A Vampire's Care

Summary:

Guillermo has got stuffy, cold nose and Nandor wants to be there for him. Despite the two having a bit of a trouble.

Notes:

I wrote this down in 15/20 minutes or so. It's not supposed to be taking all too seriously though. I don't expect kudos, this is just a silly small fic. Enjoy , hehe.

Work Text:

‘‘Nandor, I told you a thousand times I don't need help.” He insisted with an aggression sparking in his vocals. He turned his head to face the wall instead of the bloodsucker, before glancing one eye at the tall man. The familiar sniffled, his nose being stuffy didn't help.

The vampire stood there, furrowing his brows, waving his hand in the air. ‘‘But, Gizmo," Nandor exclaimed with his remarkable accent. ‘‘You have those.. oogie boogies, in your nose!” He motioned to Guillermo's nose. Stepping closer, till the bodyguard crossed his arms. Nandor slowly placed a hand on the human's shoulder. ‘‘Guillermo... you can stay in my coffin, so you don't spread your guu-guus.” ‘‘Why would I want-” ‘‘In you go.”

He pushed Guillermo's back and lead him over to his own coffin. ‘‘I shall tell Nadja to get you Oreos, okey?” ‘‘Nandor, I don't need oreos. I need sleep, that's all! And I don't want to sleep in a coffin!” Nandor grumbled a gibberish grumble. ‘‘nehh.. egh.. okay. You can sleep in your own room then.” ‘‘Thank you.”

The familiar moved out of Nandor's room, the vampire of course followed. Why wouldn't he? As Guillermo stepped inside of his own tight and small space, he sat down on the bed. Nandor of course, sat next to him. ‘‘Guillermo.. I shall now tell you a story to make you slumber.” He informed, fiddling with his two fingers. It was sort of a habit, a habit that never seem to vanish. But that made Nandor, Nandor.

Guillermo rested his head down on the pillow, laying on his back, moving his legs to give space to the vampire. Gizmo stared at the vampire sitting at the edge of the bed, struggling to almost not fall off.

‘‘I shall now tell you a bedtime story , okei? So you can slumber, Gizmo..” He informed and began to fiddle his fingers, searching for stories to tell the human. ‘‘Fine. One story, Nandor.” ‘‘Okei. Hmm, there was once.. a vampire.. and.. a familiar.. the immortal being carried the human up to the skies to let him pretend he was a vampire-” ‘‘Wait, Master, is this about us?” The familiar asked, tilting his head up to get a good look at the guy. ‘‘Er.. yes, but hush now. You must sleep.”

He continued, and Guillermo pulled his head down on the pillow and listened to the man's tale. It was fictional, Nandor came up with it. What do you mean he didn't? Guillermo sniffed, screaming out a sneeze. ‘‘Guillermo! You can't interrupt my story because you wanted to sneeze!” ‘‘Nandor! Can I please get sleep!?” ‘‘Such a grumpy human..” Both of them sighed, and Nandor got on his feet, and tucked Guillermo in. ‘‘There. Are you happy now, Gizzzzmo..?” He slurred the nickname, quite harshly. All in all, the human didn't mind. He was in fact ecstatic now. Despite being upset with Nandor's silly remarks and complaints.

‘‘Thank you, Master.”

‘‘You're..... welcome, familiar.”
