Luz laid in her bed watching the sky outside the window. She thought of her girlfriend Amity, and how the purple-haired witch was probably walking around her house (now that her family had removed all traces of Odalia's influence, Blight Manor was a much more relaxing place to be) on a weekend like this when she didn't have any obligation to do anything. She decided to call Amity, cheekily asking her why she was wasting time alone instead of wasting it with her girlfriend.
Growing up under Odalia, Amity had been told that being unproductive was the worst thing she could possibly do. Because of this, she was having some tiny regrets about wasting her time just cuddling with Luz. Of course, she told her girlfriend about it, and Luz's response had been to hug her tighter and say cuddling was the most productive thing she could possibly be doing, since she was producing happiness. Amity giggled at that; Luz always found a way to make her smile.
Luz and Amity didn't have anything else to do, so they decided to invite all their friends to waste time together. Although, Luz realized, wasting time wasn't really wasting time when you were enjoying it instead with your friends and girlfriend. Amity agreed, but she decided that wasn't such a bad thing either.
