Damian scoffs at him. “It’s hardly an abyss, I can see the building's rumble below and some of the broken infrastructure at the bottom -”
“Wow, you’re so not helping your case.”
(Or the one where their patrol night goes to shit and Tim has a really stubborn little brother that apparently wants to die again just because he's stubborn as fuck. Sucks for Damian, though, because Tim is used to doing the exact opposite of what Damian wants just to spite him. Like a good big brother.)

Damian sighs, exasperated, but still waves his arm offhandedly as if to give him permission. What a brat.
Jason throws, lands, and sticks the crab bite neatly in Justin’s exquisite locks without any casualties.
Jason shouts, warmth bubbling inside him at his own victory. He throws a wide grin at his brother behind him, and he's able to enjoy the full three seconds he gets to witness Damian’s equally wide grin before Heaven itself rains down on them and sumits them to Hell.
(Or the one where Jason and Damian willingly decide to be stuck together during a gala and their chilled evening of throwing crab bites on strangers' hair is interrupted by unwanted bombs. Which would be fine, if Damian priorities were the same as Jason's.)

Jon knew Damian better than anybody.
He knew his heartbeat, the rate of his breaths, all of his tiny micro-expressions he thought he knew how to hide. Jon spent most of his time with Damian. It was impossible for Jon to not know everything that was going on with him.
