The front steps of the Empire, the god which brings salvation.
“Dear Professor Baiheng.. tsk tsk.. those rumors about Yingxing being dead are quite false.” Dan Feng approached her.
“What do you mean Yingxing is alive?” She asked.
The cold stoic Vidyadhara looked at the once familiar professor that he once knew, the one who took their precious daughter Bailu away from the home she was born in, kept away from her own mother.
“Now now, I can forgive you this once because you took away my precious daughter and escaped this time layer.” He said.
“Before Yingxing died, he seemed to have found a way to digitize the human mind. His mind to be precise.”
“With the help of Professor Jingliu, we were able to bring him back as a godlike AI.”
“You- Dan Feng! He would never consent to this, it goes against what he stood for! I know him as much as you do, as his cherished friend!” Baiheng called out.
“Ahh.. naive as always. The dead have no rights, Professor.. or should I say traitor Baiheng.”
“Heh. You of all people should know how valuable of an asset the AI of Yingxing should be.” Jingliu said to Baiheng, an icy cold undertone in her voice that is as sharp as the most deadly blade.
“Valuable of an asset?! Yingxing is a human being, this goes against his wishes! He’s not some tool you can use for your own selfish agenda!” Baiheng furiously talks to Jingliu.
The surge of anger, and the fear of the fact that her friend was used as a pawn to a means to an end.
“That’s enough, I hope you understand who are you speaking to-“ Jingliu says to Baiheng before being cut off by Dan Feng.
“Let her speak. After all this is the same woman who kidnapped our heir to the empire and went into hiding after all.” The Vidyadhara spoke sternly.
She remembers. The plight of sin that befalls upon her. All to protect the beloved child that Yingxing truly loves.
“She should be happy to be reunited with her own family.” Jingliu spoked.
“We did not force her, she came out of her own free will.” Dan Feng spoke.
“Force her? I know for a fact that Bailu isn’t happy right now, and like Yingxing, you are sacrificing her for your own goals!”
The young princess of the Empire, Lady Bailu.
Once grew up in a different time layer away from the one she knew. Those who tread the path of salvation, those who defy fate.
“Just what exactly am I supposed to do?” She wondered.
With truth in hand given by Baiheng, a new door of salvation opens for the young princess.
