[Hyunjin]
"Is she alive?" I asked the only guard I trust. "Please tell me she is!"
I fell on my knees and instantly opened my eyes.
It was the same dream again.
Tears fell down and my heart felt painful.
I have been having these kind of dreams many times now and they always make me cry in my sleep. I don't remember when it started but recently it has been happening more often compared to when I was younger.
"Jagi, are you up?" I heard Han Jisung's voice from the other side of the door. I grabbed my phone and texted him instead.
"Hurry then. We're running late."
I didn't reply and rushed my self to the bathroom instead.
"Is Chan hyung and Changbin hyung awake?" I asked from the bathroom door. Of course, they are. Why I even bothered to ask. If Jisung is awake then they have probably been up since 30 minutes ago.
"Gwet yooor sootcwashes rwedy in fwonof de dworr," he said while brushing his teeth.
I immediately went for my suitcases and bumped Changbin hyung with his protein shake.
"Sorry, hyung."
Thankfully it didn't spill.
"I'll let it slide because you are cute. Why don't you get ready by the way?"
I ran to my room before Chan hyung hear what he said because Changbin hyung's voice is so loud even in the morning. I pushed my suitcases to the front door and go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.
"Hyunjin-ah, hurry please!" Chan hyung said when I rushed back to my room.
"Ne, hyung!" I screamed without looking at him.
I put on clothes that I already prepared the night before. I brushed my hair and wanted to tie it half up but wasn't not long enough. My eyes were a bit swollen so I put sunglasses.
"Bad dream again, Hyunjin-ah?" Asked Chan hyung when I hopped into the car. All of them were already there with their phones on their faces.
"What dream?" Asked Changbin hyung.
I told about how tired I am every morning whenever I have "the dream" to Chan hyung. Even though I didn't tell him what happens there since I couldn't comprehend it myself.
"It's okay. Just try to sleep on the plane later," Chan hyung said without answering to Changbin hyung.
A bunch of reporter, fansites and stays were already lined up in the entrance when I slided open the car door. I tried to walk as normal as I could for the media and wave my hands to respect them who already wait for us so early in the morning.
I saw Felix, Minho hyung, Seungmin and Jeongin get off of their car in front of ours. They lived in different dorms.
"Good morning, Hyunjin-ah," Felix said while tapping my shoulder.
"Hi, Felix." I tried hard not to blush in front of the cameras. There are times when I just want to hug him so much.
I went straight to the entrance after bowing to the cameras. I always lead the members, behind the body guards and one of the manager of course. Sometimes I look back and check if there are seven members behind me and see Chan hyung smiles at me affirming that we are all safe from the crowds.
Today I was seated next to Changbin hyung. Other days with Han, because tickets are usually reserved according to our age. I put my headsets on and tried to sleep on the flight.
"Playing in the water again?"
I saw a girl in front of me writing something on the paper while putting her feet in the water. She didn't answer me or even turn around to see me.
I look edaround and saw that now I'm in front of a waterfall.
The image in front of me suddenly changed to a hall.
"You love her, right? Then don't let her die with stains on her name!"
And old lady in front of me cried while the guards were trying to get rid of her from the hall.
"Is she alive?" I asked the only guard I trust. "Please tell me she is!"
I opened my eyes and Felix was there.
"Hyunjin-ah, are you okay?" He says while touching my shoulder.
I felt something come up from inside my eyes and ran to the plane toilet.
I see tears after tears running through my eyes on the mirror. I feel so much pain inside my heart. The one I usually have when I see bad news on TV or from people around me.
The dream added a few scenes this time which I feel so familiar with but I still don't know where they're from or what they even mean at this point.
It was just a dream. Why does it affect me so much?
"Hyunjin-ah, are you sick?" I heard Felix's deep but soft voice from outside.
I wiped the tears away and opened the door.
"Are you crying? Did you have bad dream?" He asked. "I was coming from toilet when I pass your seat and you seemed like you were having a nightmare."
His face was so close to mine. He looked so worried but Felix is Felix. He is always so caring and kind to everyone around him.
"I'm okay, just lack of sleep." I said to him while swallowing the non-existent saliva.
"You didn't go straight to bed after we ate outside last night?" He handed me a bottle of water.
I took it because my throat and lips feel so dry. I didn't know if it's because of the plane or the dream.
"After you hugged me because I bought you an ice cream? How can I sleep?" I said, a bit chuckled.
He smiled and my heartbeat started to fill my eardrums.
"Next time please buy Jeongin one as well. I had to buy him one when he saw mine."
He left me in front of the toilet and went back to his seat.
Changbin hyung who was sleeping by the window kicked the blanket and I fixed it for him. I then checked our location by tapping on the screen in front of me. We will land in LA in couple of hours for our tour.
