It's Friday night and that means only one thing: Movie Night with Master. This one turns out a little bit different than others in the past, however.
This is slightly canon divergent in that Guillermo being a slayer is common knowledge in the vampire residence, but he was never imprisoned and he is still Nandor's familiar. Welcome to my first fanfic ever! My cat Squeakers passed away recently and suddenly. In casting about for a way to honor him, the Muse beckoned and I decided to write a story about him. Summary
Nandor and Guillermo have been divorced for six long, long years. Of course, they were never married in the first place, not in any other way than in practice; That would have required an aptitude for interpersonal reciprocity that Nandor simply has never thought himself to be capable of.
So to put it more accurately — more honestly, perhaps — it has been six years since Guillermo left Nandor to pursue a human life. But honesty was never Nandor's strong suit, either.
Or: AU in which instead of going to Derek in the end of season 4, Guillermo just left.

It's been over three years since Brian Dempsey was killed. But three years is less than the blink of an eye for a vampire, and Laszlo Cravensworth refuses to move on and accept that his familiar and lover is gone. And why should he have to? He's Laszlo Cravensworth. His intelligence is a ten and he's got plenty of tricks up his sleeve to bring Brian back to him.
As Laszlo conducts his exhaustive search, life goes on at the Vampire Residence. Nandor is still recovering from the Battle of Nutley. Guillermo is taking good care of his precious guy-wife and the rest of his family. Nadja is torn between wanting to help her husband and ensuring that their departed familiar never disrupts their undead lives again. The bottom falls out for Victor, and he'll need to go on a journey of his own to get to where he belongs.
