working out in the gym. Andy and Vic walked into the gym talking to each other, Maya saw her friends looking at her and laughing, so she took off her headphones, got off the treadmill and said "what are you laughing at". Vic with his hands in the air said "you in general, except for your amazing abs". Maya frowned and said "what's there to laugh about". Andy found his friend's innocence endearing and said "Carina really is a miracle worker look at you bishop soon your fiancé will be moving in with you and then you'll be getting married I'm really grateful to Carina as your bridesmaid and godmother to your future children." Maya couldn't help smiling and said "guys I don't know but I'm really excited about Carina moving in with me but before that I need to look for a ring, I'm actually thinking of designing one myself". Vic pursed his lips and said "that's so cute". The call came and the three friends started runing.

Maya took three consecutive showers and set out to go home. After the Olympics, she bought a house to live on her own. For the first time since she bought the house, she was dying to go home. Carina texted her fiancée, who had returned home from work, and told him that he had to come before eating.

As soon as Maya entered the house, she felt her heart set on fire by the warmth of the house. Carina was sipping her wine and dancing while mixing her sauce. When she noticed Maya leaning on the door and watching her, she smiled big and said, "Bambina, when will you stop looking at me and come kiss me?" Taking her fiancé's words as an order, Maya hugged the brunette and left a soft kiss on her lips. Maya kissed her fiancée and said, "I miss you, baby." Carina took some of the sauce and brought it to the blonde's lips. Maya groaned and said "perfetto". Carina suddenly grabbed Maya's face and kissed it passionately. Although Maya was surprised, she happily accepted the brunette's tongue, turned off the stove, took the brunette in her arms and they walked towards the room.

Maya set the table while Carina prepared the food. Maya moaned with every bite, angering Carina. Laughter filled the house as Maya attacked Carina's plate. Carina fed Maya from her plate and said, "Andrew has signed with the moving company for tomorrow. I'm officially moving out." Maya smiled and said, "Okay, tomorrow our team will come to help." Carina smiled at the warmth of their little family. 

"By the way, what do you think about inviting Mason and Andrew over one day when I'm free after we're done moving?" Maya said as she cleared the plates. Carina said, "That's a great idea bambina, Andrew and Mason are already friends and they've already agreed on a match this weekend. Maya pursed her lips and said "why didn't they invite me?" Carina laughed at the blonde's sweetness and wrapped her arms around her neck "Andrew was going to call you but I told him we had plans this weekend". Maya looked at her questioningly and said "plans, why didn't I know about them?" "Supreza," Carina said with a flirtatious smile.

In the morning, Maya woke up with Carina snoring in her arms. She couldn't help smiling. One shift last year when she and Andy had shared a bed, Maya had gone crazy from lack of sleep. She and Andy had fought all night. Now she found it cute to see her fiancé snoring in her arms. He was so cute she could hardly keep from biting him. Today they were going to be exhausted from the move. 

Carina finally started to squirm in Maya's arms. Maya kissed the brunette and said "good morning my love". Carina smiled and said "buongornio bambina". Maya pulled the brunette closer to her and said "how can you be so cute even when you snore. " Maya said. "I don't snore at all," Carina said with a frown. "Of course I heard wrong," Maya said with a laugh. Carina smiled and gave Maya a kiss and got up quickly and said "today is moving day bambina". Maya smiled at her fiancé's excitement and ran after her.

When they brought the last parcel upstairs, the pizzas they had ordered arrived, and Carina shone through everyone's fatigue. She radiated joy. Maya grabbed her sweaty fiancé around the waist and inhaled her scent. As energetic as Carina was, she was tired. She relieved her fatigue by leaning against her fiancé. Maya said, I want to spend every day like this, I want you in my arms. Carina turned around and pressed the blonde's lips to her own, "Maya Bishop, did you know that you are very romantic?" Maya smiled and said "anything for you". Maya reached up to kiss Carina and Andy threw a pillow over her head. Maya held her head and puckered her lips, looking at her friend. Carina frowned and said "hey don't ever do anything like that again". Andy and Vic put their hands in the air and said "we surrender".  Carina turned to her fiancé and said "did that hurt bambina".  Maya hugged Carina and said "yes". Carina kissed the blonde's head and said, "Do you want some ice?" The team watching the duo was in shock, "maya come on, it's just a pillow". Maya looked angrily at her friends. Carina's heart warmed to her fiancé's cuteness. She could see that Maya wasn't upset just because of a pillow. Because she knew for herself that she felt loved because Maya was taking care of her, that for the first time in her life someone was taking care of her. Maya felt the same way, she just needed to be taken care of. 

After the food was eaten, maya and carina were finally alone. They were lying on the sofa, cuddling each other. Carina stroked the blonde's head and said "today was very nice even though it was tiring, I don't have many boxes left to unpack, I'll do that tomorrow". "Yes it was nice, but now all I want to do is take a shower and then I want to sleep in your arms," Maya said in a faint voice. "That's a very good idea, bambina," Carina said. When Carina stood up and held out her hand for Maya to get up, Maya pulled her up and sat her on her lap. "I'll take you out on your next day off," Maya said, planting a kiss on the brunette's lips as Carina looked puzzled. "What are your plans, bishop?" Carina asked, looking puzzled. Maya said, "surprise bishop or supresaa". Carina laughed at Maya's imitation and said "we have to work for the Italian until we get married bambina". Maya nodded and said "si".

After Maya finished her final preparations, she left for home to pick up Carina. When she arrived home, Carina was waiting for Maya downstairs. Maya got out of her car and approached Carina. Carina smiled at the blonde coming towards her and put her arms around the blonde's neck. Maya pulled her fiancé close and kissed her. Maya smiled and said, "As much as I don't want to leave, we have to go." Carina left one last kiss and went to the car. Maya was first and opened the car door. Carina smiled and said "grazie".

When they reached Maya, they took Carina's hand and walked away. Carina couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the surprise. Maya had prepared a picnic in a remote part of the park where she used to come as a child with her mother and brother and had decorated it with lights. Carina looked happily at Maya and gave the blonde a kiss. "I know it's not worthy of you, but this place was special to me and now I want it to be special to us," Maya said shyly. Carina frowned and said "bambina that's so sweet".

They were talking in each other's arms after eating what Maya had prepared for them. When Maya left Carina's arms, Carina looked at Maya in confusion.  When Maya took out a box from her pocket, Carina looked into Maya's eyes. "I know she is not worthy of you," Maya said as she opened the box and took out a ruby ring. Carina interrupted the blonde and said "bambina this is perfect". Maya continued, "I want the ring to have meaning, that's why she wanted to research and buy it. First of all, one of the important reasons why I chose ruby is that it represents courage. The day I met you, you were so brave baby, so brave that courage was strong enough for both of us. Ruby red also means fire, passion and desire. He wanted the representation of desire and passion between us to remind you that he is always with you. Inside the ring is engraved the day we met, a day I will never forget, perhaps for the rest of my life, and for which I will always be grateful. Our initials are surrounded by a heart and I want it to represent my love for you. Carina, I love you, you are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me." Carina said in tears "I love you too bambina I will always love you this is so perfect". Maya tearfully kissed her fiancé passionately and screamed her love on her lips.

After putting the ring on her fiancé's finger, she kissed her hand. 

Chapter Text

Maya woke up exhausted from last night. The scars on her body reminded her of last night's kisses. Smiling to herself, she slowly got up from under the brunette's arms. She felt the butterflies in her stomach rise when she saw the ring on her fiancé's hand. She kissed Carina's face and got up from the bed. 

She was proud of herself when she saw the table she had prepared. The next thing was to wake up her beautiful fiancé. It was an impossible mission, Carina hated being woken up. As soon as Maya entered the room, her eyes fell on the naked body of her fiancé sleeping on their bed. 

"Bambina buongiorno," Carina woke up, moaning at the wet kisses on her skin as she snuggled into Maya's pillow. Maya kissed her fiancé's body from her stomach to her breasts, then rubbed her nose against hers and said, "Good morning, beautiful." Carina pulled the blonde's face to her and pressed her lips to the blonde's lips.
"Breakfast is ready and waiting for you," Maya said, smiling at the kiss. Carina, admiring her fiancé's blue eyes, said "yes I see" and flipped her fiancé over and climbed on top of her. 

When they had finally had enough of eating each other, they got out of bed to have their main breakfast. Carina, surprised by the breakfast the blonde had prepared, said "if you had such things, why didn't you tell me?" Maya laughed and said "I didn't know I was capable of such things, you bring out the best in me". Carina pursed her lips and pulled the blonde into a tight hug. 

The two finished their breakfast and watched a movie on each other's laps. They were so focused on the movie when Maya's phone rang. Maya's face lit up as soon as she saw the caller. It was Hima, Maya's friend since high school. They had met in a bar during Maya's rookie days and had laughed and talked to each other until the morning. Hima had become a successful lawyer. She came to visit Maya from time to time and it was a fact that they benefited from each other during these visits. Hima announced that she would visit Maya soon. Maya couldn't stop smiling throughout the entire conversation.

When she hung up the phone and saw Carina frowning at her, she couldn't help smiling and burst out laughing. Carina tapped her fiancé on the shoulder and said, "What are you laughing at?" "You should see your face, baby," Maya said. Carina blew on the ice cream from the fridge and returned with one scoop. Maya looked at the brunette eating the ice cream and said, "No ice cream for me?" "No," Carina said angrily. Maya smiled slyly and said, "Fine, I'll find something else to eat." She took her fiancé in her arms and led her to the bedroom. Carina wiggled in the blonde's embrace, laughing.

For the last week they had been having almost the best days of their lives. They spent every evening together taking care of each other as if it were their last meal together. Tonight it was Carina's turn to prepare dinner, and when it was her turn, she made a point of cooking Italian cuisine. In the evenings, over wine after dinner, Carina made a point of teaching Maya Italian. At night in bed she would tell her fiancé about her country.

As Maya was helping her fiancé set the table, the two were startled by a sudden knock on the door. Maya went to open the door. As soon as she opened the door, Hima jumped on her neck and found herself in her arms. Hima detached herself from the blonde's arms and grabbed her face, pressing her lips to hers. Carina dropped the plate on the floor in shock. Maya suddenly pulled herself back and pushed herself away. Hima looked at Carina and Maya. "I'm sorry, I thought I was sorry," Hima stammered. Carina said "what did you think", not adjusting her tone. Maya sensed the tension and said "Hima, meet my fiancée Carina". "I am so sorry, you didn't mention this when I called, I didn't know, I am so sorry, I am leaving right now," Hima said in shock. Maya suddenly said "no please it's my fault I wanted to tell you in face to face". Carina was looking at Maya with angry eyes. Maya swore at that moment that Carina's eyes could kill her. "Look, I'm really sorry, please sit down," Maya said, wanting to clear up all the confusion.

When Maya dropped Hima off at the hotel and returned home, she expected to find an angry Carina. When she stepped into the house, Carina was calmly sipping her coffee. Maya calmly approached her and planted a kiss on the top of her fiancé's head. "Are you ashamed of me, how we met?" Carina asked, not looking at the blonde's face. "No, of course not, baby, what's that all about," Maya said in shock. "Why do we always have to go through this, Maya, your ex kissed you in front of me," Carina said without moving a muscle. Maya took her fiancé's hands in hers and said "Look, I really didn't think we were going to go through something like this when we were talking, I said it would be better to tell her in person, it never crossed my mind that he or any other person in the world could kiss me except you, I swear my heart and my whole body belongs to you". Carina looked her fiancé in the eye and said, "I believe you, but I swear to you, Maya, if something like this ever happens again," but Maya interrupted her and said, "It won't happen." 

2 DAYS LATER

Carina couldn't hide her excitement as she looked at the ring in front of her. Andrew couldn't help smiling as he watched his sister's excitement. Carina looked at her brother and said "what are you laughing at". 
"I'm just saying it's nice to see you like this," Andrew said with a smile. Carina looked at her brother and smiled.
She took the special piece of ring she had chosen and excitedly started to prepare her surprise. 

When Maya got home from work, she saw lavender on the floor as soon as she opened the door. She looked up and saw the Italian goddess walking towards her. Carina left a soft kiss on her fiancé's lips and began to take off her coat. Maya felt her breath catch. Carina laughed and sat the blonde down at the table, massaging her shoulders and whispering Italian words in her ear. Maya could have sworn she was in heaven. They ate and sipped wine as Carina sat across from her.

As Maya put the plates away, Carina took her hand and sat her down. As Maya looked at her in surprise, Carina knelt down and said, "I want to be with you all the time, no more words, I have always felt one all my life. I knew the first time I saw you, bambina, that my heart and soul belong to you. The tens sign in the ring is a sign that I will always belong to you, bambina. The diamond in the center shows that you are the light of my life. I have always been happy with who I am in my life, as a child, as a woman, as a doctor, but bambina, the thought of being your wife makes me the happiest. I know you have already given your answer but I want to ask you again, will you marry me bambina". Maya said "yes I've never been so sure of anything in my life, baby." with tears in her eyes and jumped into her fiancé's arms. Carina carefully placed the ring on her fiancé's finger.

The two remained on the floor for a while, unable to take their eyes off each other.
