"I swear to the Lord above, I am not going back in there until you get it."
Listen, he may be a previous ruler of high school fame, he may live in a house way too big for him, and he may be a parental figure to a bunch of kids only 3-8-ish years younger than him, but there is no way in hell he's going in there when there is a spider loose and he doesn't know where it is.
"You're really that scared of spiders, Harrington?"
Robin is looking at him with a raised eyebrow, incredulous expression that Steve definitely knows the meaning of as he stands on a chair in his own dining room, far away from the main bedroom where the abomination had been spotted.
"Of course I am! They're big and have very long legs, and I really need you to go kill it please?"
"Yeah!" Eddie chimes in from his spot on Steve's counter, legs pulled up the best he can. "Kill it!"
Robin glances in the direction of the stairs. "Are you sure it's even still in there?"
Steve can feel himself pale. "Robin! Please don't joke like that..."
She looks at him again, crossing her arms with a smirk. "Who even says I am? those fuckers can move fast."
"Steve... I think we need to burn your house down," Eddie inserts after the silence stretches a little too long.
Steve's head snaps to look at him, only hearing Robin laugh.
