"Who takes care of you?"
Dick stared at his boyfriend flabbergasted.
“What do you mean?”
Danny gave him a stern look that had just as much love in it.
“All you do is take care of everyone in your life. Who do you let take care of you?”
“I don’t need anyone to take care of me. I can do it myself.”
Danny hugged him unexpectedly. It was so full of warmth that Dick couldn’t do anything but hug him back.
“No, everyone needs someone sometimes. Let me be that person for you.”
Dick didn’t know what to say.
“Okay.”
